The Stone Cottage si trova su quasi un acro, lungo una stradina isolata di fronte al lago Michigan. Attraverso un paio di porte-finestre, appena fuori dall'ingresso, si entra in biblioteca, con una magnifica libreria e mobili confortevoli che offrono un rifugio tranquillo. C'è una sala multimediale che è perfetta per i giochi, la conversazione o semplicemente per rilassarsi con la famiglia e gli amici.
Dall'altra parte della sala della biblioteca c'è la stanza delle polveri e la lavanderia con lavatrice e asciugatrice a grandezza naturale.
La pianta a due piani è progettata con la master suite al primo piano. Ha una porta del patio di 6 'che va sul ponte e sul gazebo e un bagno completo con doppio lavabo e vasca da bagno. Il primo piano ha anche una camera da letto matrimoniale e una camera con 2 letti singoli.
La quarta camera da letto, il bagno completo e la sala multimediale si trovano al secondo piano.
Nella parte posteriore, il sole alberato ambiente boschivo, con un grande ponte e gazebo attaccato, sono perfetti per intrattenere la famiglia e gli amici. C'è un firepit nel cortile sul retro dove è possibile radunarsi la sera per conversare con gli amici o cucinare s'mores con i bambini. C'è grill a gas e tavoli per mangiare all'aperto. This house was well maintained and we enjoyed our stay. It was nice that it was big enough for our group of 10. The house was comfortable and the fire place was amazing to have. Location is excellent as well and the property manager was very friendly and constantly available. That being said, it’s a pet friendly property and on the contract I signed two days after booking it says you cannot leave pets alone in the house without kenneling them. That’s fine and not uncommon when traveling with pets, as I have done often. BUT the day we were meant to check in I get a text letting us know pets are not allowed to be left alone in the house at all if we are gone. There was an outside kennel available but prior to this there was no specification that pets needed to be kenneled outside rather than inside when we leave. I do not ever kennel my dogs outside, and I would certainly never kennel my 17 year old senior Aussie outside (esp in an unfamiliar area) who has mobility and sight issues. Being that it was the day of check in, what am I supposed to say at that point? That was very frustrating to me but I didn’t want to create a problem so I did not say anything about it. Just something for pet owners to consider when choosing a place to stay.

This was a perfect family vacation home. This home is perfect for a large family. It had enough room for everyone to have their space. The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, and spices for cooking. The firepit is large enough for the whole family to gather around and share some laughs. There is a walking path near the house which is great for a walk or a jog. Our family had one of our best trips in Door County at this home. We would like to especially thank Sharon. She was so helpful and made everything a breeze. Sharon, you are truly outstanding at what you do. Thank you for all your time and effort that made our trip so wonderful.

Perfect location for a stay with 3 generations of family. Lovely home - very clean and well appointed - with room for everyone to have their own space as well as areas to gather together. Conveniently located for all Door County activities.

We loved staying in the Stone Cottage. The house was very well appointed and very clean. The location was quiet yet very convenient to everything in Door County. The host, Sharon was very gracious and communicated everything very clearly. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful, clean, spacious home in a quiet, private neighborhood. Plenty of room for guests to both gather and retreat. There are many rules to follow, but they are reasonable and contribute to keeping the house well maintained. Thanks for proving a lovely home base for our family trip to Door County!

Retired ladies getaway trip. We enjoyed the view and comfortable furniture and cleanliness. Thank you to our host Sharon for her timely communication and meeting our needs. The house is really well taken care of and has all the amenities to make things comfortable. The backyard has a great setup for bonfires and a direct gas line to make grilling easy. The proximity to the lake, trails, and downtown Baileys Harbor made it an optimal vacation. We'd definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, spacious home with well-equipped kitchen, and very nice deck with gazebo and plenty of outdoir seating options. My family had a relaxing, fun stay here. We also enjoyed Bailey's Harbor and the various surrounding communities, parks, beaches, etc. Sharon was a very heloful host during our stay!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed a three day stay. The cottage is immaculate, spacious and contains all the amenities you could want. Lake Michigan is within walking distance as are scenic hiking trails.
The rental process and check-in were smoothly coordinated by our host Sharon. She was a delight to work with. We had one small problem with the air conditioning. The owner himself called us to help deal with this issue.
You can't go wrong renting this property.

