We had the BEST time! The kids loved jumping off the dock and playing on the beach!! We’re already thinking of dates for next year!!

We absolutely loved our time here. The house was spacious and very comfortable for our family of 5. The beach area was a great space for our two year old to play and enjoy the lake. The views of the lake from the deck are stunning. We hope to come back again!

Absolutely loved our stay at Bud and Cathy’s home. The reality exceeded the listing. From the minute we walked in you could tell this home is loved and lived in. It felt like we were staying at a friends house with so many tiny details thought out. The yard with landscaping and hardscaping was beautiful. We spent everyday of our stay on the dock using the little boat house with a fridge, the covered area and jumping into the lake! We brought our paddle boards and tubes and really had the most relaxing week. We rented a boat one day and docked it at the house after boating to the cove for lunch. I would recommend this home over and over again! We loved our stay! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

We stayed here two years ago, and again this year. The home is lovely, spacious, and well-stocked. The sandy beach down by the dock is perfect for kids to play. The bbq and fire pit were perfect for making dinner and a treat afterwards. Bud and Cathy were responsive and kind. We'd definitely recommend staying with them!

Beautiful

This home is perfect. Everything is neat, clean, tidy. The inside of the home is set up to maximize the view and use of the lake. The outside of the home has some landscaping that is very well thought out. The views from the deck of the home are awesome. The deck near the boathouse is a great place to have morning coffee. Overall this is a great place to rest and relax. The owners are to be complimented for keeping this home perfect.

This was a wonderful place for our Zoom Bible Study group to gather face-to-face. This spacious, comfortable home provided all we needed to experience a beautiful time of fun, food and fellowship. The amazing view of the lake and property set a peaceful and restorative atmosphere for our spiritual retreat. We look forward to coming back, especially when the weather is warmer so that we can experience more of the dock and waterside.

Group of six men five were retired, Four Engineers and two Firefighters. Went fishing all five days and had a great time. The lake house was perfet, all though we basically slept, most of our meals were at local restaurants. Could not ask for a better boat house, plenty of room for all three boats. Several of us are considering this location for a future family vacation.

The owners were very sweet and more than accommodating on our last minute getaway for my mom's birthday with a quick response time. The house and the view were absolutley beautiful. We had 8 people and there was plenty of room for all of us to have our own space. The house was very clean and cozy. It was the most perfect getaway!

It was our first family trip to Lake Anna. We were so amazed how beautiful the area was and the house was gorgeous! It exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back and will want to stay at this property again.

The process for renting was easy. Clear instructions and support from hosts. The property and home were beautiful. Would like to stay there again next year.

We had 5 men in our group on a striper fishing trip and the house was perfect in every area. The location was spot on as far as where we wanted to fish and the dock was more than big enough to accommodate my pontoon boat. We had plenty of space inside the house and everything was in working order. Check in and check out was a breeze and host was gracious enough at last minute to let us check in 2 hours early. Will definitely be booking this house in the future.

My family had a great relaxing stay. Very spacious, clean, with fully stocked kitchen

4 adults, including my 89 year old father, found this home accessible and quite lovely. Clean, open and airy, the home made it easy for 3 cooks to be pulling together a meal. The table easily sits 6 with room for more at the kitchen island bar. Despite bad weather, we never felt stifled as it provided lots of room. We even enjoyed the screened in porch, which was a great spot even when raining. Lots of bathrooms meant no waits for showers - and lived the two walk-in showers which proved perfect for our elderly dad. Will likely plan a future visit and bring our boat. Amazing home is a solid 10.

This is our second time staying at this property and we enjoyed ourselves again! The property has everything you could need for a wonderful visit to the lake!

