La camera da letto principale ha un letto king size, le altre sono arredate con un letto matrimoniale, 2 letti singoli e una camera da letto extra large con 2 doppie. La casa può ospitare comodamente 10 persone. Gli spazi interni presentano opere d'arte originali, arredi unici e la cucina è dotata di elettrodomestici e pentole quasi nuovi. Situata in seconda fila, la spiaggia è a pochi passi. Sulla spaziosa veranda, gli ospiti possono godere di vista sull'oceano, brezze fresche e tramonti incantevoli. E la migliore lettura di pisolini / libri al mondo si trova mentre si è sdraiati sul letto sospeso della veranda. C'è anche un ampio portico schermato laterale, ponte posteriore e doccia esterna.
Quando non sei sull'ampia spiaggia di sabbia soffice (meno di tre minuti a piedi), goditi le attrazioni vicine come andare in bicicletta in varie parti di Bogue Island, visitare lo storico Fort Macon State Park, fare escursioni in barca (o la tua barca) a Cape Allerta National Seashore and Lighthouse e altre isole vicine, vedendo concerti settimanali a Fort Macon, visitando la città coloniale di Beaufort e i suoi paesaggi e ristoranti sul lungomare, l'Acquario NC, i ristoranti e la vita notturna di Morehead City, assaporando un drink al tramonto presso il bar situato presso la fine del vicino molo di pesca Oceana che offre una vista panoramica della costa o attività acquatiche tra cui kayak, canoa e surf.

This property is as gorgeous and comfortable as the pictures show. It truly has an upscale, classic beach feel. There are three ensuites – the bedroom on the first floor can be converted to an ensuite using the pocket doors.
It's not oceanfront but does have an ocean view from the front porch. There is plenty of parking – which seems to be at a premium in this neighborhood.
Hannah, the owner, was overseas during our stay but was very proactive, making the check-in process extraordinarily easy. She was just a text away if there were any problems - which there wasn't.
I highly recommend staying there.

I can’t say enough positive things about this property. It is spacious, lovely decorated, clean, well maintained, nice location with prime access to a vey pretty beach. We had everything we needed and I hope to return!

We stayed for a wedding and loved everything about our stay! It is completely perfect in every way, everyone was so so happy and we were grateful to have such a beautiful, comfortable place to stay! Hope to come back:-)

Our family had a wonderful vacation at the beach. The location could not have been better with the ocean access across the street. The house was clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed spending time on the porches. Thank you Hannah!

VERY nice house with just the right amount of supplies (such as in the kitchen). Very nice deck areas and great privacy in individual bedrooms and bathrooms. All members of our group of 7 loved the house and its location.The owners made every step of the stay very easy and pleasant. Thank you Hannah!

My family and I stayed in this lovely home this past weekend. We loved everything about the house. The porches are amazing, we ate diner on the screened in porch and drank our coffee on the front porch each morning. The kitchen is well stocked and we had everything we needed to be able to relax and enjoy the stay. We will definitely book again.

Excellent beach house
Beautiful home for our annual family vacation. This house is lovely and the location to the beach is excellent. The owner is a quick communicator. This is our second stay at this property.

Fishing trip
We rented this house as we booked a fishing trip out of Morehead City. The location was a perfect combination for proximity to the beach and a short drive to the docks. Loved it!

The property does have several sets of stairs but that is well documented in the property pictures. We loved the property and would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Atlantic Beach.

This is a wonderful beach property that is very close to water but also is convenient to grocery stores and other shopping. The home is large and spacious which gave us plenty of room to spread out. The property does have several sets of stairs but that is well documented in the property pictures. We loved the property and would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Atlantic Beach.

The front porch is the perfect place for morning coffee or afternoon drinks. Enjoyed the bikes and beach chairs as well along with the porch swinging bed. Great for naps. You can tell that the owners take a lot of pride in their home. It’s beautiful and has lots of personalized decorations. The house feels homey and every room has ample space. The beds are extremely comfortable with a softer king bed and firmer full beds for those who have a preference. The bedding is beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the layout of where things are in it makes sense. We had food delivered (door dash) a couple of times and had no issues. The beach access is a couple houses down and even though it’s public beach access, it felt very private with only a few residential neighbors being around when we’d go. The house is a short maybe two or three minute drive to Fort Macon and it’s definitely worth checking out. Definitely head into Beaufort for some quaint, local shopping! The only thing I’d caution is there are some fragrant oil diffusers that smell amazing but may be too strong for someone with fragrance sensitivities or it could possibly be an eczema trigger.

Our family had a wonderful stay. There was more than enough space for our group of 7 to not be crowded at all. Places for front porch relaxing to game night, puzzle building to quiet time to family meals together made for the ideal setting for a long weekend filled with celebrations.

Labor Day Beach Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Surf Shack. The house is located on a quiet street just steps away from a beach access. The front porch was great for midday naps on the swing and enjoying the sunset. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you might need for making family meals. The house was very clean and felt like a home as opposed to a third party rental. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Having bathrooms for each bedroom is a bonus. The house is clean and the quality of linens was appreciated.
We found everything we needed including a couple of things we forgot to bring in the pantry. There are some nice views of the ocean from the house and the neighborhood is really nice. We appreciated the close proximity to shopping and stores. The owner was excellent in communication. We would definitely want to come back again.
One thing to note. We brought my elderly mother. The beds were a little high for her but she managed. The tub was also an issue for her but we used outdoor walk in shower and it was perfect! We were appreciative that there was a bedroom on the main level for my parents and the rest of us used the upstairs bedrooms. Each bedroom charming in its own way.
( do wish the VRBO fees weren’t so high, that’s the only bummer (not the fault of the house owners)

This house was better than I could have imagined. Clean and felt like home, the big front porch was a hit for the entire family. The street is quiet with quick walking access to a wonderful beach. The house has so many amenities, with nice beach chairs, bikes and sand toys for our 3 year old. So many kitchen appliances and utensil included and hair dryers in every bathroom. The process of booking and communication with the owner was seamless. We are already checking each other’s schedules to plan a trip back to this house!!

The house is decorated to perfection and is at a great location. we enjoyed the short walk to the beach everyday, ran the trails at Fort Macon, hit the skate park many times and enjoyed the many porches at the house. The house is so well equipped, the beds are all very comfortable and Hannah was so quick to respond to any questions we had regarding the house or with things to do in the area. I would recommend this house for families or friends of any ages.
