Concediti un soggiorno a Casa Playa Blanca, situato su una delle spiagge più belle e incontaminate della penisola di Nicoya - Playa Blanca, incastonata tra 2 surf break di livello mondiale a Playa Junquillal e Playa Negra! Ti senti benissimo che sei in vacanza in una delle zone blu del mondo.
Rilassati sull'isolata Playa Blanca con un buon libro e una bevanda fredda, oppure nuota e fai snorkeling nelle acque limpide. La spiaggia è accessibile direttamente dalla casa tramite un sentiero privato in leggera pendenza.
Playa Junquillal è una lunga distesa di spiaggia a sud ed è perfetta per passeggiare e pettinare la spiaggia. Probabilmente vedrai alcuni surfisti e forse gente del posto che pesca dalle rocce, e il gruppo occasionale di cavalieri a cavallo, oltre a diverse specie di uccelli marini e, naturalmente, il Santuario della tartaruga che salva e fa schiudere uova di tartaruga. Se c'è una cova, puoi far parte del rilascio delle minuscole creature nel mare.
La proprietà recintata sicura offre privacy con accesso diretto alla incontaminata Playa Blanca e una piscina a sfioro in stile Bali deliziosamente tranquilla che offre serenità sia di giorno che di notte per il vostro uso esclusivo. Dalle terrazze e dal ponte della piscina noterai diverse specie di uccelli e farfalle.
La casa di 2200 piedi quadrati presenta un soggiorno a pianta aperta, cucina e zona pranzo che ancorano due master suite complete a nord e sud. Ogni suite ha un grande sistema di aria condizionata split, bagno completo e area salotto esterna privata. La camera da letto a sud ha un letto king size e la camera a nord ha 2 letti queen size.
Per gruppi più numerosi è disponibile una guest house sulla proprietà per 4 persone. Nota: la guest house non verrà mai affittata a feste diverse da quelle che affittano la casa principale.

We have been coming to Playa Junquillal for over 20 years, and this has been our favorite place to stay. (Even according to my 2 picky teenage daughters!) The house is beautiful. It is clean and secure. The grounds are lovely. The house is well-appointed with modern appliances and everything you need to cook or just graze on good snacks and frozen beverages. We used the path to Playa Blanca beach every day. It was a lovely walk in the morning while the teenagers slept in, but it was also the perfect spot to catch the sunset. The house is also close to Junquillal beach, where we would catch a few waves and a bite to eat at one of the many excellent restaurants. If you are looking for the perfect combination of relaxation and access to off-the-beaten-path fun and adventure, this is the place. We loved it!

Thank you for having us again Bob and Laura. Quite simply this is the most amazing place and I only wish I could have booked for longer. The new kitchen area is wonderful and with the windows it enhances the place.In short the best place to stay in Costa Rica on the most superb beach. 10/10 and absolutely wonderful. Can the budget stretch to another trip soon?

We were two couples, each with our own spacious bedrooms and bathroom. The house was beatiful inside and out. The beach was amazing. The pool was refreshing and the patios were shaded, but the pool was full sun. Mary offered up several restaurants to try and they were all fantastic.wWe love Lochitos and Corazon de las Pargas. The path to the beach changes with every tide which became one of our favorite things to watch. The path was easy our first day, but after that it became a fun and potentially dangerous hike. The beach is less for swimming but amazing to walk for seashells. I've never seen so many! Oh...and the sunsets!!!The AC was nice and cool. We'd turn it up durimg the day and it would cool off quickly in the evenings.Felix the cat is a real thing. He is always around and vocal. but the pool was usually full.sun..

This was our third trip to Costa Rica and our second stay at Casa Playa Blanca (aka Casa Andy). We wanted to escape the craziness of the COVID situation and the frenzy of the holidays. Casa Playa Blanca was a perfect solution with it’s remote location and peaceful outdoor space. More people were on the beach this visit than last time (July 2016), mainly local families. This was probably due to the holidays and dry season. Everyone respected social distancing. There were driving restrictions and curfews imposed by the government during our entire stay. As we had a rental car and didn’t drive at night, the restrictions did not hinder our activities. We had plenty of time to enjoy the beach even with the restrictive beach hours which began 2 days before our stay ended.There were a number of great restaurants and outdoor activities available in the immediate area between Playa Junquillal and Avellana. We spent many hours walking on the beach and exploring the tidal pools. While the Ostional turtle hatch wasn’t happening during our stay, we did spy several baby turtles in the surf. If you need crowds, shopping, and the nightlife, you won’t find that here. Head to Tamarindo or other points north to find those.Both bathrooms have been remodeled since our last visit with nice upgrades. Kitchen was stocked with all the equipment we needed. There is no TV and the Internet is spotty. We didn’t need either as we came to disconnect, so this did not detract from our enjoyment. The roads were still dirt but recently graded. This was as expected and probably helped to minimize the visitors. We utilized all of the gates, locks, and the alarm system and never had any problems with theft.The property manager Mary was very helpful and offered many suggestions for restaurants, catering, and interesting activities. Lochitas was highly recommended and we completely agree. We also had several meals from Lolas and Guacamaya during our stay. While dining in was an option for all of the restaurants we used, we did take out instead. Our biggest adventure was a four hour guided hike at Barra Honda National Park, about 1.5 hour drive. What a view with lots of wildlife! Yes, there’s more to do there than exploring dark caves.Thanks Bob and Laura for once again sharing your personal paradise with us!
