To our surprise, this cabin was so fun. we were all skeptical as we didnt know the area (we're from Florida) or what to expect. We all were so excited when we pulled into the isolated cabin, nice yard, private stream. there was just so much. my kids enjoyed smores in the fireplace, on the warm day (Thurs), it felt like home, nice weather so the kids and I stepped through the stream. There was an issue with the indoor fireplace that was immediately solved with a text. Maintenance came quickly. We loved it. I was a little worried when i saw the little crawl space upstairs i want to say was named Abigail corner or something like that. (maybe i watch too many ghost hunting shows). we can't wait to return, hopefully in the fall when we can really enjoy the outside more.

Very impressive when you 1st walk in and then when you open the doors to the rear deck and hear the sounds of the river. It takes you to a new place of relaxation.

This is a great place to meet up and make memories. We really enjoy all the outside spaces. The covered pavilion is a great place to hang out. There is plenty of room inside the house for everyone to spread out and have their own space. We had the best time!!

We enjoyed much time out by the creek. We used the woodburning fireplace on the outside porch, and had plans for the firepit the next night, but we had some rain that night. Some things: coming down the stairs from the second floor, I noticed that the nails holding the treading strips were starting to come up, and I was afraid of my young grands snagging a toe on them. That needs to be fixed immediately. Also, there are MANY MANY black bear decorations in that house. Most of them need a good cleaning. The paper towel holder by the kitchen sink was dirty enough to be unusable. The owners need to upgrade the silverware and some of the pots and pans. Also, the drinkware is lacking. It needs more kid friendly drinkware. I also would have liked some nice full sized unbreakable tumblers to use on the porches. One of the big fluorescent fixtures is out on the porch by the kitchen. The table lamp in the den needs a new light bulb. You need to supply a couple of extra pillows and a nice throw in each bedroom.

The cabin is nice but the amenities that I paid extra for were not available to me.Instead of offering me a different cabin I was told 5 minutes after arrival that the fireplace was not working. Obviously this was known well before my arrival but wasn't conveyed until the Elks Springs manager saw that I had entered the cabin.This was just the beginning of my disappointment! The jacuzzi was 64 degrees and would not be available until the following day. I called the manager to no avail. I was not offered any help or assistance. We had stopped on our way to the cabin and purchased steaks and pork chops to cook on the grill. When we got ready to cook our meal we found that there was no gas in the grill. After another frustrating call someone did show up with a replacement tank. He acted like he was changing the tank and then did not change it. My husband made the guy aware that he saw that he wasn't switching out to the new tank, so he finally did. After he left we attempted to light the filthy grill only to find that it would not light. There wasn't enough gas getting to the igniter to light the grillor keep it lit.After ruining beautiful steaks in the oven because the grill issues we decided to watch a movie in the theater room. Since we could not use the fireplace or jacuzzi. We then realize that the remotes do not work with the equipment!I am a registered nurse I work long hours and was so excited to have a beautiful respite and birthday in the luxury cabin that I splurged for $300 per night and not have any of the amenities available to me that I paid for and was advertised. I have attempted to get a call back from management to discuss the issues without success.. I did not mention that the cabin was not clean and ready by 3PM but we received a nasty text at discharge because we were 30 minutes late in checking out!! Do Not Give These People You

The home is amazing. But, I picked up trash in several places inside the home. We have stayed numerous places, but have never been anywhere that we had to provide the essentials: toilet paper, paper towels, soap, ect…. As much as we payed for this property, it should have more than a half roll of tissue in the master bath. 10 folks, and only 2 trash bags for a 4 night stay is unacceptable. Now let’s talk about the advertised “grill”! The adjustment knob does not work. The igniter not working. The grill was so filthy, it took 45 minutes to clean before I could cook for my family. It is very small for 10 guests. Not to mention wires hanging from the ceiling in the upstairs. I am very unsatisfied with several aspects of this home. There was also trash outside and in the fire pit. But we picked up. Be careful before renting this property!!!!

Our family stayed for a week, celebrating Thanksgiving. The kids always love their own creek to play in and adults love the outdoor space. Some updates are needed to the cabin though, suggestions: bedding was old and well used, sheets and comforters had stains, mattresses were very uncomfortable, heating/cooling was a problem (very cold downstairs & very hot upstairs) made it problematic for those staying in the upstairs bedroom, shower leaked upstairs, towels were awful (very cheap & felt like sandpaper), shower heads had mold, outside area was full of leaves the day we arrived as seems no one cleaned outside, spider webs downstairs by ceiling under loft, dryer is old and took 120 + minutes to dry a small batch of towels, only had 5 forks for the entire cabin, chair in master was filthy, porch lights were out however someone did come fix it. We love Creeksong but feel it does need an update. We like the new theater room upstairs but that it the most that has changed in 10 years. We hope if we decide to stay at Creeksong again these things will be updated!

The amount of deck space was what sold us on the rental initially, and it definitely did not disappoint. We had 9 people and were outside consistently. I cannot recommend spending time near the creek enough. There are interesting things to do near the cabin, however, if you're looking for a good place to just disconnect/relax/have some family time, this is really a great place for that.
