Great location and excellent property for a large family gathering.

There was a bat swooping at us inside the house. We contacted property manager who sent over a handy man. He was unable to catch bat and left us with a broom and a box in case we caught the bat.
The bat reappeared numerous times flying all around and swooping at us (adults and children) and flying in and out of rooms. After numerous tries we were finally able to catch the bat.
We contacted the property manager and told her what happened and she was rude and curt and wanted nothing to do with our issue.
It was a frightening and disruptive experience for my family. As bats are often rabid.
It was very unsettling for three nights out of our seven. This was not the experience we wanted to provide our family.
Nearly 50% of our stay was disrupted by this pest problem which we as guests had to solve.
We personally met with both the property manager and the owner, Katherine and besides offering us breakfast they were very dismissive and showed a lack of concern.
Lastly, their final communication was “Our position still stands. No further communication is necessary or warranted. Thank you, Katherine”
For a high end VRBO rental this was a very poor experience.

This summer is our 50th ( Aug 18), but our grandchildren are so involved in school activities in August that we decided to make the trip in June. Our family had never been to Maine and it was so wonderful to be able to share the beauty and history of such an awesome area of America. It was a bit cold, but no complaints. All 15 of us thoroughly enjoyed the house and area.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the property. Everyone enjoyed the beach which was a few minutes walk away from the house. The home was large enough for our extended family of 16 to have plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was well supplied with everything you would need for a large group. The indoor pool and hot tub were a wonderful plus.
A wonderful vacation for us to spend with our children and grandchildren.

The best part was relaxing on the front porch day and night with the outstanding view and just talking to one another. This house lets you reconnect with your loved ones yet gives you more than enough room for privacy.

We rented this property for a wedding weekend at the Stage Neck Inn. It was wonderful to have a place for the bridal party to gather and get ready. The photographer even used it to take photos. It is a beautiful home!

Beautiful ocean views and sounds. Ocean views from many rooms. Fantastic layout for large parties. Warm gathering spaces with multiple large dining options and multiple living rooms.The property caretakers were wonderful, very responsive and courteous taking every opportunity to go above and beyond. Dave and Jane were fantastic.Definitely recommend this lovely home.

The bride and groom loved your house. No one needed to drive. Leasurely walk back and forth from the activities. Only complaint was the urgency to get everything done by the 10:00 check out deadline, with no one coming in, and no clean up crew all day. Giving us an extra hour as a courtesy would have been nice.

We rented this property for our company's annual off-site conference and it worked great. Tons of common space - multiple living rooms with couches, two large kitchen tables, a huge kitchen with tons of refrigeration/dishwashers, etc. The bedrooms were large also. We appreciated the great views of the harbor and bay, and just a short walk from the beach.
Unfortunately we went in the spring and weren't able to take advantage of the tennis courts and swimming pool, but the week we spent there was a great experience.

This lovely house was just perfect for our tennis gal pal reunion with absolutely everything we needed right at our doorstep! Beautifully appointed with plenty of space for gathering; clay tennis courts, pool, beach, great restaurant, great shopping...it has it all!

This house and Stage Neck Inn were the perfect place for our three generations.
The house is beautiful and supplied with more than we needed. The rooms are spacious and the beds so comfortable. We enjoyed the 10 rocking chairs while having morning coffee overlooking the ocean. With 16 people is never felt crowded. This is one of our favorite houses and we look forward to returning. My children want to spend Thanksgiving here but it is already reserved.

Our family of seventeen loved our stay at the Seaside Cottage. The house was spacious, well supplied and perfect for our needs. Our extended family rents a house in a different location every year and this was everyone's favorite. We especially enjoyed having the resort facilities such as indoor pool at our disposal. The property was clean well-maintained and exceeded the descriptions. We would definitely rent it again.

This was our third summer at the Grand Maine Seaside Cottage and we will absolutely be back again. The house is ideal for all ages...our family includes ages 3 to 81. The rooms are spacious, the bedrooms are clean and comfortable, the kitchen is large and perfect for cooking for a big group, the access to beach, pool and tennis is superb. We park our cars and never have to leave the property (except to visit nearby Foster's for lobster and Dunne's for ice cream). We've been coming to Maine for years and this house tops all others.

We rented this gorgeous house for a week for our wedding at the Nubble lighthouse. It was incredible - and more than 8,000 square feet, I don't think "cottage" is an accurate description. So beautiful! We will definitely be back.

We have rented this property for the last 3 year and look forward to renting in again!!! Each spring we have a "Girls Weekend" for our family. We range in age from 25 to 85 and travel from all over the northeast for this terrific weekend!
The property meets and exceeds our expectations. The rooms are nicely furnished and always very clean. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking and chatting. The kitchen is supplied nicely with plates, glasses, pots and more.
We enjoy being so close to the Stage Neck Inn because we take advantage of the spa, pool and dining.
You can't go wrong with this property!!!!

My brother and I stayed over Thanksgiving week along with out mother, wives, and a total of four children under 3. It was the perfect house. Because of the layout each family had in essence their own floor of the house. The formal living room along with the TV room meant that there was plenty of privacy for adults and children. I really appreciated the number of refrigerators which enabled us to do most of our thanksgiving shopping in just one trip to the grocery store. Being associated with an inn meant that there was 24/7 support, especially when there was a bit of unexpected snow. The location is perfect with ocean views and a short hop into town for restaurants, shopping and groceries. We were able to enjoy everything that southern Maine had to offer. The size of the bedrooms and number of large beds made the house feel even more luxurious. We really felt that we were on vacation and able to truly relax. The kids loved exploring all the nooks and crannies of the house. They cannot wait to go back again next year.
