Spacious and clean living, sleeping and outdoor areas, allowing for excellent opportunities to socialize in separate groups. The 3rd floor living area and kitchen felt large, open and the 360 degree views gave an airy and bright environment. We wanted a property with space to entertain and have quiet spaces. This was perfect for our new year's break, and the proximity to the ocean allowed for many beach walks. Our host was a pleasure and we hope to visit again.

We enjoyed a lovely week at this home. The communication with the owner was great, although very little was needed. The house is extremely comfortable and nicely furnished. The kitchen is fully stocked and we cooked most of our meals there. The location in North Beach was ideal with beautiful views of the ocean. We would highly recommend this property.

My husband, our son, and my immediate family had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home. The location is convenient to lots of shops (walkable), direct, with quick beach access. The home itself has a great layout and lots of bonuses like beach and kitchen supplies. Communication with the owner was top notch. Strongly recommend this home and plan on returning ourselves!

House was well laid out and provided plenty of room for our two families. Finished basement was perfect staging area for our daily beach visits. There is even a fridge down there for extra food storage (we stored all of our drinks). Bedrooms were spacious and my kids LOVED the bunk beds. Oh and the most important thing, there were PLENTY of bathrooms! Two downsides (both minor). When we arrived the cleaning crew forgot to vacuum so there was a lot of sand everywhere. The owner/manager, quickly recitified the situation and had the crew back to re-do the vacuuming. The second thing is that the house is on the main road and you will hear some road noise. This didn’t bother us much, but don’t expect to hear the ocean from your bedroom. To get ocean noise you will have to spend a few thousand more to be closer to the beach. But at this price point we were happy to make that trade off. Overall very happy with the house and would stay again.

It's been years since we stayed in LBI and we were so happy to be back! This house was perfect for our family vacation. We loved the location, easy for kids to walk back and forth from the beach. The views were amazing from the deck, and the layout of the house was great. Hoping to rent again in the future!

This was our 8th year renting this house, and after I write my review, I will be emailing to rent again for next year. It is very special to my family. The short walk to the beach, and close proximity to Surf City, is truly the best! The owners add cute decorative items each year, and there’s always an improvement to the house every time we come. We all have plenty of room to have our own space, but our favorite place is hanging on the large deck all together. The sunset and ocean views are so beautiful. Very sad to be leaving, but we can’t wait to come back.

Five years coming to this home and each year gets better. Love to see the new items/appliances added each year. We feel so comfortable in this home and look forward to spending many years to come!

This was a perfect vacation from start to finish. The booking process and information provided by Janice was easy to understand and always helpful. The owners even provided a pack and play so we did not have to rent one which was very gracious of them. The homes suited everyone’s needs and was just a two minute walk to the beach. It was appointed with everything we could possibly have wanted including beach chairs, umbrellas, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for preparing meals. Communication with the owner was always available although once we were there we were all set! Do not hesitate to rent this home for your family vacation, we look forward to coming back again next year! It feels like home when you are there and we have been going to the island for 40 years! :)

We have been coming to LBI for 25 years. The last 10 years we have been staying at this house. We now call it our beach house we love it so much. It’s in a great location on a quiet, private block just two houses from the beach. The house is beautifully decorated. The dining room and living room were comfortable and fit our extended family. The bedrooms were great with a flat screen TV in each room. There is also plenty of parking for family and visitors. We really enjoyed the outside deck where we spent most of our nights. We enjoyed the great view of the sunrise and sunset. Love the extra-large wrought iron table where we have dinner every night. We find the home to be extremely clean and if there was ever a problem a resolution was just a phone call away. Dishes, pots and pans are always clean and well stocked. I read a recent review on this beautiful home and I don’t know what those renters were talking about. It certainly does not describe the house we rent! We hate having to leave and can’t wait for next year!!!!!!!!

We have been staying here for a number of years now. Always a great time. The location cant be beat. Steps from a beautiful beach. 3rd house off of the beach. Large home, many bedrooms, many bathrooms, many decks. All furnishings are on point. 3rd floor is perfect for entertaining/hanging out. Huge living space/dining room with large kitchen spills out to enormous deck with access to roof deck. Sunset views. Cant get a better house in a better location at this price....period.

My family has been renting 1039A for over 6 years and the property never disappoints us. The interior décor is lovely and the view from the deck is breathtaking. The property is always immaculate upon arrival, and believe me, I have OCD when it comes to cleanliness. Over the years, we have met the great cleaning crew. They have always cleaned the property to the highest standards. Even though the property is well maintained, the owner provides numbers if there are any emergency situations. In the 6 years I have never had to utilize them. This property has become a second home for my family and friends. We love this house so much, next years vacation week is already booked!!

