Vieni a goderti la splendida costa meridionale dell'Oregon in questa spaziosa casa con tre camere da letto e tre bagni situata sulla parte anteriore dell'oceano, appena a sud del porto di Brookings, Brookings, OR. Ha un mazzo espansivo che invita a prendere il sole, con scale private (con posti a sedere incorporati mentre salite / scendete) che porta giù da una spiaggia appartata di detriti galleggianti. Con la bassa marea, godetevi una facile passeggiata lungo la spiaggia (caccia alle conchiglie e pozze di marea in abbondanza) fino al molo del porto, a circa un miglio di distanza.
La nostra casa di fronte all'oceano offre una grande sala grande con un enorme camino in pietra lavorata a mano, vista sull'oceano dal pavimento al soffitto, tavolo da gioco / carte e tavolo da biliardo paraurti. Cucina rinnovata con armadi nuovi di zecca personalizzati, ripiani in granito, pavimenti in piastrelle e backsplash e tutti i nuovi elettrodomestici elettrici in acciaio inossidabile. La 'Captain's Quarters' o camera da letto principale / vista mare ha un re, la camera da letto 'Quarters' camere da letto / vista mare ha due letti Queen, e la camera al piano superiore (vista limitata) ha quattro letti singoli. Ogni camera ha il proprio bagno privato completo.
Trascorrere un week-end, una settimana, o un mese ascoltando il rumore del mare, come si addormenta e svegliarsi alla vista di onde luminose blu si infrangono sugli scogli della bellissima costa dell'Oregon del sud. Nelle vicinanze è possibile fare shopping presso i negozi Brookings Harbor Mall, andare in bicicletta sul percorso Oregon Coast Bike, visitare / escursione il Jedediah Smith State Park, o provare il golf presso il nuovo Salmon Run Golf Course. This was the best VRBO I've ever ever stayed in! (Apparently I have stayed in some subpar rentals.)It had the best views, of course, and all the amenities. I taught my 6 year old granddaughter the word panoramic referring to the view! My daughter managed to score fresh crab- in June, no less, from Lady Louise right at the harbor. We had so much fun teaching the kids how to eat Dungeness crab at the big dining table. The little square table was perfect for playing cards and coloring. When we discovered that we had forgotten the shrimp skewers, we found some in a drawer. When we needed a battery for one of the games, lo and behold, a stash of batteries showed up. I even found Spray 'n Wash in the laundry room when I managed to get butter on my shirt. My 3 year old grandson found all the sand toys in the garage, trekked them all the way down the stairs to the beach and played in the sand until we called him for dinner. The beds were comfy, towels were plush and bathrooms were very nice. The kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of appliances. My daughter was happy to find an intact broiler pan and the coffee in the cupboard saved me from having to go to the store. My only regret is that we didn't rent it for at least another night! Also the Redwood Nature trail is an easy, true Oregon hiking trail for kids. Only about a mile!

The view is breathtaking, and the home is beautiful, and clean. I would highly recommend this home. The hostwas totally on top of everything, and immediately responsive to communicating. I hope to return there inthe future.

First and foremost the view out the panoramic windows and from the huge deck is second to none. Incredible. Stairs to beach are safe, easy and have multiple rest benches. Great even for seniors.The beds are comfortsble, not too hard, not too soft, no mattress issues at all. Bathrooms are clean, have great towels, very good lighting and walk-in showers. Shower shoes would be a good idea for seniors in the downstairs bathrooms as the showers have tile floors.We never used the TV as the view from the living room was so captivating we had no interest in television. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking although you may have to look a bit to find a particular utensil or knife, etc. Seemed like whomever was there before us put a little bit of everything in each drawer. We cooked every meal at house for 4 days and had everything we needed.Guest have access to garage from inside house in order to get beach chairs and charcoal bbq. Propane bbq would be nice but we used the charcoal one twice and it worked really well.The location of this house alone makes it worth the cost. It is called Pelican Path for a reason. Make sure to be home and looking for Pelicans in the afternoon, if the wind is right they will fly up the coast above the bluff about 15 feet at most right over the deck. I am already planning to come back.
