La casa è di 3000 piedi quadrati e dispone di un ampio soggiorno con bellissimo camino in pietra, salotto con pavimenti in legno massello, sala da pranzo, cucina completa e stanza di fango. Ci sono 3 bagni completi, uno al piano inferiore e 2 al piano superiore. Tutte e 5 le camere da letto al piano superiore hanno finestre a / c unità. C'è: una camera matrimoniale con letto king size (e una doppia), 3 camere con letti matrimoniali e 1 camera con due letti singoli. C'è 1 piccolo spazio aggiuntivo per dormire con un doppio futon al piano inferiore per gli ospiti che non salgono le scale.

Great getaway spot for our bookgroup! We were 7 friends slipping away from the city for a quick winter weekend. The hot tub is such a treat and house is comfortable, clean and accommodating for hanging, cooking, and sleeping. Thanks for hosting us again!

We like to take quick getaways with our mostly adult children when we can get everyone’s schedules aligned. This year we have a new granddaughter that joined in the fun! House was clean with plenty of room! Great room for movie night with all 10 of us! Kitchen was equipped for family dinners and the fresh coffee beans were a pleasant surprise! The hottub was a hit and view of the river was so calming! Property manager was great and answered all questions promptly! We would love to visit again!

We loved our stay at the Riverhouse. There was plenty of room for our party of 10. We took full advantage of the sledding hill and fire pit in the snow. The only complaint we had was the hot tub. We were so looking forward to using it but it was not clean. We understood that this would be really hard to keep up with between guests. Overall it had everything we needed!

The River House felt like our Christmastime home as soon as we entered. My wife, my mother, and I traveled East from Indiana, while our two sons traveled West from DC Metro with their girlfriends. We wanted a spacious and scenic point somewhere in the middle to spend Christmas together; the River House didn't disappoint. We made the obligatory visit to Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater build and it was all we thought it would be.
Celebrating Christmas morning together at the River House worked perfectly for us. The home has more than adequate space for folks to be together or find some space to be alone. The kitchen had everything we needed as we took turns handling meals each day we were there.
We look forward to another trip to the River House during another season to see the area and Fallingwater at a different time of the year.
Kara was amazing in every way before and during our stay. Communication was always timely and she was always friendly; even when we made George her repairman make a trip to the house for an embarrassingly easy flip of a breaker in the basement to bring back the power. If you end up meeting George, that is also a great experience as he couldn't be more friendly.
All in all, we enjoyed every minute at the River House and look forward to another visit not too far down the road.

The beds are comfortable, the kitchen was good for preparing meals, bathrooms are better than decent and having the water dispenser was EXCELLENT! Note to others: bring power strips as the house is older with minimal outlets in each bedroom. No ice cube trays but the hardware store sells bags for $1. (We left ours to 'pay it forward' to the next visitors.) River Road is quiet and safe for kids to be out. Apparently everyone brings coffee filters so we used some as snack bowls ;)

We loved the Riverhouse. Location was great and the home very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment for cooking and dinnerware for a large group. There was plenty of towels and the bedrooms were great.

The location was perfect for our group for all of our adventures. We Biked on the trails, Kayaked in the River directly across the road for the house we stayed , and went White water rafting at White Water Adventures 18 miles for our house rental. The house was very roomy and very well stalked with all the items we needed in the kitchen as well as throughout the entire house. We will definitely come back again. We all had a blessed time 😁

Nice, relatively quiet place where the house is located. Plenty of beds for my group of 11. Nice that it has 3 full bathrooms. Great front porch to sit and relax on during any part of the day or night. We enjoyed the fire pit most nights. Plenty of yard space to do almost anything outside. Absolutely nothing to complain about the river house. Good chance we will be renting in the future.

Riverhouse was the perfect place for our family vacation. Our favorite spot by far was the front porch. We enjoyed spending time watching the river, hummingbirds, fireflies, and other wildlife while chatting and enjoying family time. The location was perfect for excursions to Ohiopyle, Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, and Laurel Caverns. We fell in love with the Laurel Highlands and look forward to coming back soon!

