Charming home close to everything. We felt right at home and had a fantastic time in St.John’s NL

The house was very old, which was fine. The main bedroom didn’t have a window that opened. It was very stuffy, warm. Hooked up a fan and helped somewhat. Old musty smell throughout house. Bathroom could use a curtain for privacy.

Great location & perfect for what we needed.

Property was very pleasant. Bed was nice and comfortable. Property was dated, but nice and clean. Needs salt and pepper shakers. Parking was tricky sometimes. We would stay there again.

Very clean and comfortable.

The property is clean, basic and simple. It is a little farther then we thought, not conveniently located within walking distance especially with a little uphill/downhill for our elderly parents. The parking is right in front of the property which help. We would recommend for young family who do not mind a little distance walk to downtown. But accommodation is comfortable.

The location is perfect if you want to be close to downtown and all the fun of George street and water street. The house is old but has everything you need in a stay. I would stay here again if visiting St. John’s. Thanks for a great stay.

Location was perfect. Was clean and Victor had some fans set up for us form the heat wave. We will book again next time we come back east

Perfect central location.

Located close enough to down town to walk for a reasonably in shape person. You have easy access to the bus system. Close to a high end market and mom and pop variety store to purchase necessities if cooking for your self. Upstairs a little warm for hot days. All minimalist necessities taken care of, clean. Front door does not lock if you are away, you have the option of locking it and climbing out the kitchen window if you wish. The town felt safe and we didn't worry.

The house was perfect for our short stay in St John’s. It had everything we needed and was a nice 20 minute walk or so to restaurants and shops. Clean and cozy!

If you are considering booking this property, do not hesitate! This home is cozy, clean, and quiet. The bedrooms upstairs are lovely. There are three to choose from. The first one is bright and spacious, facing the street in the front of the home. The blackout curtains block out any light coming from the street at night. The middle bedroom is an interior room, without windows. This makes it completely dark, and it is a hidden gem on the property, because it creates an ideal space for severely jetlagged travelers to rest. The third bedroom is a lovely, quiet room facing the rear of the property. This room had a lot of beautiful natural light in the mornings. It's probably my favourite of the three. Downstairs, you will find a large and welcoming livingroom, and a full kitchen with dishes and utensils. There is also a washer and dryer in this space. We loved the little deck on the back of the property. Our host was fantastic, he provided support, and answered all of our questions throughout our stay. So if you are looking for a sign to book this property, this is is! You will not be disappointed.

The property is located in a working class neighborhood in West side of downtown which means you are not in the hustle and bustle of George Street and such unless you choose to be. Manager Victor and his family were both helpful and unobtrusive - there if you needed something but not there to hover (a nice change from one other place we have been to). The property has one bathroom which was an issue with two teens but the kitchen was complete - we made two full fish dinners while there. Everything is provided except food. It's an older house, so expect some sticking windows and some sloping floors, but these were minor issues if at all. And - say hi to Winston, the occasional visitor cat out back - he's friendly.

The property is advertised, not fancy but perfectly adequate. Parking at the door, and a gentle stroll down the hill to town. Just what we needed for our one night stopover, and good value.

The property is older but everything works. We really appreciated having the washer and dryer and having some soap provided. It was very basic but served out purpose well. Thanks and will recommend

We only stayed briefly for one night but it was roomy and had everything we needed. The only thing missing was a wonderful NFLD view!
