We stayed at the Serenity Lodge for the second year during the Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion. A well-equipped and lovely property located a short drive from town, it provides a restful and welcome retreat from the noise and crowds of the festival. We especially enjoyed the entertainment barn where the musician in our group entertained us with quiet music.

The house was as shown in pictures. Beautiful property and location. It is on a hill and the driveway is gravel and quite steep. The steps in the house to the upstairs master are steep also. We loved the outside building with the picnic tables and lights, it was perfect! Definitely will be going back for future visits!

Very nice property with great porch and neat covered open area for entertainment. Host was great. Good beds. Only complaint is that the house is listed as "river front" but is actually up a hill across the road from the river. You have a view of the river, but I would not consider it river front. But nonetheless is a nice place to stay!

Fly fishing trip with my sons

Stayed here with my dad, brother and son for trout fishing. The lodge's location is so peaceful...all you hear is the South Holston River flowing below the property. The lodge is clean, updated, cozy and the property manager is so very nice and helpful. BTW, the fishing is fantastic...I caught 11 Rainbow and 8 Brown Trout, some just a short walk away from the property. I highly recommend this property! You won't regret staying here.

The Serenity Cabin was a great place for our father-son fishing trip. Plenty of space and good layout for the four of us (all adults). Kitchen was well stocked, back porch and firepit area were very nice and thoroughly enjoyable, both overlooking the South Holston (100 yards). Angie was very quick at responding to questions-concerns.

I really liked this property. The location was great. I wish I would have had more time to spend at the property relaxing on the front porch. The property was clean and cozy. The only draw back of the property were the stairs up to the master bedroom and the shower in the master. The stairs were very steep. Gave my legs a good workout. The shower and toilet were raised on a platform, which was a little awkward. We had an issue with getting the TV's to work, but I texted the owner, and they got right back to me. Great communication. Overall, this property is a great place to stay in the Bristol area.

Serenity Lodge is our "go to" property when vacationing in the Tri-Cities area. Although we spent most time our time either hiking ( so many options in the area ), hanging out with family who live locally, or grabbing great food at one of the numerous restaurants in Johnson City and Bristol. At the end of the day, Serenity Lodge is super comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. We love the expansive front porch with a great view of the South Holston River.

The cabin is located just enough outside of Bristol to enjoy a quiet country setting and being able to get to town quickly.

Spent a few days away from the grind and what a perfect place to relax. The lodge was clean and had everything we needed. The outside space and atmosphere is something special with hearing the creek flowing nearby. We plan to return next time we visit Tennessee!

We stayed at this home so we could go fishing for the weekend. The house was beautiful, location was great and the property was peaceful. We really enjoyed it and would love to stay again.

Everything was perfect! There is absolutely nothing I would change. The front porch with the view of the river was our favorite place to hang out. The "barn" was a fun place to eat BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs. We loved the green everywhere. We had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable with plenty of hot water, towels, etc. We hope to stay there again when we go back to visit family in the future. Thanks for sharing your lodge with us!!

Cozy retreat
Beautiful home situated in the woods, comfy beds, nice front porch where you can listen to the river across the street and watch the deer in the front yard. Property manager was quick with communication and replays and quick to help when needed.

Wow
Met a bunch of old friends for a week of fishing and reminiscing. This place is PERFECT. Big area outside in covered space made the nightly thunderstorms no problem. Super comfortable room upstairs must be well insulated because I slept in for the first time in 20 years!!! Overall a 15/10!! Thanks Angie!

Beautiful property
We came up for Father's Day weekend so the guys could enjoy the races in Bristol while my mom and I enjoyed the historic district. The cabin is conveniently located and is on beautiful property with a view of the river. We enjoyed our stay and I gave it 5 stars. However, I would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues due to the steps, the high tub wall downstairs and the shower and toilet raised on a platform upstairs.

Terrific property and location
My wife and I stayed here for two nights as part of a quick fishing trip we put together. Not a single complaint - great layout of a beautiful piece of property, very clean, and we were able to enjoy the deck in the evenings without being bothered by mosquitos. Close to boat launches and takeouts on the river. We'll almost certainly be return guests.

South Holston Fishing Trip
Had my 3 adult sons-in-law for a 2-day fishing trip. The cabin was great. Beautiful view off the front porch. We will rent this cabin every year. Highly recommend for anglers.

Great Property
Beautiful view of the river, especially when we could see the Bald Eagles fly by. Host was very accommodating. Circumstances didn't allow us to spend a lot of time on the property, but it was a nice refuge when we did.

We spent most of our time on the porch relaxing and enjoying the view. Small things that made it better than I have experienced at other places include a grill that worked and pots and pans that were in good shape. From beginning to end, communication was timely. If I was coming back to this area I would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!!!

From the moment we arrived, we enjoyed our stay. Not too far from anything including groceries, restaurants, and the track. Beautiful setting on the side of a hill overlooking the river. We spent most of our time on the porch relaxing and enjoying the view. Small things that made it better than I have experienced at other places include a grill that worked and pots and pans that were in good shape. From beginning to end, communication was timely. If I was coming back to this area I would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!!!

My family absolutely loved everything about this home. Beautiful location overlooking the river. Home was perfect and well equipped. The outside covered area with the lights was amazing. We want to come back again when the weather is warmer so we can enjoy that area even more. Perfect spot for lunch or playing family games at night! Highly recommend staying here.

We loved the suggested Appalachian Caverns tour for when our original plans changed. The outdoor areas of this place are what makes this property shine with views and access to the creek, porch, fire pit, and covered areas to eat and relax. Very nice!

This is not a deterrent for all but just be aware the stairs to the master bedroom are a little bit narrow & steep and the master bath toilet & shower are up on a step (see master bath pic in listing) which is a bit awkward & could pose a challenge for some, so just be aware. We had an awesome stay at the lodge. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and had just enough space for our family. The upstairs master suite was a great retreat and the kitchen was stocked with all the things we needed. The view from the front porch was outstanding and we can’t wait to return in warmer weather!