I chose Yough river house for my husbands & i 39th anniversary long weekend..... & we sure had an exceptional time at your house....the entire property was truly amazing...everything was above & beyond expectation....it was extremely cozy & relaxing, needless to say, beautiful....we loved everything about it....our children & their spouses have been included in our celebration weekends for yrs as well, & now the grandkids.. we all agreed this is the best one ......it was so welcoming & comfortable...the wildlife, the fireplace, the hot tub, the great kitchen(couldn't have asked for a thing) polar water was awesome, beautiful dining room with our new "moose" friend, the quant, cozy front room, the property, the view, the play yard, & the exceptional large, covered front porch ( which we used a lot with the rain all weekend}..its the Only thing we woulda changed...i truly can't say enough about this house....btw, i check out your 4 properties (didn't realize you & the treehouse had a dead end street) & u guys are just the best...thank u very much for sharing...i could really continue , but ill cut it short lol..lots of love to u, Melani...hope to c you next yr

Great place to stay. We enjoyed the fire pit area, den, living room, and the front porch. The house is well equipped with most utensils, cookware, and we even found a spare light bulb. Great stay and a kickoff point for Fallingwater and Flight 93 Memorial.

Rent this place and let the cares of world slide ride by you, just like the beautiful Yough River does as it passes the front porch of this gem! More space than you can imagaine - our two families of four were very comfortable in this five bedroom gem. Comfortable and well cared for...go and enjoy all of the outdoor fun that this area has to offer!

Everything about our experience at the Riverhouse was outstanding. The host's communication was excellent. The property was clean, had everything we needed, and the location was fantastic.

Very much recommend this home for large groups. We had 11 people and everyone had plenty of room. The firepit areas are especially awesome. We were so impressed by Kara and the property team. They helped us out with an important delivery, and a new coffee maker. So helpful and considerate. Five stars!

The privacy of the property allowed for relaxation. The yard was big enough for a wiffle ball tournament, albeit a little difficult on the side of a hill. This section of river was flowing too fast to stay in place and fish in kayak, but the town of Confluence was conveniently located to all of our nearby outdoor adventures. Everyone had a great time.

I actually completed this already. we had a great time and the place was wonderful! Plenty of room, full kitchen with everything you may need. loved having 3 full bathrooms and the Welcome sign was very nice, we signed the guest book....there was 8 of us that stayed.

Our group of 10, ranging from 9 to 60+ years old, had a wonderful Easter break at this property. The house was clean, the kitchen is well appointed, the front porch has a wonderful view of the river, and I can keep going…..just a wonderful property. We walked to the ice cream place across the bridge and walked on the bike trail.
The house is located only 15-20 minutes to many great hikes in Ohiopyle State Park.
Thank you for a great stay! We hope to come back during Summer months to check out the water slides 😁.

4 families with little ones stayed the weekend in this house. We had a blast. There was plenty of room for all of us! There is a swinset outside, a high chair, and a crib. Many wonderful things to support families with little ones. It was clean and safe. We've already discussed going back again. Highly recommend

This is the third year in a row that we stayed at the Riverhouse for a winter weekend getaway. There are 11 of us and we spend most of our time at the house playing games, sitting in the hot tub and just enjoying each other’s company. The house is always clean and very well equipped. Switching the family room fireplace to gas burning was a nice addition; the dogs especially seemed to enjoy curling up in front of and taking a nap. And we all love taking pictures with the Moose head!
We like to support the local businesses in town. Although not too many stores and restaurants are open this time of year, we always find ourselves stopping at the hardware store and local grocery store. We order takeout from Mitch’s Fuel & Food. The food is excellent and the employees are friendly and welcoming.
The reservation process and communication with the owner is simple and smooth - thanks Kara!
What started out as a weekend getaway to celebrate a birthday during Covid has turned into an annual winter weekend getaway that everyone looks forward to each year. See you next year!

Perfect for our family! Home was cozy with plenty of bedrooms. My son loved “Marty” the moose! Kara was awesome and the house was decorated for Christmas which was such an added bonus! Thank you!!!

