Situato a 20 miglia a sud della migliore città del mondo - Boston - e 20 miglia a nord di Plymouth Rock, un gioiello storico - è una camera con vista arredata con un letto Murphy queen size, frigorifero, micro, tostapane, Keurig Coffee maker , tv e internet ad alta velocità. Godetevi la vista della mia comunità impressionante dal mazzo! Nelle vicinanze si trova Wamputuck State Park, uno di una manciata di splendide passeggiate, sentieri escursionistici. Il fogliame in autunno è stupefacente! Questa è una casa di 3 piani. Ospite risiede al primo piano. Il mio cucciolo e io viviamo molto tranquillamente ai piani superiori.

Marj and the puppies, Simon and Max were lovely hosts!!! Very quiet fishing town. Walk to the lighthouse and short walk to quaint shops/eateries. Across the street from the coast we saw beautiful sunrises and windsurfers. We went to cape cod one day, Salem, and visit our son 40 minutes away. I would stay again(and kidnap Max!💕)

Instead of staying for 3 weeks with relatives, we chose to stay at Marj's VRBO. This location is wonderful - walking to beaches/lighthouse, close to the harbor restaurants and shops.
It has everything you need for a visit. And if you need area advice, Marj is extremely knowledgeable. She's a fabulous host! Simon and Max are adorable doggie hosts, too!
Lying in bed listening to the ocean waves is great!

We wanted to visit the historic sites in and around Boston to Cape Cod. So we were looking for a place in between and found this beautiful place in Scituate. Our host was fascinating, exciting to talk to and get information on the town and surrounding area. We could not of found a better place. Highly recommend!!

My husband and thoroughly enjoyed our little oasis by the ocean. So relaxing to sit ,stare and listen to the waves as they came in. My kind of place. Marj and her little fur friends Max and Simon topped the stay by being ever so sweet to greet us with a wag of a tail and allowing me to gush over them. I think even Bill was smitten by the little guys. The booking here was definitely worthwhile!
Marj goes out of her way to see that you have everything to make your visit comfortable and inviting. A pleasant stay and a place I'd love to go back to. Thanks Marj, Simon and Max!

This was such a wonderful vacation…Marj was an amazing host and the location and view were great. I left the window cracked every night so I could hear the ocean (which is literally across the street!!) and there was a lovely front porch/sitting area that was shaded most of the day and a perfect place to sit and read while also watching the waves go in and out.
Scituate is a lovely town, and definitely do not miss the bakery! The lighthouse is also a wonderful spot, and it’s a great place to walk to in the evening or early morning while the sun is rising or setting.
Marj was such a wonderful host, and she had some great suggestions for where to go in the area.
I was hoping to have a vacation where I could eat delicious seafood, read a lot of books, and enjoy the ocean; this was exactly what I wanted!
Could not recommend more…I honestly hope to go back again.

Charming and peaceful
This stay was exactly what the soul needed. Time both slowed down and seemed to fly by (the check out date came TOO SOON). The location is perfect for walks to the lighthouse, or into Scituate's charming village. Both Marj and her canine charges were perfect hosts!

A perfect efficiency studio with an excellent location. Also, We enjoyed our host and her beautiful art as much as the ocean which is right across the street. It was a hop, skip and a jump out of Boston yet it felt like we were a world away. Loved our stay so much!

Sometimes the host makes all the difference, and this host was the nicest, most accommodating and friendliest person we have ever stayed with! She made us feel immediately at home, and made sure we weren't lacking for anything we needed! The view of the ocean from the porch was fantastic, and the neighborhood was great to walk in!

Sometimes the host makes all the difference, and this host was the nicest, most accommodating and friendliest person we have ever stayed with! Scituate getaway
We came for a week to use as a base for visiting family and friends. Marj the host was very accommodating and place clean. The picture was deceiving as we thought the rental was in the cottage next to lighthouse, but actually down the block.

Property is as described. My husband found the Murphy bed to be very uncomfortable. Whichever one of us on the wall side had difficulty climbing in and out of the bed. Although the lack of privacy is not something we are accustomed to in rentals, we ‘co-habituated’ successfully with Marj and Simon!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed using Marj’s kayaks and her recommendations for places to try out for food and drinks. I also loved that Marj let me bring my small dog. We would love to come back someday!

