Wonderful stay and couldn’t recommend this home enough. Great location near the beach and an easy drive into Charleston. Grocery store and a few good restaurants down the street. It was a great place to host our Thanksgiving vacation.

Great home in terrific location close to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. Plenty of seating on the back porch with views of the pond and golf course.
The communication with the owner was amazing.

We are childhood girlfriends celebrating a milestone birthday. The Lagoon Cottage is a very lovely, uniquely designed property. Honestly, felt good vibes when I first saw the listing on VRBO. The owners were very professional, responsive throughout the bookings and during our stay. This place is a gem! Serene, peaceful, cozy, amble room inside and out. Very welcoming atmosphere, quiet, comfortable, awesome views of lagoon and simply very inviting. We splurged and had a chef come in for an evening dinner - the kitchen setup and dining area was perfect for our celebration. We immensely enjoyed our Birthdays and stay here and would welcome a return visit!

This property was absolutely perfect. We all had an amazing experience. Its so close to the beach. Its quiet (except for the cicadas) and was an excellent choice for my friends first visit to the south.

We so enjoyed our stay! The house was the perfect size for all 8 of us girls. We loved walking to the beach and around Wild Dunes. It was our first Isle of Palms experience and it won’t be the last!

We had such a lovely stay at this well appointed home. The location is beautiful, quiet, just a 5 minute walk to the beach, but without the massive amount of traffic on Palm Blvd. Will definitely look to book this again for our next Isle of Palms visit.

Can't share enough about how nice the house is and the location is perfect. The house is close to everything, clean, quiet, and with ample privacy even with neighbors being close by. The neighbors on the left and right are year-round residences and could not have been nicer.
We had a wonderful time with plenty room for our entire family of 6 and two friends from the Charleston area joined us for couple of days.
Lisa was an incredible host and communicated everything so well leading up to our stay we never had to connect while on our stay. Everything about the house and area was as described. Even, my kind of picky teenage daughter loved it and shared it was our best beach vacation and we have had a few so that was saying something.
I would recommend checking out the IOP Marina, fun place for lunch and to rent a boat if so inclined but make reservations well in advance. IOP Marina is a short bike ride or drive from the house. They also have kayaks and paddle boards for rent.
There are plenty of beach chairs provided and a beach wagon that worked out nice. We were not sure how far it is to the beach before getting there had a rough idea, it was closer than we thought, would say about 2-3 blocks though they are not true blocks per say, 6–10-minute walk and 80% of the walk is in the shade.
It is also an easy walk (about 5-10 minutes) to the Wild Oats resort area for tennis, golf, deli, coffee...etc.
This a perfect location and wonderful host for sure!!

My family had a wonderful time on our Isle of Palms vacation. The house was lovely. We loved the deck and grill. Perfect location! Within walking distance to the beach and view of lagoon was great! Lisa was so great with all my questions! Thank you for a great time!!

Convenient to wedding that was at the Boardwalk Inn. Lots of room for all of us. Property owners were very responsive when had an issue. Only issue was the parking because we had 2 trucks and an SUV. Not equipped for that size of vehicles.

The property was just what we were looking for! We enjoyed the family room to catch up with family, kitchen was perfect for dining in and the back deck overlooking the waterway did not disappoint with lots of bird, turtles and an alligator sighting!

We stayed five days to attend a family wedding. The house is beautiful, well equipped, and very clean. We walked to the beach in just 5 minutes and loved seeing the alligator we named Georgina glide by several times in the lagoon below our balcony.

We stayed at Lisa's beautiful home in the Isle of Palms for a small bachelorette getaway. This was the perfect place to relax after spending the day exploring downtown Charleston and the surrounding areas. While it was a bit too chilly to partake in many of the resort activities, the beach is a short walk away and a great location for watching the sunrise & sunset. I highly recommend this vacation home for anyone visiting the Charleston area.

Very comfortable and lovely home with a very well-stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed hanging out on the deck with the view of the lagoon- we never saw any alligators despite the signs!! Lisa was always quick to respond when we had questions.

Very nice home in safe gated community in Wild Dunes. Nice and quiet inside Wild Dunes and a nice change from the busier main part of IOP. Except for construction work on the house right next door (which no one can control) it was very quiet and private. Would def recommend renting golf cart to get around the island including the two blocks to the beach. Which is also super quiet and private which we loved! Overall great experience and lovely home with everything you need. Would definitely recommend this place for sure!

Since there were only 4 tickets for the graduation, my family was able to additionally stream the ceremony on the tv, while relaxing, eating snacks, and visiting. This home is wonderfully decorated, fully furnished, and so very cozy. We loved the porch areas, as we ended up out there all nights. We loved the comfy bedding and warm showers. We loved the views. We visited sweet water pool two days for awesome fun. My daughter decided to stay in Charleston, so I truly believe we will be able to return and stay at this home again in the future.

Location near the south end of Wild Dunes makes for easy access to the marina and restaurants and shopping on IOP. It’s an easy walk to the beach and to the central pavilion area of Wild Dunes. 15 years ago we stayed in a condo in a multi-story building on the north end of Wild Dunes ……. we won’t do that again as the “at home” setting of 9 Lake Village was some much more enjoyable. The late April / early May timing for our trip worked out great as it’s still “off season” and we were able to get into all the restaurants we were hoping to try and crowds were light. Great rental makes for a great trip!