This property is perfectly positioned on the lake. It is quiet and great for fishing and relaxing. Most everything you will need is there for you and working through any concerns w the owner is easy and pleasant. We had a little problem w the entry but between the owner and neighbor who assists w the property it was all worked out. I do recommend you keep those emails you receive readily available for phone numbers and email addresses. My wife and I had a beautiful week of weather and an amazing time. It was a great place to meditate and hear from God. I would love to own this property that’s how impressed I was. Since it’s not for sale, we will have to just come back again and pretend for a week that we do own it. I highly recommended staying here, you will not regret it.

My husband and I loved the location and layout. The house is well set up for a family group. Lots of outdoor seating. The dock is great! The oven was in rough shape...hadn't been cleaned in a long time. There were occaisional minature ant infestations. We recommend good storage containers. We also recommend boat rentals from Shipwreck rentals..very nearby as is The Cove..a super happenin' place!

This is a gem of a property that exceeded our expectations from the moment we stepped foot in the house! I think the best part about the property is its dock. We only left the house one day to explore; the rest of the time, we hung out on the dock, read, ate, and swam. The home is spacious and has plenty of room for everyone. For families, they will enjoy the downstairs with the giant beanbag, games, and the foosball table. It is the best vacation we have taken in a while, and this property made it so! Also, communication with the hosts was quick and easy.

We once again had an amazing and relaxing time. The location was perfect and enjoyed by kids and adults alike. The house is clean and property well maintained. The owners are very responsive and helpful. We hope to stay here again next year.

This is such a beautiful place to stay from the house, awesome boathouse to hangout to the fire pit and little beach for the little ones. Great next door neighbor and great communication with the owners . Loved our stay and would come again

This is a lovely property on the lake with wonderful views and easy access to the water. We stayed the week of July 4th and enjoyed private fireworks displays put on by surrounding neighbors that were surprisingly spectacular. The kitchen was well stocked although some utensils and appliances were very old and needed to be replaced. The kitchen area is always about 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the house. The stove light doesn't work. The refrigerator wasn't wiped out so it wasn't spotless but okay. The dishwasher was full but clean and we had to empty it upon our arrival. The deck grill handle was missing a screw and the grates were dirty. Spare propane was provided. We had replaced several light bulbs allover the house.The bedrooms were very nice. All the beds were unmade but clean sheets were provided to make up the beds. The extra blankets did not look freshly laundered so we did not use them. (I washed a throw on the sofa because it looked dirty). The bathrooms were clean. The downstairs fan as mentioned in another review (which I had not read before our stay) is still not replaced. The living room areas are all very nice. One of the shades is torn and the owner is aware. Not a great look but perhaps it just happened. The TV service is good however it was difficult to use at first because the cords were not hooked up correctly. It took about 30 minutes to unscramble and get it working. Most of the area rugs in the house needed cleaning or replaced. The dock area was fantastic. The hot dog griller was fun to have and we came prepared to use it. The surface of it was sticky and dirty though but relatively easy to clean. Taquitos were previously cooked on it and one had fallen behind the griller and it smelled of rotten food until we found it there. We rented water toys and had fun using them on the lake. They were delivered to the house. The neighbors were nice. One came over and said hello. The karaoke that is next door was loud until midnight several nights. We did not enjoy that. Otherwise, the surrounding properties were great.We got a call from the owner that their boat was being repaired on our last afternoon there. We were not at the dock at the time so it didn't matter however if we had been planning to be on the dock, I would not have been happy having a repair interrupting out stay for a service that we were not allowed to use. It felt like a stay at a cousin's house vs. a stay at a house for which we paid a premium price.

This house had everything we needed! There are so many houses we’ve rented where some of the bare essentials were available. We felt like it was a place where you can easily cook your own meals. We loved the little sandy beach area and the fire pit with available fire wood. The house was quite spacious and you can tell the owners keep good care of it. We can’t wait to come back again next year.

Although, we did not spend much time in the house. From sunrise to sunset we spent enjoying the amazing deck/dock structure on the lake. I enjoyed fishing right from the pier while my granddaughter and family enjoyed the private sandy beach. The owners have really made the effort to see that their guests enjoy their stay. We hope to return soon!