This is the seventh year my family has rented this property, We love it so much, and have already re-rented for next year.The location of the house is truly the BEST. It is on a beach block, with amazing views of the ocean and bay. It is within walking distance to shops. In addition, you aren't piled on top of your neighbors. This gives you privacy and a less crowded beach. It is much more crowded and cramped in other parts of LBI. The location alone makes this house worthwhile. The house sleeps many people, and the layout of the basement "rec room" area makes it like a mini apartment. It is great for multiple families or couples. There is a TV in every bedroom, which my family loves. A lot of houses only have TVs set up in main areas of the house. We also love utilizing the outdoor shower, in addition to the two other showers. We never have a problem getting ten people cleaned up after a beach day. Every year the owners add new decorative touches, and work on the house in some way. We enjoy looking of new pieces of artwork or accents whenever we go. Even on rainy days, this house has something to offer. The kitchen island adjacent to the dining room table is a great common area for game playing. We love watching a good thunderstorm from the almost 360 degrees of windows. There are plenty of utensils, cookware and serving ware. My FIL is a professional chef and is happy with the tools on hand. We love eating meals together on the deck. The table has more then enough seating for all of us. Here's a good tip: Use PeaPod by Stop and Shop to have your groceries delivered right to the door. My husband is a neat freak and is always happy with the state of the house. It is a popular beach house used by lots of people each summer, so as far as furniture and rugs, everything isn't going to stay 100% brand new. You may find some stray grains of sand here and there, after all they have a limited time to "flip" the house for the new guests. But we are always very comfortable. As far as the garbage pails, when you arrive on Saturday you will see garbage bags in the pails from the previous guests, because the town doesn't pick it up until Tuesday. I am not the only repeat renter of this property, and it is fully booked every summer. If you're looking for a cozy and comfortable beach house, that sleeps a lot of people, with a unique charm and an amazing location, this is the house for you. Our hearts break a little when we leave it each year.

We had high expectations when we saw photos of the property and how close to the beach it was. Unfortunately, the house has been neglected and not maintained. Carpets and furniture were stained. Some pieces of furniture were in need of repair. Additionally, many rooms need re-painting. That would not have been so bad if the cleanliness of the house had been up to basic standards. I spent the the first two days cleaning pots, pans, cooking & eating utensils, glassware and dishes - many of which were put away in the cabinets and drawers dirty and greasy. The oven, stove top, refrigerator shelves, drawers and cabinet shelves all needed to be cleaned. Bathrooms seemed to have been wiped around, but on further inspection, toilets were soiled and required scrubbing and disinfecting. The outdoor garbage and recycling cans were filled to overflowing and left uncovered. The untied bags sent trash all over the yard during a rain and wind storm. We had to wait several days until the regularly scheduled trash removal made it possible for us to cover the cans. It is a shame the house has been neglected, because it has the potential to be an ideal vacation spot.

Just on the way home from another great week in LBI. Staying at the home for the last four years never disappoints us. Our three families fit so comfortably. The home has everything we need. Always a pleasure. Thank you!

Another delightful season here, and again the ever caring owners created a beautiful decor add on. walking into the Rec/Family room, I was so surprised to see that a unique flooring had been installed, a cork like design !!! it is so different and really pretty, add to that the colorful "pop" border all around, and it is a winner. But the owners didn't stop there, they added two very nice picnic tables out back by the grill-there was already seating, they just thought we might need more !!! quite nice Gosh, I have so enjoyed my time here, this home is so cozy, so pretty, and such a pleasure to stay in--it really fits the saying, as a home away from home. In my other reviews I have gushed, praised, and extolled the beauties and quality of this home, and of course, it is all still here. Again, I want to repeat myself, and say this home is beyond amazing. There is no way anyone could stay here and not enjoy themselves--regardless of the weather. After all the weather is just that, it defines whether we have sun or not, but it does not stop our enjoyment of our beautiful cozy surroundings. This home is a treasure---I sure hate to leave, I will miss seeing the wonderful sunrise and sunset views from the deck.

This was our sixth year staying here, clearly we love it! Every year that we come, the owners have added to the decor, or improved the house in some way. We love to see the changes. The location of this house is perfection. Nice, quiet beaches, yet still close enough that you can walk into town. We have everything we need in the kitchen, and plenty of space for our large group. This year we also stayed in a hotel the Friday night before our reservation, which was great for avoiding bridge traffic on Saturday. We also used PeaPod by Stop and Shop to have all of our groceries delivered right to our door. I highly recommend anyone staying here look into both! You can scroll down to read any of my previous reviews about house details. I want to focus on how helpful the owners are. They will patiently answer any questions you have, and respond to you very quickly. When we left the house in 2015, we left a case of children's DVDs. The owners put them aside for us, and when we arrived this year they were right by the TV waiting for us. This year, I must have been too comfortable, and upon leaving left my expensive jewelry behind. The cleaning lady found it and locked it all up for me. I was able to pick up the jewelry the next week. In addition, someone inquired about renting our "usual" week next year, and instead of just taking the reservation, they kindly reached out to me to see if I would be returning first. We love coming to "our" LBI house and look forward to it all year. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!

