We were excited to have a week of salt water therapy and this property was ideal! A very short walk to the public beach access and a wonderful elevated deck. Literally, every meal we ate at the house was had on the deck. Covered, lights, speaker, great furniture and an awesome view…. Perfect for meals, games and laughs!!
The interior was just as nice, bedrooms and baths exceeded our expectations. The outdoor shower (completely private) was a GREAT addition, literally 3 of out the 4 of used exclusively). If I could added a hose to spray off the walk it would have been perfect.
Overall, Bill + the property we nothing short of excellent! When we return to Emerald Isle, I have NO doubt where we’re staying!

Beautiful house and close to the beach. My only complaint is the queen mattress downstairs is very soft, and my husband and I had a difficult time sleeping on it. We do have a huge weight difference (120lbs), so people that are relatively the same weight would be fine. My daughter and I had no problem on it. Highly recommend and the owner is great.

It has been 2 years since our last stay here. I'm happy to say that everything about this house is still great: the inside is very clean and sized right for the number of beds, the kitchen is well stocked, the deck / porch have nice 2nd row ocean views and sounds, and the beach itself was not crowded, with plenty of space at high tide. We will be back for a 3rd stay.

Great home in a perfect location. There are two access points to the beach within a short walk. The home is in a great spot near shopping and grocery stores, as well as the beach. We really enjoyed the outside deck which was spacious and had a view of the water. The home was clean and the rooms were great sizes. We weren’t aware of the spiral staircase as it was not in pictures, but I do understand it was written in the listing after looking back- just something to be mindful of, but wasn’t an issue for us. There was a nice homey feel and overall a great experience, we hope to be back next year.

This is a great option for family or small group of friends, in an excellent location for a quiet stretch of beach and all the EI amenities. Simplicity at its best, with the most important components of a beach vacation for everyone. The property and house are clean and well maintained, and functions very well for beach life. The house has a variety of comfortable spaces for relaxing at the property. It’s great to have spacious parking in case you need it. The outdoor dining is perfect in any weather! (Anyone with mobility difficulties or those with small children should keep in mind there is a spiral staircase) Our family LOVED this house!

This beach house was a fantastic location! The description was very accurate and we were able to rent linens which worked out perfectly so we didn’t have to travel with them. The house was clean and the kids really enjoyed having the downstairs to themselves. A little more living room lounge / comfy seating would be great for parties of more than 5 as everyone fought over the couch during downtime 😃 The deck was awesome for morning coffee and The washer / dryer made things so easy - all my laundry was done before we even headed home ! Thanks for a fantastic place to stay with a short walk to the beach !

Bill was excellent to work with. The house was just perfect. Much more than we could have asked for. An just a very short walk to the beach. Can not think of anything that would make it better. Will definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful house and location
The inside of the house is clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, but with the new deck and covered porch, we spent most of our meals and house time outside. The walk to the beach is very short and direct. The beach itself is beautiful, spacious, peaceful and clean. We highly recommend this house!!

We enjoyed staying at 103 Clark Street, Emerald Isle, NC. The cottage met all our needs and was furnished nicely. Loved the palm trees, outdoor shower, walk to beach, and entire cottage. Bill was great to work with as well.

Emerald Isle Newbies
Our entire family stayed at this lovely beach house as we visited Emerald Isle for the first time even though we live in the Raleigh area. The house was even better than the pictures and the location was perfect. We really enjoyed our get away during the pandemic and felt very comfortable with the cleanliness of the house. Stayed here for a week with family - 5 adults and 2 kids ages 6 and 2. The house was extremely clean, cute decor throughout and comfortable. The location is very close to the beach and we loved the shaded beach access path. Was perfect for us.

Ladies Week in Emerald Isle, NC
Four great friends get together each summer for a Ladies Week. This year we spent a WONDERFUL WEEK in Emerald Isle at this charming, beach home. The house had 4 bedrooms and was plenty big enough to meet all of our needs. The beach decor was bright and fun. From the large outdoor deck, we had a beautiful view of the ocean and could hear the waves hitting the shore. Beach access was close and easy to get to. The owner, Bill, was extremely helpful in answering any questions we had and provided us with all the information that we needed as to restaurants and things to see and do in Emerald Isle and the surrounding areas. My friends and I all agreed that this was our favorite of all the houses we have rented during the past 8 years! I would definitely recommend this property to rent and would love to come back again!

Our family enjoyed the house and the location. Proximity to the beach was good too.
House was two stories with a master suite up on the kitchen and living room level and three bedrooms down. Each floor had dedicated bathrooms with showers and the house has an outdoor shower too for coming in from the beach.
The walk out to the beach was very reasonable. My kids took a surf board and or a beach chair and had no issue making the short walk. The deck was fun too, as it had outdoor speakers and a grill.

Our first time renting with VRBO and it was wonderful from start to finish! Bill was very prompt to answer my questions before we rented and even while we were there. The house was clean and well decorated. The beds and living areas very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We ate our meals on the picnic table on the deck so we could enjoy the views and the sea air. We enjoyed the Aquarium and Fort Macon but mostly we just loved being together on the beautiful beach. It was such a memorable vacation for our family of 5 and we are thankful to have had this time at Bill's house!

Great Vacation House
What a lovely house! It was everything that we were looking for - clean, close to the beach and fit our budget! I would definitely recommend this house to my friends and family. We cooked in 5 out of 7 nights and found everything that we needed in the well stocked kitchen. Our family ranged in age from 6 to 76 and every one was happy with this house! The TVs in every bedroom was great! The only suggestion I would make would be adding some different outdoor furniture to the deck. The wooden chairs became a little uncomfortable after sitting for a while.

We enjoyed another fantastic stay in this wonderful house on Emerald Isle. The house is clean and wonderfully maintained. It is a short and easy walk to the beach with the beach gear. We also love looking out the large windows at the ocean at night! The owners are great and couldn't make the process easier. Another great year!

We had a wonderful vacation at Emeral Isle!! The owner's are wonderful to deal with. tThis home is beautifully decorated! Great location!! Easy access to the beach and close to all the stores and shops. Great view of the ocean, and on a very quiet street. The bonus room downstairs is great for the kids!! Loved the outdoor shower and the deck. Landscaping was lit at night and is beautiful. Great sound system that has outdoor speakers. Bathroom on both levels was a plus for us (4 children). Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and serve our meals. Gas grill worked great. Looking forward to coming back next year!! Thank you.

The house was much more than we expected. We have been vacationing at EI for the last ten years....this house by far was the best we have stayed in. The house was very well decorated, furnished extremely well and clean. It was great being so close to the beach. We’ll be back next year.
