Our group of 6 couples enjoyed 4 fabulous nights at Stonecote. The house is beautiful, spacious, and extremely well-stocked with everything guests might need. There was ample room to gather at the dining table, in various places in the house, and on the front and back porches overlooking the lovely grounds. We had lots of fun preparing meals in the enormous kitchen and butler's pantry. We took full advantage of the 2 refrigerators, beverage refrigerator, and ice machine. The 3 dishwashers made clean up easy! The location was perfect for us! The house is a short walk to the park with lots of green space while still being only 20 minutes or less drive from everything else in and around the city. Our hosts were helpful and responsive during the reservation process and welcoming, gracious, and attentive during our stay. We felt incredibly well cared for and knew that - if we needed it - help was just a phone call away. There are many reasons why this property has so many 5-star reviews! It was truly one of the very best VRBO experiences I have ever had. Thank you, Lisa and Keith!

The property was amazing with all the southern charm and beautiful grounds. Lots of amenities provided. Keith was wonderful. Any problem was responded to immediately. The pool was the highlight with the kids and adults alike. The boys played baseball in the spacious front yard while we sat on the front porch. It is such a beautiful property and would highly recommend it. We would love to come back.

We all said it was better than the pictures!! Spacious home. Clean, well-equipped and the hosts were very responsive. We had a couple little issues and Keith came right over to address. Beds were all very comfortable, kitchen was wonderful, and the salt-water pool with the fans to sit under was perfect. Multiple large game and sitting areas. We will definitely consider renting this again.

The house is very charming with all the amenities! The hosts are very accommodating and unobtrusive. Our family had a wonderful time, enjoying the pool and the lovely kitchen!! The house was large enough to accommodate the entire family with enough bedrooms and bathrooms to make life comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

My family loved staying at Stonecote. The property was able to accommodate a diverse group of 14, ranging in age from 18 to 91. It was comfortable, clean and beautiful. The neighborhood and its proximity to Cherokee Park was fantastic.

This house was everything we were looking for and more. It was the perfect location to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary. The pool, the house, the grounds...everything was exactly what we needed for our large group!

Gorgeous home and beautiful property. We had 13 people, ages 7-77 and everyone was comfortable. Clean, nice linens, well stocked kitchen, and great communication before, during and after our stay. Highly recommend. The pictures don’t do it justice.

If you are looking to stay with a smaller or larger group, look no further. If you are in Louisville ti visit the Bourbon Trail and Whiskey Row the location is perfect.
We own a wedding venue and also rent out a Manor House for our guests and learned some things to do for our guests from Lisa and Keith.
If I can give them more then 5 stars, I would in every category.

Property owners were excellent to work with and the house was absolutely amazing! 4 couples were in town for my dad's 75th birthday celebration on the Bourbon Trail, and coming home each evening to an immaculate well equipped property was ideal for all of us! Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful weekend with two families on this beautiful property! It's convenient to almost everything, yet the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, surrounded my other elegant homes. We had a lot of fun in Louisville, but our favorite memories are just hanging out at the house together. We only wish the pool had been open, but it was still a litttle too chilly!

Not only was this property beautiful, but it was the perfect spot for our family get together. We had families from all over the US and were looking for a place to gather that would accommodate us and our crew. Stonecote fit us wonderfully. Comfortable bedrooms and great gathering areas. The kitchen was big and worked well for our big group.

Stonecote is a beautiful and extremely comfortable home for our extended family. We had 14 people ages 13-83 staying over Christmas and we all appreciated the excellent beds, fully equipped kitchen, grand spaces to gather and multiple rooms for retreating. Lisa and Keith were welcoming and super responsive. Thanks for a great week!

We had an amazing few days at Stonecote with our group of friends. Our group was in town for a football game and a couple of days on the Bourbon Trail. Lisa and Keith communicated beforehand with details and answered questions during our stay promptly. The home was well stocked and beautifully decorated with everything we needed during the trip. Multiple refrigerators, dishwashers and ovens made the kitchen ideal for cooking and gathering. The location in a quiet neighborhood was great and within 20 minutes of the airport and downtown.

