Cabin at Granite Ledge
Il nostro tranquillo cottage estivo, costruito nel 2009 sulle pendici occidentali di Freeman Ridge nel Southwest Harbor, nel Maine, alla fine di una strada privata, è il luogo perfetto per godersi la vostra vacanza nell'Acadia National Park sull'incantevole Mount Desert Island. Il cottage ha una completa privacy, che si trova in un ambiente tranquillo e di foreste. Costruito su una sporgenza, il cottage ha una vista dall'alto albero del bosco e ci sono scorci buco della serratura attraverso l'abete alto di Bernard Mountain a nord e Swans Island a sud-ovest. La foresta di altezza circonda il cottage dare una casa sull'albero espansiva sente ad una cabina modesto con il minimo ingombro. Come la maggior parte cottage estivi in Maine, Granito Ledge è un unico edificio di costruzione e progettato per un uso stagionale. Costruito per specifiche del proprietario, inquadratura della cabina e il tetto sono realizzati in legname raccolto e lavorato dalla proprietà. Tutti gli elettrodomestici sono nuovi, i pavimenti sono in legno massiccio e danno un tocco di lusso a un'esperienza rustica.

This cabin exceeded our expectations. The setting is private and peaceful, with stunning unobstructed views that we never tired of enjoying! The house was thoughtfully stocked with almost everything you could need, making it feel comfortable and easy to settle in. The owner was great to work with and communicated promptly whenever needed. We also loved the beautiful drive into Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. We highly recommend this property and would happily (hopefully!) return in the future :)

Quiet, secluded cabin with great sunset views. Clean and well stocked with dishes, towels, and wood for the wood burning stove! Close to several hikea in Acadia and a short drive to Bar harbor.

We loved the cabin and was perfect for our family of 4. We love Southwest Harbor so it was great to have a quick drive into town but be able to come back to total, complete privacy. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Laura was a great host and responsive to any questions. If you want a private, relaxing place this is it

What delight I felt pulling up to this remote cabin set back in the woods! We got out of the car and went inside only to find that the place was just what I wanted. It is clean and bright and has just the right amount of space (there were 4 of us, though it could have handled more). There are windows everywhere looking out into the forest and letting in the beautiful Maine air. It had all the amenities we needed to cook. There is a spacious deck and porch to sit outside.The location feels remote and quiet, yet it is a short drive to town in Southwest Harbor. I wouldnt have wanted anything more and will be going back.
