Secluded Cabin On Peaceful 100+ Acres with hot tub!
Cabina appartata (No WiFi) incastonata tra le cime della Doublehead Mountain a un'altitudine di 4000 piedi. Che domina il nostro stagno privato fornito di 2 acri. Situato nell'High Country della Carolina del Nord e circondato da oltre 100 acri di terreno privato perfetto per gli amanti della natura e il birdwatching. Ci sono diversi chilometri di sentieri escursionistici in tutta la proprietà che sono perfetti per esplorare. Gli avvistamenti della fauna selvatica includono l'orso nero, il cervo di whitetail, il tacchino selvatico e molte specie di uccelli tra cui oche canadesi. Dopo aver camminato ed esplorato, accendi un fuoco nella buca per il fuoco o salta nella vasca idromassaggio per rilassarti. Goditi un tranquillo relax, ma si trova a circa 30 miglia da una miriade di attrazioni della zona che includono Grandfather Mountain, Mount Mitchell, Roan Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Linville Caverns, Linville Falls & Gorge. Gli inverni si divertono a sciare nelle stazioni sciistiche di faggio, zucchero e Hawksnest. In estate goditi il rafting, la zipline e molte altre attività. Qualunque stagione scegliate, nessun altro vi darà pace come il nostro tranquillo rifugio privato in cima a Doublehead Mountain!

We did not read the full listing properly before booking and inquired about a WiFi password. There was none. We were pleasantly surprised because it allowed for us to check-out from the outside world and day to day distractions. We loved rocking in the chairs on the front porch while watching birds and other wildlife. The hot tub was the perfect addition to ensure our entire stay was relaxing. We walked the grounds and found several sites to see between pods, nature trails, a fire pit and more. This is a perfect place to book a quiet getaway for anyone of all ages.

This was an absolutely wonderful vacation spot if you want to get away, unplug and not be disturbed. It is not an ideal spot if you have a car because the drive way up is steep, rocky and trench laden...maybe a few photos of that part of the trip would be helpful to prospective travelers. But Jim tells about that once you're on your way. My hubby abd I would definetly return because it was exactly the tranquility that and sensory unwind that we were hoping for and needed.

The cabin is as it states. The road up is a 4 wheel drive rd as they state. Hot tub was perfect. Everything worked and lots of kitchen pots, pans, dishes etc. pond is so pleasant and know that there are other properties all over the place tucked in. Really enjoyed our rustic stay.

We were entirely unable to reach the cabin, as the gravel access road was too steep and sandy. I let the host know it needs to be more than a “recommendation” that folks will need 4-wheel drive. The listing said people without it had managed but we could not. We had to scramble to find alternate lodging and it was a frightening experience, along with losing the entire cost. I feel bad I am unable to answer some of the survey responses, but I want to be sure others get an accurate idea.
