A nice, comfortable place with a easy access to the beach and lots to see and do in and around the area.

Cottage was comfortable and included all that we needed. We had a very pleasant stay. Wished for better weather so we could sit outside and enjoy the view more. Really lovely area to visit.

We loved this cozy cottage! It has one generous sized room with comfy bed and linens, seating area, TV, kitchen, dining room table and separate bathroom. It is quiet, nestled in a treed area and a short albeit steep walk on good steps down to the water. Eddie was wonderfully helpful and it is a short drive to the Gumboot Cafe in Roberts Creek.

This is an idyllic seaside retreat. The cabin is very clean, perfect for a couple looking for some getaway time. The beach access is a little steep but once down there it has a very zen-like vibe. The owner is super nice, accommodating, and is well respected on the sunshine coast. I HIGHLY recommend this cabin rental.

The cottage is cozy with everything needed available for cooking, relaxing and beach time. There is a great deck at the beach (100 steep steps down) to watch the waves or sunsets. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Hope to visit again.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The cottage was clean and very well appointed, and the beach is very accessible. We loved the area and how close by it is to the restaurant and shops. The hosts were accessible and communication ahead of time was good.

What a joy it was to once again spend time on the glorious SC. Our hosts were gracious, the cottage was even better than the pics, the quiet, the sounds of the birds, the walk down the stairs to the beach - all made our stay so restorative!

Check-in was a breeze. The cottage had a nostalgic rustic character from the outside and was both clean and comfortable on the inside with some great wood furnishings, white linens and was set up with everything you need in a kitchen to eat a good meal, then cosy up by the fire with a book or watch a movie or BBQ on the deck and go for an afternoon kayak. We did all of the above - except watch a movie because there were too many other wonderful things to enjoy and take advantage of. We came to this place to have a getaway for our 6th anniversary. We have 2 boys under 3 1/2 and my husband’s work has been very stressful this year, so we don’t get a lot of restful and peaceful time for just the 2 of us. We loved being able to sit out at the upper patio and watch the sun go down over the water or sip a hot coffee with a book in the morning while breathing in and listening to the ocean beyond and below. There were also bikes available but we brought our own. On our first day we went for a trail run in and around Cliff Gilker Park then finished our run with the steps all the way down to the beach and cooled off with a refreshing dip in the ocean. On our second day we went on a bike ride all the way up and around the Roberts Creek Provincial Park, then had a picnic at the Roberts Creek Picnic Area and enjoyed the beautiful and quiet beach there. When we got back, we each found a good book to read in the cottage and dozed off for a bit of an afternoon nap before taking the kayaks (such a nice free perk) out and getting another perspective of the area and making acquaintance with a few seals as we went for an hour or so paddle north up the coast then back again. Our hosts Eddie and Mariette were very pleasant and easy going. They were easy to talk to and ask a question if you needed anything whether in passing, via text or on the phone. I’m really grateful we found this place. We will definitely consider coming back, if we can get someone to watch our kids again :)

The property was exactly as described. Our hosts were very attentive to our every need ( we didn’t have any). They were friendly and helpful in pointing us to shopping and restaurants. We had a very fun, restful 2 nights celebrating our 50th anniversary. Dinner at Entre Deux Mers in Sechelt was excellent.

Fresh fruit and flowers cut from their garden was a lovely touch! Nice to have a fully equipped kitchen. What hooked me was that they offer their kayaks and bikes to use as well! Great area to kayak along and see all the properties. TONS of starfish in the water just a few feet in. BF was able to go nude, beach and lower deck are so private. The anti-gravity chairs at the lower deck with a fire pit were awesome. I ate as many plump blackberries on their path, on the trips up and down from the beach! The upper deck was so nice for an incredible view while eating. The location was great, between Gibsons and Sechelt, we went to one or the other each night trying new places to eat. It rained a bit when we were there so the Wifi and fireplace were awesome to have! The fold out couch was in front of tv, so was great to lounge on. I LOVED the vintage dressers and kitchen table/chairs!! Only adds I would mention is that the 100 steps to beach are VERY steep, not every person would be able to do them. Also the beach is rocky and not really good for swimming in unless high tide. The tv picture is small, with no netflix ability that I could find. The bed is only a double, but we fit without much squish.

This is a fantastic property to stay at. It offered the solitude we wanted with any needs close by. The cottage is perfect, we stayed for 9 days and had everything we needed. The ability to grill dinner and sit overlooking the bay at sunset can't be beat ! Eddie and Mariette are great hosts. They even came and got us when they noticed whales in the bay so we wouldn't miss out on that experience !

Eddie was attentive and very considerate of our needs. The one room cabin was comfortable with a kitchen well equipped for cooking. The nicest feature was the small deck with a table and chairs. From the deck was a view of Vancouver Island. The cabin is an easy 10 minute walk to Roberts Creek where there is a fine restaurant and coffee shop. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Some travellers have commented about the small bed. We didn’t find it so and it was very comfortable. We will return!!

Peaceful, clean and comfortable accommodations in a great location! We had easy access to the beach from two locations. Golf course, good restaurants and shopping nearby.

For the price and the construction on the grounds of the main house, this was somewhat distracting of the privacy we expected. The cabin had everything we needed. We would have preferred a larger bed, though. We enjoyed Roberts Creek and the ability to walk to a nice restaurant and explore the beach.

We enjoyed three peaceful days in this little one room cottage. Easy access to the beach a few minutes drive away by in both directions. Sadly the path to the private beach was closed due to a mud slide but access to the Owner's lower deck overlooking the water was sublime. It was the perfect spot to sit and watch the seal that came hunting for it's dinner in the late afternoon, and listen to woodpeckers, eagles, robins and gulls. Roberts Creek is close enough for a walk to buy an ice cream or have a meal and stroll out on Roberts Creek pier. You might be lucky enough to spot the otter on the rocks too.

We had a fabulous long weekend stay in this cozy cottage in Roberts Creek. Perfectly suited for two, we enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, gas fire place, comfy seating area, and sun-soaked front deck. As the cabin is small, bedroom, living, and kitchen are all in one room. The cottage is at the back of the property. Fabulous hosts who invited us to use stairs to go down to the beach which we did a number of times. We'd return without hesitation.

My husband and I spent 2 nights in this cozy cottage. It is perfect for a couples getaway. The fresh fruit and flowers made for a nice greeting. The cottage was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Mariette and Eddie made us feel welcomed and were full of area information. We recommend this warm cozy cottage.

Eddie and his wife were very welcoming and happy to give advice and directions to the local towns and shops. Very comfortable accommodation and easy access to great beaches and restaurants. Recommended!

My girlfriend and I had the most relaxing little getaway. We were surprised at how much we could see the ocean from our deck. It was beautiful! The cottage was extremely clean and also very private.
