A soli 100 metri dalla spiaggia, e proprio nel centro di Tybee Island, The Blue Crab House è esattamente dove si vuole essere per godersi tutto ciò che questa vivace località balneare ha da offrire. Con un ampio parcheggio per quattro auto, c'è un cortile recintato, una vasca idromassaggio e una piscina di acqua salata riscaldata (*** si prega di vedere le note sul riscaldamento della piscina e costi aggiuntivi), tutti privati e a vostra disposizione. Una volta parcheggiati, puoi andare ovunque a piedi - quindi metti via le chiavi della macchina, tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno per una fantastica vacanza al mare è a portata di mano!

A proposito di golf cart: non abbiamo alcun problema con il noleggio di uno se ne hai la possibilità, ma poiché la casa si trova sul lato spiaggia di Butler / Highway 80, non è sempre possibile noleggiare un golf cart dagli affittuari locali. Questo perché ci sono regole specifiche su dove poter attraversare il traffico e la stagione di Butler. Tuttavia, mentre sei così vicino a tutto, e specialmente vicino alla spiaggia, speriamo che questo non sia un problema.

We loved the location. An easy walk down to the ocean, over to the store, or into town. On the beach, a stroll to the pier was easy - be sure to bring a bucket to collect shells. We loved the pool and hot tub at the house!!! All the amenities needed were provided!

After staying on Tybee last week at a different rental, this was a breath of fresh air. The CLEAN heated pool & hot tub were just what we needed. Safe & maintained after a previous weekend with a dirty hot tub that we never got to use because the host was so unconcerned abt its maintenance & never finished putting the chemicals in. We never would have wasted 3 nights had we been wise to the state of things there. Now we'll know who we can count on if we wish to return. Thank you for preserving that getaway spirit! We were abt to go back home rejuvenated. Thank you for the care you put in. It matters & we see it. Much love!

Awesome property, awesome location. Jack is a superb host that was able to answer all of my questions in a timely manner. Had zero issues with the house. Very clean and neat. Backyard/pool area is great! Highly recommend staying at this property.

The pictures of the ‘Crab House’ weren’t exactly accurate. Although the house was very clean, and well kept (pool and hot tub included), the accommodations do not match with the occupancy we brought. We had 6 people…4 adults and 2 teens. The pictures of the second bath does not do it justice…and justice not in a good way. The second bathroom is extremely small. The shower was made for a hobbit/midget/elf. I’ve never used a shower in which I were unable to even move (bending down is next to impossible for a regular sized adult. This bathroom is really a half bath. Also, the house is rather dated. Jack the owner seems like a great guy. My only suggestion to him would be to do a renovation to the home. Definitely renovate that second bath (a real shower would go a long way for comfort), update the cabinetry, new carpet in the bedrooms, and new blankets/comforter…just a thought. As for the location, it’s on a corner lot right on the main strip…there were a couple of “drunks stumbling by” that was a tad worrisome, and comical at the same time. The walk to the beach isn’t too bad…5 mins tops. That was a plus. All in all, it wasn’t a bad stay. The amenities were nice…pool, hot tub, fire pit, backyard with seating for picnicking. October weather in Tybee was really pleasant, and the crowds were nonexistent. The surf was too rough though (bummer). Trips to Savannah for sightseeing was also a plus! That was less than 30 mins away. All in all, it was a good getaway. We had fun.

What a perfect location for our girls trip! House was a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10-15 minute walk to the pier and shops. Really great gathering spaces at the house - both an inside dining table and outside table by the pool -where we all could sit comfortably. We loved having a backyard with pool! It was the perfect size for relaxing in! Unfortunately the hot tub was not working when we were there - but it did not ruin our trip by any means.
I would highly recommend this house and cant wait to go back!

Our annual girl's trip of 7 friends (from across the US) spent three nights at the Crab House on Tybee Island (a location new to us in every way!), and we had a great time. The house is in an excellent central spot that feels walkable to any place you'd want to see (even the lighthouse if you're into a little workout). You can't beat the convenience of the grocery store across the street. We used both the hot tub and the pool, which were clean and ready to go when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make dinner one night-- some starter spices, plenty of pots and pans and dishes, etc.
The house may cater a bit more to a family, given the bunk beds and sleeper chair, and I suppose the bathrooms may be a bit tight for seven women to get ready in, but we did know that going in since it was in another review and was still "doable". "Captain Jack" is a super cool host and you'll have a great time.

