The house was very comfortable clean and close to everything that we wanted to do. The pond was gorgeous I took some really great photos of dragonflies and butterflies they were abundant. Thank you for the great experience.

The house was wonderful, clean and inviting (the brownies were terrific). We were very comfortable there with our grandsons. We were nice and close to everything. The grounds and the pond were an extra bonus.
We didn't find diamonds this time, but we had a ton of fun. See you next year!

The best way I can describe the property is camping with a house. The absolute to fish on property, sit on the porch and enjoy a good book or make a fire and make s’mores is something our family loved.
Cell phone reception is horrible so it allowed us to truly unplug and reset as a family. We loved it and will be back soon.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean with a wonderfully stocked kitchen. Very spacious relaxing setting loved the covered porch. The bedrooms are large, and beds were very comfortable! The pond is awesome, don't forget your fishing gear if you like to fish. The location if great so close to Crater of Diamonds State Park and downtown Murfreesboro. I recommend this home to anyone traveling to this area.

Scott Graves was simply the best host that anybody could ask for, the house was very beautiful, We all felt like we were home in a cottage in the country, the lake was beautiful and the boat ride was just a wonderful experience, they have a fire pit that made spending time with family a special treat which is so rear in this busy world of ours today. Spending time with family is crucial and finding the right spot to do it with your family other than home is this beautiful heaven on earth, everything about this place is beyond my expectation, Truly a relaxing experience. The towns people of Murfreesboro made us all feel like we were one of their own. I highly recommend this to everybody. I would love to rate this place 100 stars if I could but unfortunately I can only give the rating of what the questioner was asking, which is the five star rating. 👍🙏🕊️❤️🔥

The house was perfect couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Everything you needed except food was available.We were all adults in our 60s but it is also a great place to bring kids so much for them to do also close to Diamond mine was a plus.The only problem we had was when we got to the last brownie Lol great job Scott. We will be back thanks for having us.

We felt right at home! All of us loved the pond, it’s loaded with fish! The brownies are a nice touch. I have nothing bad to say about this property! If we come back to visit we would defiantly stay here again!

Propertybhas everything you need. Its the perfect home away from home. We visited from Kansas and this house had all the extras, especially in the kitchen. Absolutely the best location for mining.

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at the rental . The crater of diamonds is very close , the rental had some buckets and a cart we borrowed that was very helpful. The brownies were delicious. House is very clean and comfortable .Very well stocked with miscellaneous items .Owners/caretakers had great communication.
Would definitely recommend staying here, we certainly will the next time we visit the area.

Shady Pines was a perfect place to stay!
Quiet, secluded and roomy.
We were able to spread out, take a walk to the lake or be all together in the spacious kitchen to put puzzles together and play cards after a long day at the Crater of Diamonds, which is right down the road.
Besides the delicious brownies, the wagon and buckets were an added bonus!
The ONLY thing we were a little disappointed about had nothing to do with Shady Pines...it was not being able to have a Marguerita with our food at the Mexican restaurant in town but the food and service made up for it. We didnt know we were in a dry county but hopefully after May 1st that will change for Telingas.
All in all it was fabulous!

Minutes away to the park; provided equipment was a nice bonus! Absolutely beautiful pond to admire and fish! Kids enjoyed fishing more than Diamond hunting. Ha!

We enjoyed our stay here so much! Everything was easy and worry free with check in and check out. Communication was fast when we had a couple questions early in our stay.The property is quiet and private. The home is comfortable and well stocked. I have zero complaints and if we return to the area I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Our family of 4 had a great time. The house was 5 minutes from Crater of the Diamonds State Park which made getting to and from the park easy. We had fun fishing in the pond and enjoyed the view from the back porch.

This property had everything we needed. Hosts responded quickly to any questions and were friendly. Home is close to the Crater of Diamonds. Had a pan of brownies waiting for us when we arrived. My family loved the brownies and it was a nice surprise. WI-FI worked well. This place is a home away from home.

This house is amazing! Enough comfy beds and towels for everyone, pump soap at the sinks (which we appreciate!), and everything you could need in the kitchen. Boys enjoyed checking out the property after a long drive and loved the old trucks and pond. Very close to Crater if the Diamonds and sooo quiet! Our entire family enjoyed the brownies, such a nice homie touch, thank you! Check out Telinga’s in town. Excellent Mexican restaurant and service is unparalleled!

I recommend bringing all your food and drinks because there is not a lot close by, nor restaurants. This place is very quiet and private which we loved. We slept great on the comfortable beds, and had a great time fishing in the big pond.
The only thing we were a little disappointed over was that we had read about everyone getting brownies when they arrived, and would’ve liked to have tried some but I guess there weren’t any this time. The oven was on when we arrived which was a little strange, and the bbq grates definitely need to be replaced. It’s really not healthy to cook on all that rust. Otherwise this is the place to be if you want a quiet, serene, restful escape!

The pictures didn’t do justice for this listing. The property was much bigger than expected and very beautiful. We all felt like we could relax in comfort and had all we needed to cook for ourselves. There were even enough tools for us to use at the diamond digging site. And to top it off, the brownies our hosts made were amazing!

This home and property are beautiful. The home was so clean and cozy, comfy beds. We really appreciated all of the towels as it was hot and we spent a lot of time outdoors! My son and grandkids went to Crater off Diamonds 4 times. The wagon and supplies were very helpful. Delicious home made brownies were there upon our arrival. The location is very close to town square, the park, and yet it’s in the country. We saw a lot of deer and I enjoyed swinging on the porch! It was so peaceful.
Owners were wonderful and responsive.
We are hoping we can come back during cooler weather someday.
We highly recommend this property!
