Situata nel desiderabile quartiere Mata Grande / Mata Chica, questa casa è stata completata nel 2010 e vanta una spiaggia di sabbia bianca incontaminata, una piscina privata a sfioro con acqua dolce che si affaccia sulla barriera corallina, un ponte di osservazione a 3 piani, un palapa con bar, con refrigeratore per bevande e grill, 4 kayak per gli ospiti, e un'ulteriore cucina all'aperto con grill a gas, frigorifero per vini e posti a sedere per 10 o più.

The host, Alfred, is wonderful. He happily took Care of all of our needs, requests, and concerns.We arranged for Dianie to cook for us two nights and the food and cost was exceptional. Thank you,Dianie.The property could use some TLC but nothing that was a deal breaker. There is sargassum on the beach but Mother Nature brought that in. Alfred arranged a boat rental for us and it was wonderful. There were 8 extended family members making up our group and we had the boat to ourselves. The captain, Jamie and the guide, were first class hosts.All of our group highly recommend this trip to anyone looking a beautiful Belize experience. We snorkeled, swam with sharks, fed tarpen and frigates, admired seahorses, and enjoyed lunch at The Lazy Lizard..Wonderful fun for all of us at a remarkably affordable price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.The restaurant north of BajaMar Mambo's, is a must. Dress up or down but try this place. A 2 minute cart ride from the property and over-the-top food and service. There is a small bar just south of BajaMar that serves good food, on the beach and good music. Two or three minute walk.Several of our group went to Secret Beach, a 10 minute cart ride. I didn't go but our group enjoyed it. Less sargassum.Highly recommend this property to visitors looking for a laid back vacation on island time.

We had the best time connecting with friends during our stay at BajaMar. Alfred and his wife were great, and the cooking was on point! Great access to the water and short walk to a few restaurants on the beach. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a chill place in San Pedro with lots of great amenities and a friendly support staff.

The house managers, Alfred and Dianie could not be more helpful. They are friendly, always there to answer questions and provide useful information. Dianie is also a great cook and her evening meals are very fulfilling and there are always leftovers. Recommend the pineapple chicken and raisins and the fried chicken entrees. Dianie is also a marvelous baker and if celebrating a special occasion, check with her about a cake. Owners are lucky to have these two on the premises.
Unfortunately, the house is falling into disrepair. Perhaps because it is for sale and owner does not want to invest in upkeep. Never the less, the grill does not work, the dishwasher needs replacement, the stove needs replacement, and in general the house needs a very thorough cleaning, pool needs serious attention and the yard needs cleaning and replacement of dead shrubs and plants. The photos are of what BajaMar once was.
