With 14 people in our party we used all the bedrooms. The housekeeping staff missed cleaning the sheets on 2 bedrooms. There were not enough bath towels for everyone. Ice maker in freezer was not working. The washer water connections were backwards, hot was cold and cold was hot which left a lack of hot water available for bathing when washing machine was in use. Backyard grass was not cut. And cracks in between the couch cushions hadnt been cleaned in awhile. Both front porch and back 2 decks needed to be

This property was perfect for our Deep Creek weekend - so close to Wisp, beautiful view of lake, close to plenty of things. The house was cozy and clean and definitely had a cabin/lake house feel. It is spacious enough for a big crew. Parking really is a max of 5 though and there is no easy place to park if you have more than that. We had a wonderful weekend and everything from booking, to checking in, to leaving was so easy. Would definitely look to stay here again!

Friends ski weekend
This property was perfect for our Deep Creek weekend - so close to Wisp, beautiful view of lake, close to plenty of things. The house was cozy and clean and definitely had a cabin/lake house feel. The Treehouse had plenty of space for our family of 15. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Very helpful having two dishwashers with a large family. We made most of our meals due to Social distancing.
There are a lot of steps and the yard is on an incline so no volleyball. We enjoyed the fire pit, and floating in the lake. We rented kayaks and a canoe and went on numerous family floats.
We were disappointed that when we arrived (5pm checkin due to Covid) that the floors had not been cleaned nor the hot tub. However, as soon as we called Taylor-Made they sent someone over. It did cut into our evening. Also there is some need for a little TLC on the property.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and will return to Deep Creek.

The Treehouse had plenty of space for our family of 15. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Very helpful having two dishwashers with a large family. We made most of our meals due to Social distancing.

The Treehouse was a great cabin for the Christmas weekend. Plenty of bedrooms and couches so everyone in our 18 person party was sleeping on some sort of raised surface (bed or couch). Only problem is the pictures are very deceiving, the pictures make the house look very big and spacious inside. When my GPS took me to the house I had to double check I was at the right house because I was not expecting it to look so small in real life. As I went inside and walked around I found the the common areas (family room, basement, and upstairs nook) were pretty small compared to what it looked like in the pictures.

The house was great for us! Eleven adults and two small children, and we had plenty of room. Yard was great with room to play and easy access to lake. Fining table was small for the capacity of the house, we will bring an additional table next year. We ate several dinners out on the deck. One or two mattresses could stand to be replaced. Overall a great property, we are going back next year!

The Tree House is big, well maintained and nicely organized. Though there is a lot of bedrooms there is no community space for more than 4-5 people which was unfortunate for any type of games or group activites. The back porch area is long but just a little too short as well.

Great place for 3 families. Swim/fish/boat off the dock. Loved the log cabin woodsy feel yet updated (built in 2002). Many stairs inside and outside the house. If you bring toddlers you need to bring 2 gates to keep them from going up and down the stairs. Hot tub was nice...a little tight. We enjoyed the fire pit...fires almost every night. Parking right off the highway, dangerous for kids, needs an internal deadbolt to keep 2 year olds from opening the door to the highway. Over all a great place to take a lake vacation!

We have been getting together for a yearly vacation for 15 years. We're a pretty picky group and were very pleased with our stay at The Treehouse. Couple of suggestions: 1. Not much storage space in the kitchen for guest's nonperishable items. I would suggest condensing cabinet items to open up cabinets for guest use. 2. Attach a ladder to the dock/pier for easier access in and out of the lake. 3. Install an umbrella or awning on the upper deck for shade. Overall we loved the house and would recommend this property to others.

The big tree giving the house it's name had just been cut, both top and bottom decks were a mess. A lot of cobwebs. The deck and stairs were extremely slippery after it had rained. There was a huge step to get onto the dock from the bank making it difficult for older people. The basement was freezing while the upstairs was hot. The house had a great location, close to the grocery store convenience stores and marina. Private yard and porches. Parking was very tight for 5 vehicles. Bumpers on trucks are basically on the white line of the road. There was a lot of room for 12 people and we really enjoyed our stay.

Great location and view. House built to be a rental. 6 bedroons with 4 kings very nice. Just need to replace the mattresses which are high quality, however, are aged and saggy. I would still rent again despite the mattress.

The Treehouse was a beautiful and fun home with plenty of space for all 16 of us. It was clean and comfortable with a great layout. It really was like staying in a treehouse. The only drawbacks were that the homes are very close to each other, which you can't tell from the website. And my kids were so disappointed that the paddleboat in the pictures was not there for use. Also, emailed twice in weeks before going with no response. Close to Swallow Tail State Park, which is a must see!

The house was nice, but the pictures depicted a cabin in better condition than in person. In terms of location it was great and close to the slopes. You can tell the cabin has had a lot of rental without good up keep of the property. Items in the house were worn and in need of reconditioning or updating. For example: the hot tub didn't function yet we were told it was just serviced. Clearly not the case. Upon arrival the temp was 44 degrees. The technician came and stated there had been problems with this before. When we spoke to the rental manager after finding out it wasn't going to be fixed she was not very helpful. It was clear from the condition of the hotub that it just needed replaced. Boards were falling off of the outside exposing the motor and wiring. We rent houses each year so we have a good feel for the quality of product available in the Wisp area. For the price there are more up to date and better quality houses.

The Treehouse was a great experience. This was my family's first time spending Christmas away from home. The Ski/snow tubing area was within a 10min walking distance. Skiing was a bit pricey $132 per person. But other than that, everything else was reasonable. We plan to come back and during the summer.