This is a wonderful home for a large family in a beautiful setting. It is clean and comfortable and we could not have ask a for a better place to gather with our family! I highly recommend this home and hope we can stay here again.
The kitchen is well stocked and the location is close to many stores.

Beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood. Super convenient location, peaceful, and lots of space for a large family. The pool area is gorgeous, and we swam everyday. Communication with Lisa was perfect. I would of easily stayed a few extra days- it was the perfect family vacation.

I booked this property for a group trip that my friends and I like to take every 2 years, and couldn't have been happier with our experience. The house is beautiful, and in a fantastic location to see both Louisville and the surrounding area (should a bourbon trail tour be of interest).
The owners were great with communication through the entire process and very helpful with everything. I would definitely book here again and recommend to anyone looking for a house for a larger group.

I cannot begin to express how perfect our stay was in Louisville and in this gorgeous house! The house is beautiful! We had 6 couples in Louisville to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday and hit the bourbon trail. House was perfect! We all enjoyed the pool, the pool house, watching the deer in the yard, the well equipped kitchen, sitting on the beautiful front porch and the comfortable private bedrooms. The house is very clean and is in a perfect location. We have a very particular group and no one wanted to leave! Thank you to Lisa and Keith for being incredible hosts and for helping make it a trip that will remembered for a long time! We hope to be back again.

This was the perfect size for our large extended family celebrating a few 80th birthdays. The property was spacious and the added accommodation from the pool house was just perfect for everyone to have their own rooms. The beds were very comfortable. We did have a few issues but we communicated them to the owners and they were quick to respond and address our concerns. They were very friendly and easy to communicate with as they lived just a short distance away. The location was perfect for our group to go on distillery tours, museum tours and Churchill Downs.
It was also a great house to use the pool, play games and cards and cook all together as it accommodated our large number without feeling crowded. The weather was just perfect during our stay.

Went with 7 friends for a bourbon weekend and everything about the property was wonderful. Exactly as described in the listing and Lisa was very prompt and easy to work with. Great accommodations, amazing kitchen and the pool was the highlight. Location works well. House is very well stocked with all essentials. I would highly recommend this property.

We absolutely loved our stay. House was perfect for our work group of 10. The kitchen was amazing and had all that you need and more. Plenty of room inside to have our meetings and relax. Outdoor area is fantastic. We saw lots of wildlife and the grounds are large and lush. We went for a walk in the neighborhood down to a beautiful park. Can’t say enough about this house. Communication with owners was seamless. Great base for our bourbon tour as well!

Our stay was amazing and hosts were great. We were there in the winter, but in the summer it would be amazing with the pool. The house is big enough for 3-4 families to share. There were deer in out backyard the whole time. Property was clean. Will definitely stay again

My family and I booked the lovely Stonecote Estate for my 40th birthday celebration! We had a phenomenal time and the beautifully appointed 1920’s estate was the perfect home away from home for my family and friends.
The property owners were very kind, accommodating, and communicative. The location of the home placed us a convenient 10 min drive from most of the Downtown Louisville sites and attractions. The home had more than enough space for our large group to comfortably enjoy time together as well as take quiet moments alone to rest and recharge. The bathtub in the primary suite is lovely, the pool house is a terrific private space for guests, the grounds are beautiful for taking a stroll and observing wildlife and one of our favorite features was the large kitchen and dining table that lend themselves beautifully to family dinners like the private chef catered dinner we had for my birthday! We hope to come back in the future, in warmer months, to take advantage of the large outdoor pool!
One area to grow would be to have the address of the property be more visible. At night it’s almost impossible to see the address of the estate and our Uber/Lyft drivers and other deliveries had a difficult time finding us. They often got turned around and ended up in the driveway of the property owners who live next door. Another idea to take the experience of the Stonecote Estate to the next level would be to offer mid week house cleaning and additional towels. While the multiple dishwashers in the kitchen and the washing machine in the pool house are terrific amenities, we noticed that with a large group, the option of having the home cleaned mid week to include a supply of fresh towels would be a welcomed addition.
Overall, our stay was wonderful! The home is full of charm and it was truly perfect for my birthday celebration! Thanks so much to Lisa and her husband for creating such a warm and inviting space for friends and family to gather and create memories to last a lifetime!