Our stay was exactly as we expected. The house had a very large communal space we spent most of our time in. Additionally, we loved the large backyard and hot tub/pool! The single "complaint" I have is the size of the second bathroom in the hallway. It was very small (included an extra small shower) but 100% got the job done! Sharing for those reading who care about this sort of thing with a house this sized. Host was great and very communicative. We would definitely come back!!

It was a great location for us. We enjoyed the home. AC worked great and pool was great. So close to the grocery store and the walkway to the beach was great. Bathrooms were a bit tight for the six of us but we were very comfortable. I would recommend it.

Wonderful
Blue Crab House was perfect for our family week at the beach. The location was great…..no crossing busy streets, close to the beach and within walking distance of shops and eating establishments. Having linens provided was a real plus and we appreciated the toiletries as well in the beachy bags. The arrangement of the living, dining and kitchen made it easy to spread out a little and still stay connected. The pool was a real hit especially with our young ones. Jack was a superb host! We would definitely stay there again!!

Perfect Location!
The little Blue Crab House is close enough to walk to the beach, and right across the road from IGA!! My family of six and an infant stayed here comfortably and really enjoyed our pool time!! You have everything you need when you stay here. Our first time to Tybee Island and staying at the Blue Crab House and as a memory we won’t forget! Thank you for the amazing communication from the host also;)

Spring Break
The property was exactly as advertised and the pictures are accurate. Terrific location; walk to beach or town. The heated pool and hot tub were perfect for the kids when it got a little chilly on the beach. We had a minor issue with the hot tub which was fixed within the hour of arrival by the property manager. Terrific service, experience, and overall experience.

Perfect Tybee Stay
The Blue Crab House is a wonderful cottage to stay in at Tybee Island. The cottage is very clean, charming, bright, and has everything that you will need for an enjoyable stay. The side yard with pool and hot tub is very relaxing and pleasant. The ocean is right down the street for easy access and a grocery store is just steps away. The owner(s) were very responsive with emails and informed us when any maintenance activity would be taking place. We loved staying here and I highly recommend choosing this cottage.

March getaway
House was perfect for our stay. Plenty of space and good location. Bathrooms could use updating but were okay for a few days. Amenities were very nice and well maintained. Surprised by the St Patty’s day parade which we were able to watch from the warmth of the living room!

We had a group of five women getting away for a long weekend and the Blue Crab house could not have been more perfect! The house is beautifully decorated, well-appointed, and the hot tub and pool were such a treat. We loved Tybee Island and Savannah and loved being so close to the beach.

Exceeded expectations
The pool and hot tub were a selling point for our group but having a fire pit and secluded back yard were perfect! Short walk to the beach, grocery store across the street and not a far walk to local bars and restaurants! Highly recommend!

Weekend Stay
Awesome experience. We came down for the Critz Tybee Run and this was the perfect place to stay. We had everything we needed. It was close to the race and we could walk to IGA to get groceries. The hot tub and heated pool were perfect for relaxing! The host was very responsive to messages. We had a great time!

Amazing stay at Tybee Island
We had an amazing stay at Tybee Island. The home we rented was exactly what we wanted. Plenty of sleeping 😴 accommodations. The heated pool and hot tub were very clean and exactly what we were looking for. Having the private patio was perfect to relax and enjoy our time.

Great house for family or friends. Rooms have some privacy and the kitchen is large for many 'working' people. The dining room table holds many and the pool, hot tub and fire pit are relaxing. The feeling of the house is 'homey' and comfortable.

Mini vacation
We had such a great time at this place! Perfect for family game time around the table, long soaks in the hot tub and fun playing catch in the pool. The beach was as beautiful as ever and this spot has no crowds at all. We will definitely be back!

Great times at the Blue Crab
Our family had a wonderful stay at the Blue Crab house in Tybee Island. Kids loved the bunk room. House was perfect for our party of 6. The backyard was an oasis of fun! Used heated pool, hot tub, and had s’mores around the fire pit every day. Very short easy walk to beach. Thankful owners had a beach wagon in backyard, helped tote all chairs/toys down to beach. Very convenient to IGA grocery store and restaurants. Owner was very quick to respond to any message. It was a great stay and would highly recommend the Blue Crab for your Tybee Island vacation.

The essentials are also top notch: plenty of space, comfortable beds( the bunk beds are as comfortable as the king and queen), updated appliances, plenty of natural light with windows all around. I highly recommended this home. You will not be able to get over the charm both outside and inside. It was difficult to leave.