This is our 2nd season here, and I am just as enthralled with this lovely home. This season the owner accomplished something I didn't consider could be done......the home has a new rec room with a "wow" powder room! Great seating, table for dining ,if you wish, and a grill and outdoor table steps away. flat screen wall tv, and the room just begs for the company of children, if the adults are taking it easy upstairs in the made for relaxing living room. As i stated in my review last year, this is a home that has all the things you need for making your vacation just that. It is well decorated, and carefully maintained to all details. This home is kept like a home, not a rental. The beautiful views from deck, or upper deck will surely soothe you, and if you're not careful they will take your breath away. If you come here, and your worries follow you, some of them will be chased away staying at this lovely home with the magnificent views and the glorious sky above you----and wait until you see the stars shining brighter than they do at home, because they think LBI is special too! God willing, and "the creeks don't rise" I'll see next season in this special home.

We had a FABULOUS time! The house was so perfect for our needs in so many ways. The kitchen is so well stocked it made cooking easy. I used the outdoor shower every day and now I miss it! We had a great time eating outside on the deck (that huge table is perfect!), enjoying the views from the top deck, and relaxing in the living room. The beds were all comfortable. Location was perfect.

I am staying here, and feel as tho I still need to pinch myself to believe how wonderful this place is. To label it a "rental" does an injustice to it---it is a HOME, way beyond what you might envision when you see the word rental. This home has been tastefully decorated with artwork throughout--it is spacious and airy, and makes you feel like just moving in. Anything you would need has thoughtfully been provided-the kitchen is large, and cabinet space galore (if you have a tendancy to over shop as I do), each bedroom makes you want to walk in and linger,and makes it vnery hard to choose one, although the master with bath ,and a mattress so comfortable you will be searching for the label! is a favorite,My 16 year old granddaugter (week end visitor) pounced on the room with the beautiful french flowered quilt---I think she sent a picture to everyone she knows! The dining area has seating for 11!!! If you look from one wall of oversize windows ,you see the bay, and looking from the other wall of windows you have the ocean view--how great is that, panoramic!! The outside deck has the most beautiful wrought iron table to seat 10, and ANOTHER that seats 4-6, the views, the breeze, makes you question why you would want to be anyplace else. And then if you have a mind to go beyond that expierience, go up a few steps to the upper most deck and just simply sigh at the beauty

My family and I have rented this house four years in a row, clearly we love it! I have been to this house 8 months pregnant, and also with young babies. The location is perfect for both scenarios. It is in a quiet residential area, on a beach block. The proximity to the beach can't be beat! Stores and restaurants can be found just a short walk, car or bike ride away. Every year that we return to the house, the owners have improved upon something. This year we loved the new outdoor shower, concrete patio, and closed in entry way. We can't wait to see what's new next year. LBI is a wonderful place to go with family, and this house is the perfect place to stay. We would love to do two weeks in a row at some point, or possibly split a week with another renter to have a 10 day stay.

My extended family was searching for an appropriate place to have a reunion, and this home and location were absolutely perfect. The property comfortably slept 10 people, and the living room has tons of seating for even more. The furnishings are designed with comfort in mind. The proximity to the beach (third house from the beach) was approximately 75 feet, with views of the ocean from the deck of the house (somewhat obstructed by the other houses), as well. The deck is on the east side of the house, so we had lovely morning sun, and it was pleasantly shaded in the hot afternoons. We wondered if the two full baths, plus the powder room would be enough for our large party, but they were perfectly adequate, along with the outdoor shower. Great water pressure, by the way. The house is furnished with everything one could need: more than adequate silverware, cups and glasses, plates, etc., two large dining areas (the one on the deck can seat 12 - 14 comfortably, and there is another large round table on the deck as well), flat screen cable TVs in every room, HDMI cables connecting to the TV in the living room, 5.1 sound system, plenty of areas for individual conversations and small group meetings. The nearest town (Surf City) is just a couple of miles away, with many restaurants, bike rentals, shops, and stores. Everyone in our extended family commented (numerous times!) on what a lovely house, and location it was. The owner also could not have been nicer: she responded to my (numerous) queries very promptly, was always very friendly, and made many helpful suggestions about area attractions. We can't wait to come back!

This was my third time staying at this lovely North Beach home. My family and I were so happy to see that the home and the beach were not affected by Hurricane Sandy. The home, as always, was clean and well-maintained. The location can't be beat! We traveled with our 10 month old daughter and the short distance to the beach was perfect for us.
