Previous property reviews correct. Owners very nice and good communicators. House directly under SD airport flight path. Pretty loud at 7:00 am.

Clean and cozy property perfect for a single or couple. Bed was very comfortable and the linens smelled fantastic! Nicely stocked with cooking and bathroom supplies. The only slight drawback is that because the studio is on the ground floor of a two story house, there was a lot of noise with people and pets walking around upstairs.

The apartment was easy to get to, and a terrific location from which to explore San Diego during our 4-day stay. Other reviews mention dogs barking and airplane noise, but neither were as bad as some reviewers assert. Tracy was a very responsive host. We’d definitely stay here again.

This studio was perfect for our stay the whole 4 days. Close to all our favorite spots, and real quiet at night. The neighborhood is super chill and the owners are there to help with anything we needed. Thank you!!

It is a quaint snug hideaway that worked out perfect for my stay in San Diego. It was homier than a hotel room. It was located in a wonderful neighborhood and conveniently located for my friend's daughter to come and go from her location to pick me up. I loved the furniture, especially the coffee table by the couch! The place was full of any dishes you may need and a keurig coffee maker and games!
The only drawback is it is in line with the airport and the planes that fly directly over starting early in the mornings.

I loved the neighborhood. Close to Ocean Beach, few minutes by car, 10 minutes from the airport, which is convenient, however that means lot of airplanes and the noise it comes with. I don't understand the reviews on here complaining about the dogs, you couldn't hear the dogs from the airplanes. So if you're a light sleeper, bring some earplugs, maybe even download a white noise app on your phone or tablet. As for the room, it's exactly what I expected by looking at the pictures. It is about as clean as a 3 star hotel, but you get free parking. The sheets were clean, which is the most important thing for me when I sleep in a hotel. I'm really glad I stayed here instead of a hotel.

A quaint little studio that works well if you are visiting and aren't planning on spending much time there. Unfortunately we were using the space to WFH while our apartment complex was getting fumigated, and it was too small for two people. The windows are very thin and there are two dogs upstairs that bark constantly.
Wasn't the end of the world by any means, but if you're sensitive to noise, this probably isn't the place for you.
Also, the barn-style door to the bathroom is the bane of my existence. I can't stand a barn door! So silly.

We were coming in to visit our young adult son that had recently moved into the area. We love the homey feel of a VRBO vs. hotel room and this was perfect. We weren’t there much except to sleep and shower, but we would gladly choose to stay again. The owners had lots of thoughtful touches and were excellent communicators.

Enjoyed our stay in this cute studio apartment. Minutes from the beach and restaurants. Plenty of amenities. Near the airport so quite a bit of airplane noise. Definitely recommend staying here and will return again if back in the area.

Needed a place to stay and work while waiting for my daughter at her VB camp. This spot was perfect. Cozy and well equipped with everything I needed. I saw the previous comments about barking dogs, and while I did experience this it was short spurts and seemed to be addressed right away. It is in a neighborhood after all and pretty typical for any neighborhood I’ve lived in. I actually enjoyed the daily activity around the house, kids at play outside, singing, etc. I did get intermittent internet service here, it was really fast when I arrived but at times dropped down to super slow. Not sure it it was the provider or what, but because I was using it as my office away from the office this was the only issue. Overall a great place, one that I would return to!

The location is convenient and close to the city as well as the beach. There’s many good food spots around and so much to do in the area.
We felt safe in the neighborhood as well.
We enjoyed our stay for the few days that we stayed.

The place is small but charming. Loved the yoga mat! The only negative was the lack of kitchen sink, and the loud barking from the two dogs upstairs. They didn’t bark all the time we were there, but when they did, yikes!

My 15 year old son had not seen the ocean- so he and I headed out to my old stomping grounds, San Diego (live in MN now). The place is in the Point Loma neighborhood, very nice, and quiet. Easy to park, nice to come back from the beach and have a nice, quiet place to relax. The location is great, close to everything. It was nice to work with Tracy, communication was great. We thought a toaster oven might be nice, there is a microwave. My 15 year old was just fine on the fold out couch. Really enjoyed our stay!

It was very private which is my taste. I liked it alot and would stay again. My dislike was the curtains need to be replaced you can see through them at night with neighbors next door and the front door needs a small curtain also whoever lives upstairs has 2 dogs that bark all the time during the day but in the evening time and all night they are quiet which is good.

This is a cute unit in Point Loma Tracy, the owner thought of everything to make your stay pleasurable . She was available and helpful.

Very nice property in a quiet neighborhood. I appreciated how the unit has nice amenities - plates, dish soap, just nice little things that made the stay easy. Comfortable bed and well-appointed.
I was there in February and it was COLD (I am from Hawaii so 55 is cold! Only a small space heater, but the bedding was lovely and warm.

Enjoyed our stay here. Nice space with all that's needed for a few days stay. The owner sent a welcome text with all info the day before which was very helpful. She also followed up just before checkout. Would stay here again.

this property was exactly what i needed & expected from the listing. the space was cleanly & had everything i needed (i.e.chargers, pens, q-tips, etc.). Tracy was very thorough w communication! i felt very safe & the neighborhood is very nice.

Tracy was an excellent host. The studio is in a great location and the weather was beautiful! Tracy responded immediately each time I had a question. I had read other reviews and they were spot on in regards to the couch/futon bed and the bathroom door/barn door not staying shut. However, we discovered that by wedging a piece of cardboard into the door did the trick! My friend said that the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend a new couch/futon though. It was not very comfortable to either sit or sleep on. However, I made due. Sheets and comforters were available just as informed by Tracy and very much appreciated. The only other factor was that the towels although clean, did have a slight musty/mildewy scent. But that is just me since I prefer using downy unstoppables.
Overall, it was a great stay.

The property is located in a nice neighborhood with nice nearby restaurants and access to highways. The room is spacious and the host provides plenty of coffee.
However, this space is not ideal for couples, unless you enjoy not having any bathroom privacy. There is a barn door that doesn’t stay closed. Additionally, every mirror is hung for a person under 5’5”.
The furniture seems to have been picked up at yard sales; old and overused. And the most disturbing aspect was the noise. There is a dog upstairs and you can hear every step he takes. We felt like the owners were rearranging furniture the entire time we were there. Every morning the dogs, several of them began a howling match. And the unit is in the flight path of the airport.
Another positive note. My son is in the Navy and he was called in on our originally planned trip so we had to reschedule. The owner did work with me to reschedule with only a slight increase in price.

The place has pretty much everything you could need. The only downsides are that the bathroom door doesn't stay completely closed and the couch is damaged (one section is sunken in).

Tracy's a great hostess, very available. It's not really a studio but a room with a bathroom, a mini-fridge, microwave and hot plate -- no kitchenette sink, so all wash-up is in the bathroom sink. The living room area is pleasant, but the seat cushions on the couch are sagging and need to be replaced. No A/C, but there is a good fan. Early morning wake-up daily at 6:30am with the airplanes overhead, you can set your watch by it!

This was a very positive and awesome experience. The rental was perfect, it was everything I needed. Great location and a comfy, cozy atmosphere. I would rent again for sure.
