Overall a very good experience....grandkids loved the pool and park to access Lake Michigan beach was only 1.5 miles away.

This place was fantastic for my family! Besides myself, 4 of my adult children and spouses and 3 grandchildren also came. We all had plenty of room which the place had plenty of space. Clean! Lots of things to do....games, books and such. The pool was enjoyed by all! Time spent in yard with fire pit. We thoroughly enjoyed this place! Also near great beaches and
shops! We hope to come again!!,,

Great getaway!
We were very happy with the property and amenities! The spaciousness allowed the teenagers/young adults to hang out downstairs with plenty of space for the adults as well. The screened in patio was our favorite morning coffee spot and the pool was wonderful as well. Great property!

Where do I start? First Kris was amazing to communicate with, we really didn't have any major issues just a couple of questions and she was so quick to answer and very polite as well. Upon our arrival she had the multicolored lights and music on in the sunroom, a bowl with treats for the grandchildren, which they loved. Second, the photos online DO NOT do it justice. We were amazed at how much better the house and pool looked in person (not that it didn't look good online). The house and pool both were extremely clean.
For our 3 children and their families Christmas, we take them on a summer vacation every year. This year they told me that I exceeded their expectations with Krikits Treat. We spent 90% of our time at the house swimming and just enjoying each other's company. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 8 grandchildren. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made it easy to cook our meals. The beds were comfortable and very clean. Not one person complained about the beds being uncomfortable (usually at least one person does). The TV is very limited cable but she has fire sticks in the rooms that don't have smart TV's to watch Netflix, Hulu and such. But to be honest, my husband was the only one that watched TV ( he is not a swimmer) beside maybe one movie at night for the children. Besides the swimming pool area the back yard has a fire pit where we enjoyed a few fires and enjoyed the shade in the hammock in the afternoon. We have vacationed in Michigan several times but this has by far been the most relaxing. We all agreed that we will definitely go back to Krickits Treat sometime soon.

Great location, practically between St Joseph and South Haven

We had a wonderful time at this clean, well equipped vacation home. There were 9 of us from ages 66 down to a 2 year old and we all had a wonderful, relaxing time. The pool was the hit of the vacation where we spent most of our time. The house was roomy and originally 14 were supposed to be there, however due to job changes, 5 were not able to make it. It might have been a little tight for 14, but with all the extra couches and space we would have made it work. For 9 people, it was perfect. The house had all the amenities that were needed to have an awesome time. We would recommend this vacation home to others.

Perfect get a way for our family. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need for cooking. The pool and all the toys etc. was so enjoyable. So very relaxing!
Our group of 7 girl friends enjoyed a week at Krikits Treat. We were blessed to have perfect weather so we could take advantage of the beautiful pool and surroundings every day, and the sun room overlooking the pool in the evenings. The home was very clean, kitchen is well stocked and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for us.
Location is definitely secluded, which was perfect for our group, but close enough to a couple of coast towns to make a quick trip to the beach and shopping.
Potential guests need to take note that the home is a quad level as indicated in the description if stairs are a concern.

Great spot for a family vacation
We (2 adults, 7 littles) had a great time. The few issues we had Kris was quick to address and was incredibly apologetic. She even brought our kids extra rafts and glow sticks for the 4th!
Few notes:
Pool:
Not heated - it was super hot when we were there so it wasn’t too big of a deal, but would’ve been great to know that upfront. Aside from that the pool itself is FANTASTIC! It’s huge and the kids were in it all day, every day.
Grill:
Charcoal, not a huge deal just wasn’t in the listing
Driveway:
From the pictures we thought it was paved. Again not a huge deal at all, but the kids couldn’t use their scooters, rollerblades, etc. so just note you don’t need to bring that extra stuff! 😂
Beach:
Unless we missed something is definitely not walkable, but a quick drive gets you to many beautiful beaches.
Overall we had wonderful time and made so many amazing memories. Thanks Kris!!

