Thanks for leaving beach toys for the kids!

I grew up going to Dauphin Island until 2010 we moved away. Staying there brought back great memories. The condo was very nice and clean.

The actual tenants were not very nice or friendly. We had trouble with the key card to get access into the condo. No parking permits were available in the condo. We were going to address it the next day. Go down to vehicle to see a citation. Husband went to security to get actual permits. Next morning another parking permit violation on his vehicle with the permit in his window. Check in and check out times are horrible.

The view was amazing however the mattress was sunken in and had a huge urine stain on it and smelled. We attempted to contact Holiday Isle and got no response.

The staff at the property were rude and Vacasa was rude when we called to get a parking pass and did not respond to our concerns about urine stained bedding.

Loved the room and the view. The location in relation to restaurants was perfect.

This is in no way the responsibility of the host, but the walk to the beach was a bit long if carrying chair's/canopy/cooler for spending the day on the beach.

It's a nice condo just as described. The island is quiet, not crowded with people and has plenty of beach for you not to be piled on top of one another like other beaches. There's no chain restaurants but 15-20 local restaurants that have amazing food and service. The ferry ride is 40 minutes then you can drive another 30 minutes and you're in Gulf Shores which is great or spend the day in New Orleans which is only a little over 2 hours away. There's 2 pools 1 indoor and outdoor which is great for the kids.

The master bath tub jets cut on everyday at 4:20. The top bunk bed rail was broken and fixed with some cheap metal brackets which isn't good enough for small children to be climbing up there to hold on to. The kitchen needs sufficient cookware as 2 small skillets and 2 pots isn't enough when cooking a full meal for a large family of 6. The master bathroom toilet paper holder was hanging on by a screw. There isn't a grocery store on the island like Walmart just a local surf n shop and a dollar general over the bridge so bring groceries with you so you have everything you need.

Very thankful for all the beach chairs, toys, and nets.

The location was amazing. We liked that the beaches weren’t over crowded. The apartment had a full kitchen which was great.

I didn’t like that when we got there that two of the keys in the lockbox wouldn’t open the door. One key opened our room but wouldn’t work on any of the other doors. It was an easy enough fix after talking to one of the housekeepers.

Nice property in a nice quiet place. Didn't find a single thing wrong and everything was spotless. Looking forward to returning someday.

The location. And the condo was beautifully decorated. The elevator was extremely fast.

I wished there were codes for the locks instead of having to keep up with a key card. That was and inconvenience when we were not all together. And it would have been nice to have more than one dish towel for the kitchen.

Loved the wall of glass overlooking the Gulf. Also loved the beach peninsula it overlooked.

Interior lighting was not very bright in the kitchen. Had only one old Frying Pan. Could use an update for kitchenware

The view was amazing. The room was gorgeous. And my bed was so comfortable. Absolutely loved my stay❤️❤️❤️

Condo was beautiful

Electronic keys would not open door. There was a glitch in the system. Every time we left the condo, we had to call and off campus agent to let us back in our unit. When going to the beach, we had to wait for someone coming out of the boardwalk to get back in the facility. This was so very frustrating. The agent did, however, adjust our rate for the inconvenience . however

The long walk to the beach

Just a couple of things that need attention- one of the boards on the bottom bunk bed foot board is broken, the bathroom door off of that bedroom doesn't lock, and there is no blender pitcher, unless we just couldnt find it. The kitchen knives, though plentiful, could use sharpening. The living room blinds were broken when we arrived and could not be shut. These are all small things and didn't bother us much but I thought it would be good to bring to your sttention. The one thing that did frustrate us was the very poor internet. We were told it is an island wide issue, however.

Blinder in the living room were not working. There was an instruction on a sticky note attached to the wall :), but still, did not close or open.

The views of the ocean. The proximity of the ocean to the condo. Loved that the condo had a full kitchen so we could cook and not have to go out every night. Great little piece of heavan

King bed was a little lumpy. Stay was amazing. Views were breathtaking. Only issue was not knowing the condo was for sale and the owner wanting to show it during our stay. We agreed to let them show it. Turns out they didn't show it at the agreed upon time and came knocking two hours later expecting a prestine place when we had left the cleaned condo at the alloted time.
