La cucina ha tutto il necessario per preparare i pasti, tra cui frigorifero completo, piano cottura elettrico, forno a microonde e piccoli elettrodomestici in generale, come caffettiera, frullatore, tostapane, ecc.

The condo was clean and had all the basics. Diego was awesome. He checked on us daily, responded to a small maintenance issue immediately and resolved it. Assisted us with getting water. The pool was clean and refreshing. La veleta is at the very southern part of Tulum central. We rented bikes for ten days and used them to get everywhere. 40 minutes to the beach on a bike. 20 into town. We felt safe biking and walking in the area. We enjoyed our stay.

The place is somewhat dilapidated, not like in the pictures (paint is chipping on the balconies). The property manager, Mr. Vargas, was not there (I think he was back in the USA) and had others "managing" the property on his behalf, but very inconsistently. First, he disabled the inbox from Vrbo, which made it impossible to communicate with him on the site (and document the various issues we had), we had to communicate via Whatsapp. Second, it was confusing to find the place. Third, he gave us the wrong key for one of our guests. Fourth, the water pressure didn't work well in either of the two bathroom toilets, as they would not flush (we had to fill the toilet tanks using pots filled with water multiple times each time we wanted the toilets to flush); this took over 4 days to be addressed and it only was addressed after we got on the phone and called Vrbo. Fifth, there were no lights by the poolside (or main entrance!), and we were given the runaround about this for the entirety of our stay. This meant we could not use the pool once the sun went down. It is Winter in Mexico, so from 6 pm onward we could not be outside by the pool because it was pitched dark; the neighborhood of La Veleta is literally in the middle of the jungle. Sixth, on the very last day, Mr. Vargas, sends us a check-out message with instructions for check-out, through the Vrbo inbox, which he had before disabled, right AFTER we had checked out the property. We did not have any checkout instructions until after we had checked out of the property. This was not a relaxing time, as we had to be on top of the management, and miss tours just to be present for them to come and fix the toilet water pressure issue. Very inconvenient.

Hidden away in the heart of Tulum. Great pool for swimming laps. Safe . We took multiple walks around the streets adjacent to the condo without fear of crime. quiet air conditioners. Hot showers. Lots of good restaurants close by. Private

Christmas in Tulum
We had a great stay here. The place was clean and as advertised. The only issue we had was finding it! Almost all of our taxi drivers struggled, our transport company USA Transfers couldn’t find it on the way in or out.. otherwise Juan and Wendy were helpful and we enjoyed our time in Tulum. We will be back. A little bit better signage would help. It was however our first time in the area. Thanks again!

My family and I stay for 4 days..It was 4 days of relax .. this unit is in very good condition..the porch is big and the a/c units cool very fast..the pool is big and clean ..

I check previous reviews and one said the unit is dangerous..Im a licensed electrician and I look for the problems they mention and there is no issues or no grounding..

Place is in quiet part on the edge of the city, but just couple minutes by car or taxi from all restaurants and shops (you can also use bikes parked on patio, if you don't have a car). If you like fishes you should to try El Captain restaurant.
We have some issue with lock, so we call number which gave us and they sent somebody to fix it i 5 min.

I rented this condo from March 24-April 2, 2016. I received electrical shocks when I turned the water off and on in the kitchen and in my bathroom, in both the sink and shower. This was a problem Thursday, the day I arrived. The electrical shocks continued and got stronger each day. I first reported the problem to Paulina on Friday. Four days later an electrician was called to fix the problem. Paulina showed me a photo of a bare electrical wire that was in contact with the copper pipe. Six days of electrical shocks in the bathroom and kitchen was unsafe to say the least. I requested a refund for five nights of the nine nights I stayed in the condo. The owner, Juan Vargas refused to give me a refund and told me that it was fairly typical for people to receive electrical shocks while using water in developing countries. I have travel in developing countries in Central America, South America and Africa staying in basic hostels and homes of local people. I NEVER had problems with electrical shocks while using water. The conditions in Juan’s condo were very dangerous, and I advise you not to rent this condo.

The apartment was just as described and the photos are completely accurate. Paulina made us feel very welcome and helped us with everything we needed. She even help us hire someone who cooked us delicious meals everyday which was just perfect. We had a great and beautiful vacation.

Kid-friendly, convenient to town but quiet, too
This is a charming, very well kept condo, walking distance or biking distance from town, but secluded in a quiet area with plenty of privacy. Pool is located right off of this condo's patio. Great for parents who want to allow their kids to swim, but need to stay close. The property is very well tended, and beautifully landscaped. Rooms are decent sized, kitchen and dining area open. Great place and we will be back for sure.
