It was a perfect house for our mixed age group. It was a first time visit for most of the group and it was a great success. The teens had great independence for access to the “town”. The adults had excellent lounging in the family room. The kitchen was well stocked and is recently renovated. All in all I recommend it to all.

Great house, plenty of room to host family & spread out for the holidays. Walk to town, candy store & restaurants.
Upstairs bedroom were a bit cold even with the heat on but overall house was perfect.!
Jamie was in contact with me throughout the stay.
Fun had by all!

We had a fabulous stay at 40 Ocean. The location and accommodation was perfect for our large family gathering. We had a blast and there was plenty of space for all of us to gather as a group or to find our own quiet spaces in this lovely home.

Excellent house/ location for family getaway inclusive of grandparents and children. House is clean and well appointed. The layout works well to offer space for everyone and areas for the kids to play. The carriage house was a terrific spot for a movie night and board games. Convenient walking location to town for ice cream or to watch the boats and a short drive to beach. Will stay again.

I'm sure it's gorgeous in all seasons but this was such a lovely getaway for the winter. The house is really beautifully laid out, well appointed and perfect for children in how things are situated in terms of the rooms, the furniture and having lots of clear space for them to play around on the floor with their games and toys without disturbing the set up. It's also a great location for a group because you are basically in town so people can be really independent and just walk in as they want to shop, pick things up, eat etc. Even though we were there in winter there were plenty of food options and we took beautiful long walks every day around the different beaches and preserves. Such a lovely place -- perfect for families, kids and for the off season (as well Im sure as the high season).

This is a pretty house located very close to the town center of Kennebunkport. We were able to walk everywhere - shopping, restaurants, etc. The house is a nicely redone historic home and is quite comfortable. The only problem was that they have stopped providing bath soap & shampoo due to Covid, which was a surprise to us. You may want to bring your own TP as well, since they only provided one roll per bathroom and would not bring any more.

This is a pretty house located very close to the town center of Kennebunkport. We were able to walk everywhere - shopping, restaurants, etc. The house is a nicely redone historic home and is quite comfortable. The only problem was that they have stopped providing bath soap & shampoo due to Covid, which was a surprise to us. This house was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. We will stay here again. House was very well appointed and had many modern conveniences. This is the perfect New England house within steps of Kennebunkport’s town center. House is modernized, but retains its historic charm. Comfortable beds, nice, modern baths cute decor. Will definitely stay there again!

Perfect stay in Kennebunkport
This is a lovely home with a separate cottage situated adjacent to Dock Square. It was perfect for our family of 3 generations attending my nephew’s wedding. Kitchen is very well appointed with cookware and serve ware adequate for a large group. We loved our stay!!

Kennebunkport Magic!
Absolutely loved the location and set up of this property. Short bike ride to Colonial Beach and short drive to all other beaches. The property had great separation of living space to bedrooms which was perfect for sleeping babies. It was also a one minute walk from all the shops and restaurants. We had a magical week and hope to visit again! ❤️

This property was not only beautiful, but very spacious - plenty of places to hang out, both indoor and outdoors. Walk to town, and to the beach. Can't say enough about this property and the management service! They were very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

An amazing home right in be heart of Kennebunport
This house is spacious, light-guile’s and welcoming. It was the perfect place for our family to be together. There was plenty of space to cook, dine together and just relax. There are beatiful paintings in the home by the artist who once resided there. Washer and dryer are a nice addition. We enjoyed the quick walk into town as well as.

Beautiful Home
This house was great! It was decorated just as I'd expect a Maine house to be decorated, and the kitchen was equipped with all we needed to do a lobster boil for 10. It's proximity to town was perfect - it let us easily walk to dinner out, and gave the group flexibility to do their own thing. It was also close to our boat charter, and an easy enough walk to the beach! The kitchen was great for dinner and games (although a tight squeeze for 10, perfect for 8), and the cottage was a great place to watch the football game with all 10 of us! The house was in a great area, but still felt private. I thought the beds were a tad uncomfortable, but it wouldn't deter me from staying there again.

Wonderful location!
Excellent location! This home is close to all the shops. It has all of the necessary amenities. I would say the only downside would be several of the beds were small and uncomfortable. Overall we loved the house & would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Best Location and House
This house is located in the perfect location and just a few feet from Dock Square. We loved waking up each morning to walk to town for a bite to each. The home is stunning and very confortable. The guest cottage is a beautiful work of craftmanship

Highly recommend this house. 10 of us stayed and had plenty of room. I knew before we went that it was basically IN Dock Square and we were at a different restaurant every night (outside at Arundel Wharf across the street was one of my favorite nights) but also turned out we loved walking to the beach down Ocean Ave - it's only about 10 minutes.
Also GREAT kitchen, another night we did surf n turf- had a cookout on the lawn and there's a lobster cornhole board in the cottage we broke out. We got a stunning sunny Maine week! Plus- also recommend picking up lobsters from Mabel's down the street and doing a lobster night.
We also walked to Coastal Maine Kayak one day, and they transport you to the kayak points whatever what trip you pick- thumbs up for that too.
If you have a big group, take the cottage. We spent a couple nights just hanging out in its main room, it has a high ceiling and a cozy feel. I kept thinking I'd love to be back there in the fall/winter, it feels like a lodge with a big fireplace. Cottage also has a small kitchen, we had early risers in there and they were always already up with coffee.
This house is new, comfortable, and good for a group, we had a several couples. My fiance had to work a little, there's a front office room in the house and it gave us a chance to have lots of space in a large group while also room to hang out together.

Kennebunkport Delight
What a splendid surprise to find such a roomy comfortable home with attached cottage so close to the wonderful downtown restaurants and shops. The main house is roomy with nice, comfortable furnishings including many original paintings by the original owner, Roger Deering, a well-known Maine artist. Clearly, the home underwent a major remodeling job recently as the kitchen and baths are all new and first rate. Unlike many rental properties in Maine, this one has new Mitsubishi air conditioning/heat pumps for those surprising hot evenings that happen from time to time. The guest cottage is older and charming with its honey colored paneling, gas fireplace and small kitchen. Not sure how many you could sleep comfortably in this property but 8-12 would be no problem. Nice outdoor patio with grill is useful and there are places for at least 4 cars. Ocean avenue is just across the street from an inlet and this home is only about a mile walk to the Bush Family compound on Walker's Point. We even saw George and Barbara downtown for some sort of civic event. We will definitely want to come back to this great home. All bedrooms are upstairs in both houses so guests must be able to climb a flight of stairs.

Great Place to Stay for a Nice but Chill vacation!
It was a great vacation spot for my friends and I! What distinguishes this property from others is the nice cabin right by the main home. The main house has a nice marine interior and is a great spot to feel the Kennebunkport atmosphere. I was especially a fan of the Roger Deering art pieces that I could see all over the house. Another love I had for the house was the cabin! It has its own rustic beauty but all the appliances and furniture were new and the space was also very cozy. We loved watching movies with drinks in the cabin! We were very worried in the beginning because we were a big party of 9, but we had tons of space and everyone were able to sleep comfortably. I want to come back here for sure!!!

This is a great location and beautiful property. Our group of friends had a wonderful week exploring Kennebunkport. The kids loved spending time together in the cottage. It is close to all the restaurants and activities in the area. We recommend this home highly.
