The moment we walked in the front door we felt pulled to the fantastic views. The floor to ceiling windows, the deck, the fireplace, the couch and seating areas....everything was beautiful and centered on the most fabulous views. A 10* stay!

We very much enjoyed this tranquil, beautiful, Home by the Sea, with breathtaking views of the ocean, nestled amongst established trees, with birds and even seals frequenting close by. It is also convenient to a grocery store, gas station, and restaurants, though you wouldn't know it by the lush surroundings.

This was our second 2 week stay here . We love this place and hope to come back again. The private location at the end of the lane and overlooking the Trinidad Harbor is perfect. We never tired of looking out the expansive windows to see the tide change effect on the beach below the house, to watch the activity of boats, kayakers and paddle boarders in the harbor and the changing weather from fog to sunshine . The house is comfortably and attractively furnished. The gas fireplace was a welcome and cozy plus on a cool foggy morning. Love the small community of Trinidad as well. Can't say enough good things about this place. Had only one complaint. The deck barbecue had not been cleaned from the previous use. We could live with that.

This house has amazing views from every room, and a nice deck from which you can look at the water, grill some food, and listen to the waves. If you are a family or two couples, be aware that the second bedroom is upstairs in an open loft, so there is no aural privacy up there. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and linens, but bring your own coffee, tea, cooking oil, and other basics.From the driveway there are trails down to the lovely beach.Off of the trail are steps that lead up into town, where there is a very good supermarket that has everything you might need.

This was the most perfect house for a weekend in Humboldt county. The house is set back and away and is very private. The view is spectacular! We will definitely book again in the future! Loved this house!

The property had a spectacular view, but it was a bit dated. When we arrived the alarm went off & we had a hard time getting it to stop, but eventually the property manager was able to get it turned off. The bathroom was a bit small. The neighbor continued to close & lock the gate, which was a inconvenience when we were coming and going. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay.

We decided to visit the Redwoods for our kids Spring Break and found this unique spot for our family. Trinidad is a beautiful small town, quiet and isolated. You have the opportunity to enjoy the forest while enjoying the views and sounds of the ocean. The home itself has its own charm, it’s an older style, does creek when you walk and is on septic, but has everything you need for a relaxing and tranquil retreat from the city. Easy drive to neighboring Redwood destinations and a little market for all your eating needs.

Our third stay at this lovely home and our first in winter. Wonderful to sit in front of the fireplace and listen to the rain and surf. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable house overall. We were fortunate to not lose power but house is set up with ample lanterns and flashlights. This is a great house for a couple looking for a getaway.

This house is perched on the cliff overlooking a beach and Trinidad Bay and surrounded by trees. We loved it! Through fog and sun and lovely sunsets, a keeper for sure. Very cozy with gas fireplace, good sized deck, eclectic art, sculpture, and furniture from many different cultures, and generous supplies, an increasingly unusual feature these days. The house was clean and comfortable. Mostly just beautiful! Will def. stay again.

Tremendous Views
Perfect property for our first time visit to the Pacific Ocean. Quiet and secluded. Loved sitting on the deck with the Ocean views and the sound of the crashing waves. Centrally located to all the things we wanted to see and do. The small town of Trinidad has it's own special charm as well. Michelle and I loved it and plan on returning.

We really enjoyed our time in this home. Renting for a moth gave us a different perspective. We were able to relax, read, walk on the beach, walk the Trinidad Head and really enjoy the area. Restaurants are great. This is a wonderful home and area....we will return in the fall. My husband and I traveled to Trinidad with our two children ages 11 and 10. The house worked out perfectly for us. It was comfortable, well-appointed and very clean. I rarely think a property is clean-this house exceeded my expectations in that regard in most ways. Amazing views and convenient location to explore the surrounding areas. The loft worked fine for our kids at this age, but as can be seen in photos, affords no privacy to those in loft or those in living room. Photos are pretty true to the experience of the house, and if anything, the home feels even better than pictures convey. There's a pleasant mid century, artsy vibe and fantastic views throughout. We would happily stay again. Thank you!

The entire experience exceeded our expectations. The booking through Trinidad Realty was professional, thorough and straightforward. The home matched its description, was very clean, and the views exceeded our expectations. Nice touches like music playing upon entry and a bottle of wine left for our use were nice touches. Reid and Jonna were very responsive in helping us with minor issues related to new batteries needed for fireplace remote and a minor issue with TV reception. And they both went out of their way to return a valuable missing item left behind in error. Would highly recommend Sea Cliff and Trinidad Realty in the future. We loved the proximity to the parks and hiking and highly recommend driving the Avenue of the Giants or visiting Fern Canyon. Trinidad was the perfect location to explore all of Humboldt County.

The location is as incredible as the pictures show and the wonderful sound of the surf that you can't see. If you don't want to, you don't have to venture any farther than the very short distance to the quaint sea town of Trinidad and the Redwood parks nearby, as the restaurants and market are wonderful.
