The house is so cute. It feels larger inside than it looks from the outside. It's spotless and is decorated to feel homey and cozy. It was perfect for our needs. Just a short drive to the city. There's a back deck to sit and relax and listen to the birds. We loved it!

Wife and I used this home as a get-a-way to explore Weston, MO and the surrounding area. It's very conveniently located to I-435 and the airport. The home is cozy and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and everything worked great. The interior looks very new and well done. Would definitely stay here again.

From the time I entered the home until I left, the home was cozy and welcoming. The home was beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything needed for my stay. The beds were comfortable as were all the furniture. It was an all around most enjoyable experience.

Stayed close to airport so college son could fly in for Thanksgiving with other adult children located in KC. Kitchen had all we needed to host 7 people and prepare meal entirely from scratch. Many grocery options close by. House clean and had board games and TV for after meal. Pleasant view out kitchen window of wildlife and prairie grasses. Color scheme and decor well done.

We had a great time at this location. It was clean, cozy, and perfect for our stay. Every thing from booking, to staying, to checking out was smooth and easy. We would highly recommend this property for a KC getaway.

The good - darling home, well appointed and lots of extras. We were familiar with the area as we were moving so we used it for home base. The bad - we had to wait an hour to get in as there was a problem with the keypad. The house smelled very musty. We opened the windows and made due (our fault) because our plate was so full. We reported these issues to the owner upon our departure and she said they would be addressed. The owner was very responsive when we had problems getting into the house.

This little gem was the perfect stay for us as we celebrated our son getting married. We had family stay with us and enjoyed the homey feel of this place. We would definitely recommend staying here. Close to the airport and a lot of things to do around the area. We felt like we were in our own home. This house had everything and more that we needed.

This was a perfect spot for our stay. There was nothing lacking here. Loved the immaculate condition. Great place to just relax and enjoy being away. Inside and out. Loved that I could come home with no laundry to do because I could do it there. Kitchen well supplied for cooking. Comfortable in every area. We may return in the spring and will definitely choose this spot again.

We had a last minute cancellation of our accommodation for a weekend getaway with our family and Tammie was very accommodating to allow us to stay at very short notice. Everything was clean and well stocked. It’s a little far north but we found it easy enough to still get anywhere we wanted to be. We’ll definitely stay there again!

We loved staying here! It was close to the interstate but also tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We really liked the area with shops, restaurants, etc that was a quick 5 minute drive. The house was beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed and plenty of extras in case we forgot something. The owner was kind and attentive. She answered very quickly if we texted her. The check in/out process was easy and smooth. We will stay here again in the future and recommend others stay here, too! We didn’t mind the drive down to the places we wanted to visit. It was 20-30 minutes in the car. We liked being able to leave the noisy city area and come back to the quiet countryside to relax.

This house was wonderful! It was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. It had everything you could ever need in the kitchen. The pictures you see are exactly what it looks like. We will definitely be back next summer!

We stayed for a long weekend exploring the Kansas City area. The house is cute, cozy, clean, beautifully decorated and a perfect place to come home to. The beds are comfortable and everything we needed was provided. We would definitely come back next time we're in the area.

I was traveling back to Missouri for my dads funeral service and looking for a place close to family, the airport and service location. I came across Tammie’s property which was perfect. The house was located in a quiet area out of the city. We enjoyed everything about the house. We felt right at home. I especially would like to thank Tammie for allowing us to check in early as we had a long travel day and were exhausted. I would highly recommend this cozy home away from home.

The house was unbelievably decorated and remodeled nicely. All the appliances worked and were modern. There was plenty of parking and getting there from the interstate was easy. The owner was very accommodating to our needs and helped us make our skiing lessons on time. We would definitely stay here again.

I can't say enough wonderful things about The Little Gem! The home is just as perfect as the pictures and Tammie and Lamar are the best! This little house is nestled in the countryside but only 3-4 minutes from any shopping you could want to do. Oh and the airport is only 5 minutes away as well. I plan to stay here again when I come back to KC to visit my son!! I promise you will not regret booking this lovely home!

The property was nicely appointed and decorated. Loved the colors and it was a great size for us.
One negative, the sewer smell in the bathroom was at times overwhelming. We noticed the host put a scent plug in that we’re sure helped somewhat.
One suggestion, shower gel. The host had shampoos, conditioners, body lotions and toilet paper though. Laundry pods, dryer sheets, dish soap, dishwasher pods, and coffees were provided, too!
I would recommend this place especially if the sewer smell was taken care of.

My family and I stayed at the little gem for the weekend as a little mini vacation from doodah Ks and we were surprised how awesome tammy’s home was. This home gives a great farmhouse feel inside and out, your on the out side of town with no city noise and abeautiful view of the stars. Next time we are in town we hope the house is available.
