Emplacement idéal. Rapport qualité prix excellent. Fukuoka incroyable, belle et très propre . jamais d'incivilité. Très grande ville, (1million 500 mille habitants), ports, espaces verts, beaucoup de quartiers attractifs , beaucoup de restaurants variés et souvent excellent, Nourriture très bon marché et souvent délicieuse. nous avons beaucoup pris le bus ,nous avons marché 120 kms. en 13 jours. très beau séjour.

The space is quite small for 3 people.

Clean, functional, well stocked with everything you need including umbrellas which came in very handy as it turned out to be very rainy when we visited. The place was comfortable for all three of us. Close to amenities as well. The host was also helpful with giving instructions and it was easy to navigate to the apartment.

It’s not VERY centrally located. While close to public transportation you still need to walk a fair bit. So not for people who want a very convenient location.

It was dirty The third bed is actually not a bed : instead of a futon it is like a very thin piece of bed clothe (cf pic) Some broken items were left in the storage space : and broken stool , lamp. There was also dirty slippers at the entrance storage space

Yakuin is a small but very well organized apartment with everything you need for a stay in Fukuoka (kitchen, laundry, accesories, etc.) It would be a perfect place for a couple tavelling on a budget, or for a group of three friends (or a family with one flexible, well-behaved kid) with one willing to sleep in a narrow space on the floor. It is centrally located in the city, and a great jumping-off point. It is clean and airy, and the host is very responsive to most queries.

The apartement is probably too small for groups that need spacing- it would have been too tight for myself, my wife, and my elderly father. The hosts won't help with ordering a taxi. While I recognize that the apartment is a self-service kind of place, as a non-Japanese traveller, you can't order taxis by phone, and this would have been a big help.

Good location, walkable from Yakuin (near), Tenjin and Hakata (a bit further) stations. It felt very private. Room was very spacious and clean for what it was, and it was provided with cleaning equipment to make a long stay feel better. I stayed six nights and it was an excellent base for me for my travels. Bed and futon were alright, bed a little hard/thin but nothing to shout about, plenty of pillows and blankets provided. Having super good WiFi, solid air-conditioning, an efficient washing-machine, toaster, fridge and separate microwave and a bunch of cooking utensils - awesome. And all for that price....no complaints. Also, there is an EXCELLENT yakitori restaurant just down the street and a whole ton of hipster coffee places/cafes in the near area, including a chai place I now dearly love.

There was a slight miscommunication about room numbers on the first day but that was quickly cleared up. Credit to the hosts for picking up the phone almost immediately despite it being very late at night. I wish I could have received more than one key.

Apartment is not far from the main street where terrific food is. I was really surprised to find a place like this for so cheap. Usually you're spending at least $120+ a night for a spot like this. The host was able to get ahold of super fast and was 100% willing to do whatever needed to be done to ensure her guests had a wonderful stay. Definitely recommend!

The fact that I couldn't stay longer. This was well worth the money.