We loved the house and it had plenty of room for all 10 of us. Close to the town of Baileys Harbor. Walked to Lake Michigan from the house. Clean and comfortable. Sharon was the greatest! Very friendly and easy to work with. House has a large back yard that the kids could run around in. We had a fire in the fire pit two nights. Great weekend with the family!

Plenty of space to spread out for 6 adults, good communication with host, Bailey’s Harbor and this house in particular a handy location for accessing different towns. Liked the quiet location and ability to walk to Bjorklunden trails from house. Extremely clean and well cared for. Generally well equipped kitchen.

We had a wonderful time staying here. My husband myself and our dog. Along with our son, his wife and our 2 young grandsons There was plenty of room for every.one. The property manager was easy to work with, she kept in touch answering any questions. This property is clean and the kitchen is well equipped.

The property was “as listed” . We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and was close to everything we wanted to see and do. Our rental manager, Sharon, was “spot on” answering every question in a speedy manner! Also Enjoyed our morning walks! A great time was had by all!

The stone cottage was great, so many amenities and space. We had Grandparents, adult children, and Grandchildren staying and we all had everything we needed. It was great to have the space to be together as a family. We had a wonderful time.

We loved the floor plan! Bedrooms are in three different areas and all have access to a full bath. There’s a convenient powder room off the living room. The outdoor area has a grill and fire pit, which got used by us. It’s located in a peaceful neighborhood, so it was very relaxing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is our second time here during the holidays. Our puppy loved it. It snowed and was beautiful and peaceful. Plenty of room for our 8 guests. And kitchen is well equipped for making meals there. Can’t beat Blue Horse Beach Café for Breakfast, Coyote Roadhouse for lunch, Bailey’s Harbor Corner Pub for Pizza, and the Brewery in Egg Harbor and the Door Peninsula Winery. Wonderful place!

This is a beautiful setting near Lake Michigan and downtown Bailey's Harbor. The house was well kept and had plenty of room with 4 bathrooms and many beds.

The house was well suited to our group of 3 couples. Each of us had a separate bedroom and bathroom space. The kitchen was well stocked with all the supplies we needed to make most of our meals at the house. We really enjoyed the outdoor firepit with the cooler fall evenings. The real treat was having the hiking trails for Bjorklunden right down the street.

The Stone Cottage was perfect for us. We are a family of 7, including spouses, partners, and our grand-daughter. The cottage was impressively clean, with plenty of linens and kitchen supplies. We loved the back yard and spent a lot of time out there; the fire pit was great with s’mores. The upstairs is really a 2 bedroom suite, perfect for families. This was a great place for us to stay, and I’m hoping we can return some day. Thank you!

Stone Cottage and the surrounding area was like being transported to another world. The trails at Bjorklunden down the road are beautiful-go explore and find a path to the lake! And the home and backyard was fabulous for everyone in our 3 generation family of 10. Perfect!

The photos don’t do it justice. It was our first trip to door county. The home is beautiful and spacious. It was so great having all the bathrooms for daily showers for everyone without taking half the day. Sharon was very friendly and made sure we had all we needed before and during our stay. The beds were all comfy except the sofa bed which sleeps like a typical sofa bed. We would definitely stay there again!!

My friends and I came up to celebrate a retirement. The house was just as it appeared in pictures and very clean. It fit all ten of us nicely. We enjoyed our stay and would do it again.

A warm and inviting home gave us a safe place to come during our children's spring break. The home was spacious, cozy, clean, had everything you needed to cook, plenty of great throwback DVDs to watch, touches throughout the home that put smiles on our faces. Door County, even in the "off season" is splendid, and the home is set in scenic and serene spot on the east/Lake Michigan side of the peninsula. Highly recommend!

The property is located in an excellent location. You can get to most of the peninsula in about 30 mins in the off season. The house itself is spacious with plenty of room how several adults and children to stay. We were pleased to find out we could bring our dogs with. The house and property are beautifully maintained. Overall a great experience for a family get together!
