This is sure expensive but it was great! The pool and not tub were so clean and warm. Beach access with the best snorkeling spot on this side. Great kitchen with so many supplies to help cook. Washer and drier could use replaced. Couch bed broke but they had 2 twin air mattresses which was nice. Overall great stay.

Overall the property was pretty nice, in a nice spot, however this particular unit had some maintenance issues, some of these were resolved at the time of the rental, others remained. The maintenance team was responsive, but I spent more time dealing with things than I would have liked on vacation.Postives:1) The equipment storage closet was nice and well stocked. 2) The unit is in a good location on the property and quiet.3) Kitchen is a good way to save some money on vacation.Issues:1) AC in the unit is terrible. We spent our first night in a warm, and very humid unit. The maintenance guy came out and replaced the thermostat, which helped some, however the front rooms never really cooled off (probably 80 degrees) even with that repair. 2) Washing machine would not drain properly and was effectively non-functional for our time at the property. This was a big reason we chose the property, and a big disappointment.3) Sofa bed was broken. It had been broken long enough to print out a laminated card indicating as such, instead of just replacing the broken sofa. Air beds were provided, but air beds are not a replacement for a sofa bed. This was another reason we chose the property.4) The unit smelled of sewer gas on arrival. I tracked it down to a dry p-trap where the hot water overflow pan/safety valve would drain in the closet. I put a few cups of water down the drain and that corrected the issue. Not a huge issue, but indicative of general upkeep.5) Safe was locked and non-functional. The property management team did offer to replace, but another maintenance issue.6) Shower head in the bathroom was leaking and spraying out, this issue was resolved the first morning.

Well equipped kitchen (we cooked-in most meals), ice maker, big family dining table. Had convenient option to swim in ocean at beach (is safe due to reef that keeps waves small) or very nice pool w/ adjoining hot tub. Kids loved it and spent many hours swimming and making friends. Parents & grandparents loved it because pool does not encourage rowdy behavior, and kids were always in sight. Clean shared gas grills for cooking local fresh seafood & steaks. Very well equipped storage closet with various sizes snorkling gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards & kids toys. Walked beaches everyday at dawn. Groceries short 10-15min drive either direction on main road.
Complaints - fold-out bed couch is unusable...it is so destroyed that it is uncomfortable to sit on, let alone sleep on. A laminated sign was left telling us to "...not open the hide-a-bed..." because it cannot be properly folded back into place. Really should be fixed asap. This really detracted from our stay.
The kitchen faucet had been abused and was not functioning properly. Couldn't switch between shower and stream modes, and on/off handle was falling apart...had to call mgmt to get it fixed day 1, which they did promptly.
Marked down cleanliness to 3 stars due to encountering hair from previous occupants several times over our stay.

I’d come back here in a heartbeat. We traveled with infant twins and a 3 year old and knew we needed a place that had quick access to a beach and pool that could also house all of us comfortably. This place was it. We were also able to easily eat at Turtle Bay restaurants and explore the northern part of Hawaii that not merely Haleiwa.When we got there, a pack n play was missing; they were able to accommodate immediately as well. Great communication before and during my stay.

The Villas at Turtle Bay lived up to the advanced billing. The villa was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. Management was easy to reach and attentive. We loved the resort bar overlooking the ocean and eating at Alaia and the Beach House. Surf lessons, birding, sunset horse ride, and massage at the resort were superb. Tons of other on-site options. Visits to Pearl Harbor, submarine museum, Waikiki Beach, Dole Pineapple Plantation, Waimea gardens, and Haleiwa were special. All of our experiences both on- and off-site were positive.

We spent five nights without one single problem! The unit is very clean, comfortable and stocked with anything we could possibly need for the beach, kitchen or relaxing. We typically rent on vacations and never had it go so smoothly and honestly well decorated and comfortable.
We spent a lot of time snorkeling and reef exploring and had several meals at the resort. Roy's on the beach was the most fun with great cocktails! We definitely preferred the quiet of Hidden Beach and sunsets by the stables. They was also more marine life including many sea turtles away from the resort. We also walk the trails which was great exercise, view, historic placards along they way and even a monk seal sighting at the far northern tip!
There seemed to be a lot of families with small children enjoying the pool and spa, so we didn't use them but they looked very well maintained.
A great spot & we would definitely stay again.

Second time in a penthouse level villa. First time about 4 years ago. Had an enjoyable time. The whole vibe at the villas is total relaxation. You can forget about the hustle and bustle of town and the hassle of driving an hour to get there! We enjoy the location and the villas are clean, well furnished, and well maintained. The kids enjoyed the large grass area to play football when they weren't swimming in the lagoon or the pool! Overall a very good value for a family weekend staycation at an ocean side resort,

We had such a great time. The condo was perfect for us. Loved the easy beach access and the pool and hot tub. We ended up traveling down to the southern part of the island on multiple days, but we’re still glad we stayed up north where it’s a bit quieter.

Villa 309 was perfect. It was unbelievably clean (even the inside of the fridge!) and was very roomy. The beds were all really comfy, and we loved that beach towels were provided as well as snorkeling gear (including fins!) and beach chairs. The beach is just steps away, and the pool with its comfy cabana-style chaise lounges was wonderful.There are so many places nearby for food (within ten minutes' drive), and we can say that the plate lunches at Ted's Bakery are yummy and you may as well get pastries while you're there!If you don't want to get in a car, the restaurants and the sunset bar at the adjacent hotel are really good. We loved sitting in the outdoor bar and watching the sun go down - it made for some great pictures!I honestly cannot think of anything negative about this villa. My friends and I all agreed that we'd definitely go back again.

Villa 309 was perfect. It was unbelievably clean (even the inside of the fridge!) and was very roomy. The beds were all really comfy, and we loved that beach towels were provided as well as snorkeling gear (including fins!) and beach chairs. The beach is just steps away, and the pool with its comfy cabana-style chaise lounges was wonderful.There are so many places nearby for food (within ten minutes' drive), and we can say that the plate lunches at Ted's Bakery are yummy and you may as well get pastries while you're there!If you don't want to get in a car, the restaurants and the sunset bar at the adjacent hotel are really good. We loved sitting in the outdoor bar and watching the sun go down - it made for some great pictures!I honestly cannot think of anything negative about this villa. My friends and I all agreed that we'd definitely go back again.

We had a wonderful vacation! We loved how close the villa was to the beach and the property was beautiful. The villa was roomy and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. We especially loved having all the beach items to use that are in the locker on the bottom floor! Our only complaint was not being able to use the main hotel's amenities. Mainly the gym and their pool at the Turtle Bay hotel.

I've always wanted to go to Hawaii and never made it there for one reason or another. This year I treated my children and myself to a well-deserved trip and the vacation was exactly what I had built it up in my mind to be. The hotel was wonderful and the beaches immaculate. I'll definitely be a return guest...thank you!!