Marj’s place was great. As advertised, it is small, but it has everything you need for a beach vacation. Marj was a very accommodating host and wants her guests to be as comfortable as possible. The property is within walking distance to the beach and just a short drive to the town for restaurants and any other needs. My boyfriend and I enjoyed using Marj’s kayaks and her recommendations for places to try out for food and drinks. I also loved that Marj let me bring my small dog. We would love to come back someday!

Great room and company
I stayed with Marj and her friendly pup Simon to be in Scituate for a stay to see friends and family. The location is spectacular, as is Marj. She did everything possible to make my son and me comfortable. A great find!!

Time with my granddaughter
My granddaughter and I had a lovely stay at Marj’s. She was the perfect host, and in the perfect spot for our beach getaway. My granddaughter was busy biking to the beach, climbing the rocks at the lighthouse, and playing at the beach for hours on end. The harbor town was close by and easy to get takeout and delivery from the restaurants. Nona’s ice cream was visited frequently! We had a great time in Situate. Just what we were looking for.

Wonderful Stay
Marj and her furry friend, Simon, were a joy to meet and stay with on our 40th wedding anniversary celebration. Marj was awaiting our arrival and it was a joy to share so many things in common. After this time, Marj was present in her home and would have been ready and willing to answer any question or need, but she respectfully did not invade our privacy at all. She stayed on the 3rd floor and we were on the first floor. We did not even see her. Because we were only there for an extanded weekend our getaway was very precious to us and she was sensitive to that. I LOVED that I could see the ocean from our window and we could hear the waves as we laid down to go to sleep. We would rent from Marj again. She was the perfect hostess and little SImon was very warm and welcoming!

Excellent vacation beyond our expectations!
The property is in an excellent location to enjoy all that Scituate has to offer. Marj was easy to contact, and willing to help with all aspects of our stay. Excellent experience from beginning to end! We would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

Marj and Simon are lovely
We enjoyed our stay with Marj and her dog Simon. The room is clean and we loved waking up to the sound of waves. The Murphy bed is comfortable. The closet has plenty of room for your stuff. Marj and Simon are both welcoming, gracious hosts and we truly enjoyed being able to share their little slice of heaven.

Do NOT stay here. Refused to refund booking -she gave our room away
I would not know about any of the details of the rental because the owner - Marj rented the first night of our trip to her current guest before we arrived. Forcing us to pay for a 2nd hotel room elsewhere. She refused to refund the money we had paid for the night.
Marj then requested we not stay the 2nd night of our paid booking. Promising she would refund the money. She never sent the promised refund. Just FYi VRBO doesn’t guarantee mixup that a owner creates.

Lighthouse
That's such fake ad. The actual house is 8-10 houses away from the nonfunctioning lighthouse. There is a little tiny beach around the lighthouse with huge rocks. It's definitely not worthy for your time and money. I paid for two nights but only stayed for two hours.

Ocean escape
From start to end it was a great experience. The place was right across street from ocean and not far from a beautiful lighthouse. Room we rented was small but cozy, and just enough for what we needed. The balcony/deck was perfect for watching the ocean and reading. Simon the dog, was adorable. Coffee and snacks were available in room. Marj is sweet and a wonderful hostess. Great communication!!

Little slice of heaven
Marj was a wonderful host! The place is located in a nice area, great for walking our dog. We arrived late and appreciated the snacks that she had for us. Loved waking up to an ocean view every morning.

First, Marj is a great, lovely and caring host.
I mainly went there to sleep after exploring Boston though.
The room has everything one would need for a short stay including coffee, microwave, fridge, etc., Including adjacent bath, accessible from Marj's workshop.
There is no real free WiFi though, it's Xfinity and you can get once 30min per device, or if you have you can use your own account. Was little difficult to work remotely this way.
Scituate is a nice little town with restaurants and coffee shops, beach and harbor.
It's a little distance to the T red line and the last three stations were bus shuttle due to construction - recommend target Quincy North.