A spacious getaway for mom with 3 adult kids and their partners
I loved having a private space where my kids could spread out and enjoy the pool. It’s just a chill house, equipped with many comforts. We enjoyed exploring the area (peaches and beaches). My 18-year-old loved the nature center and Klock Park beach. My 26-year-old daughter and her boyfriend loved the wineries in the area. My 23-year-old son was our driver and he loved the quick, breezy drive from Chicago — about 2 hours.

Amazing house for our family vacation!
My family and I stayed at the house for a week and enjoyed every second of it! The house was very spacious which gave us all space to separate if needed. Our favorite part of the house was the in ground pool, which was well maintained with plenty of pool toys, and the 4 seasons room. I would definitely recommend this house to other people! Kris was great to work with and very responsive!

Great vacation home!
We really enjoyed the very private setting of tall trees all around, a great pool with lots of deck and chairs and a very spacious home. The sun room was directly over the pool and a great place to keep an eye on the kids in the pool. Kris responded quickly to an issue with the trash pick up and we felt that any communication we would need to have would be handled quickly. Location was perfect for beach and a trip to Saugatuck for a dune ride and visit to quaint shops. Will be back!

Special memories for our family
There were no surprises with the rental and everything that was posted was as stated. Our family of 10, which included our 4 grandkids, ages 6, twins 7 and 10 enjoyed the pool and also the fuss ball table. We played games inside and out, had several campfires and took advantage of the screened in porch, overlooking the beautiful pool. Our son also proposed marriage to his girlfriend in St Joseph which was the highlight of our trip. We made several trips to St Joseph Coloma and also South Haven, so there was plenty to do within a short distance. We all enjoyed the beautiful beach, fountain, carousel and shopping in St Joseph. Kris called to make sure everything was to our liking and if anything came up unexpected, to be sure and call her.

Great experience/ Family Christmas gift
We planned a family vacation with children and grandchildren (3 - 16) and had an awesome time. The home is large enough for everyone to have their own space, and also gather as a group for meals and entertainment. The pool was fantastic! The grandchildren had a great time swimming and playing together.
Close enough to Coloma attractions: fruit stands, Chocolate Garden, etc. to not have to take a whole day away from the house. Saint Joseph is also close enough for a day at Silver Beach and visiting the Olive Cart and a wine tasting room, and of course more chocolate!
The screened porch was nice for those who did not care to be sitting in the sun and have access to Wi-Fi.
Lots of refrigerator space to numerous trips to the grocery store were not necessary.
Really enjoyed to warm pie Kris delivered upon our arrival.

Family Vacation
Our family of ten, including 7 adults and 3 children ages 1-5, spent a week here and had a wonderful time. The house is spacious for gathering everyone together, but also offers areas to go off by yourself. The pool was definitely the best part. It was clean and had lots of chairs and room to spread out. Loved the screened in porch and the privacy where the house is situated. You have to watch young children around all the stairs since it is a split-level. We had a few issues. One night it rained so hard that water came in the basement bedroom and got everything wet on one side of the room. Kept us from using it a couple of nights. Little things need attention, like loose towel bars, missing or loose covers on outlets, etc. But Kris was very responsive to our needs and sent someone right over as soon as she was made aware of the water problem. Not sure the house really sleeps 14 unless you want to put people on couches, but all in all, we were very pleased. Lots of things to do in the surrounding area.

Kris was wonderful to work with and very responsive to any questions. There was lots to do and lots of room to spread out. We enjoyed the grills and fire pit, games and the screen room above the pool is a perfect place for a quiet cup of coffee early morning or to watch the pool activity from a safe distance! The kids decided we should just ask nicely if we could stay another week! ha. The pool was wonderful and clean. We had outings to Silver beach at St. Joe and shopping and a wonderful lunch at BRIX at South Haven. A lot of memories were made this week and we are planning our next family trip.