First off, I want to say Kara is a friendly and responsive host... my large family plus our dog spent the coldest Christmas in quite a while in the Riverhouse. It was more than roomy enough for all 11 of us. The ones who were brave enough to take the few frigid steps to the Hot tub enjoyed a a nice warm cozy seat with a great view of an almost frozen river and the serenade of geese and ducks. This house is pretty secluded but a dollar general and a grocery store is less than a mile away. We had pizza and sandwiches our first night there from Mitch's deli and they were great. The rest of the holiday weekend we cooked and ate endlessly. We brought our own roaster and slow cookers but there is a slow cooker there and a griddle and a good oven plus plenty of dishes and pans to keep us all fat and happy. The house was well decorated for Christmas complete with a tree, garland and lights. There's a huge Moose head in the dining area that was big hit with my grandsons . We played games under it's watchful eye. There are a lot of games there plus we brought some ourselves.
The beds are comfortable, as is really the entire house. Spending Christmas there with my family was truly a blessing. Thank you Kara for your hospitality.

We met for a little family get-together. We enjoyed our time at Riverhouse. It was everything the listing said. I especially loved the bath towels - so soft and fluffy! The kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the snow fall from the front porch at night where we could hear the river. Very peaceful.

Very nice setting for a work retreat. We had a nice fall week end. The house was comfortable, had enough bedrooms a large enough kitchen to cook and space for group meetings. Confluence had good restaurants, we spent some time on the bike and hiking trails and had a nice gas fire inside during our meeting and a great wood fire at the fire pit on the property in the eve. My group definitely wants to come back next fall for our next retreat.

What a Special 60th Birthday celebration we had at this Wonderful home!! Very specious it accommodated 5 couples and 2 kids comfortably. We all Loved it's river view, hot tub, fire pit, front porch and it's all around Charm! We Highly recommend this home and hope to make it our annual get away with "Framily"!

The Yough House was great for our first family gathering with brothers and sisters and spouses and SIL. Enough bedrooms and space to gather as family or small groups. Nice yard and fire pit area. All on the Yough River.

We had everything we needed, except a cheese grater lol! Enjoyed the house, from the view on the front porch, a favorite, to the fire pit, and hot tub, nice layout. Picnic table needs a few nails. Love the proximity to bike trail and having a private space to walk into the water… kids loved it, moose in dining room was a hit!

Our family of 9, including 2 teenagers and 2 dogs, had a great stay at the Riverhouse. There is so much to do in the area, and the location makes everything very accessible. The view from the front porch is lovely and is a great space to hang out, as is the firepit area with plenty of seating and also a great view. We enjoyed hiking, the river and both Frank Lloyd White homes. Be sure to get your tickets early because it sells out! The little town of Ohiopyle is cute and has plenty of places to eat and get treats. There is also a pretty falls right at the main public parking area, and we were lucky enough to see two kayakers take on the falls several times. The house is quite comfortable and comes with more than the usual provisions, such as toilet paper, lovely goat soap, trash bags and dish detergent. Much has been updated but there are still a few things that could use some attention.

Our 6 day stay was fantastic. I fished the Yough 3 times and my 9 year old grandson caught his first 2 trout! The entire setting was very nice with privacy on the river. The hot tub was used as was the firepit. I also had a gathering of friends for a cookout and they all loved the place. The house was well appointed and there was a lot of space for all. Basically everything you need is stocked in house. I will definitely return as i consider the place a retreat.

This was our 9th annual gathering to celebrate friendship and God's blessings. We enjoyed walks, bike rides, floating down the river and numerous shenanigans at the house. The addition of whole house A/C was a welcomed improvement. We will be back next year. Thank you Kara!

What a great vacation! River House was perfect for our 3-family vacation, along with 2 dogs. The property was secluded yet within walking distance to Cafe, Ice Cream, and bike path. The kids & dogs enjoyed playing in the river and the trail behind the house was beautiful! We also loved exploring Ohiopyle, which wasn't even 20 minutes away. Communication with Kara was top notch. There was an issue with the electric (totally out of her control) when we got to the house and she notified us right away and the power company was there within a few hours. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the River House or any other of Kara's properties in the future! We had a great experience.
