Our stay at Atlantic Dream was great. The location is amazing, and the house was clean and comfortable. Near great restaurants AND fully equipped to cook at home. Just right for our weekend away at the beach!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Oak Island! The house was perfect for our family (including our 4 yo and 8 yo). It was stocked with all the amenities and the location couldn’t be better! Steps away from the beach, short drive to grocery stores and restaurants. Louann was excellent with communication and keeping us updated with weather changes (we arrived after a recent hurricane) and made sure we were comfortable and welcomed in her home. I wish we could have stayed longer!!! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Our family goes to OKI at least once a year. This is by far the best place we have rented on the island! The location is perfect, great beach access and the cottage was very comfortable! We felt right at home and this is the first place where the kitchen was actually stocked with everything we needed. Louann was awesome from booking to checkout and was the perfect host. We are definitely looking forward to staying at her place in the future.

Super clean, comfortable and convenient - loved this fantastic home to spend our long weekend at the beach! Louann was extremely proactive in her communications and check in & out was a breeze. One of my favorite things about this home was sitting on the back porch in the morning and sipping coffee while listening to the waves and enjoying the beautiful view of endless ocean! Walking from the backyard right onto the beach was extremely easy and convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

The cleanest, most thoughtfully organized home I have ever rented. Every single need we had was met, from the hose to rinse our sandy feet, to a shaded play area, to every possible cooking utensil, to the hose to rinse the salt spray from our car! The back porch has a perfect view of the beach and easy access to the beach. There are too many amenities to list, but everything is there! I will definitely be back!

This was a very nice vacation home. Loved the dune blocking the people on the beach- sitting on the back patio all you can see is ocean for miles.. without the noise from the beach. House had many amenities…. However, make sure you make plans for food. There is no grill provided, only one rack in the oven they allow you to use, and a microwave… so plan meals accordingly or dine out. Home was comfortable, and was so easy to walk out back door and get to the beach. They had all the beach chairs, toys, boogie boards you could ever wish to use.
Oak island was a far better island than others I’ve visited. Food options were plentiful, but it seemed a little less touristy and party-like than Carolina Beach or Kure beach. I would definitely go back.

The house is perfectly equipped for a family with kids. It will probably take you longer to put your bathing suit on than it will to go from door step to beach… Plenty of local places to eat… Barely knew that the neighbors were there…. We had a blast! Also very reasonably priced

This was our second stay in the house and it was just as wonderful as the first stay. I cannot recommend Louann and her fantastic home enough. Always clean and always ready to welcome us. We are already counting down to the next time!

It was our second time to stay at Atlantic Dream and we will go for a third, fourth and more! House is immaculate and every kitchen tool and appliance provided. Couldn’t be closer to the beach!

This property was exactly as advertised though the owners added a few special touches. It was clean, functional, had a well stocked kitchen and was sized perfectly for my family of 6. The outdoor shower and hoses were super convenient. The sunsets and moonrises were spectacular! I have to admit I never saw a sunrise!

This property is all you could ask for and more. We have been to Oak Island several times and this is the nicest property we have rented, by far. It is very clean, which is the most important thing to me. It is well stocked with all kitchen utensils, appliances, pots, pans and dishes for every need. Not to mention the house is only steps from the beach! The owner is so nice and is very easy to work with and makes sure your stay is a comfortable one. We will definitely stay here again!

Atlantic Dreaming
We had an outstanding week at Atlantic Dream! The house was at a perfect location with easy access to a recently restored beach with plenty of room to spread out, even over a holiday weekend. Louann was an excellent host and provided us with lots of information on local restaurants and attractions which came in handy given it was our first time on Oak Island.
If you’re looking for a high quality oceanfront house that feels like home without having to pay for 6 or 7 bedrooms this is the place for you!

We arrived to a wonderfully clean and lovely scented home. Everything was all ready for us (and early, too!). The owner texted exactly on time with our keypad code and checked in via text a few hours after we were able to unpack and settle in. The home was very well furnished, the ends were incredibly comfortable, the bathrooms were well cared for and immaculate, and the porch was suited with several chairs for gazing at the beach. We loved our stay so much! There is absolutely nothing I would suggest to have made our stay better accommodated. Fantastic experiences with the owner and Oak Island.

Very comfortable and cozy home right on the beach. House was very clean and well equipped with everything you should need for a great vacation. Great house on a lovely island
It was our first visit to Oak Island and won’t be our last! So thankful to have chosen this house. It was perfect. The kitchen and appliances were clean and nice and provided everything we needed to have fresh home cooked seafood every night - while watching the ocean out the window!
