Our family of 7 had an awesome time! The house had everything we needed and had a very casual, cozy and functional vibe. Everyone had their own bedroom and bath, the family room was a great place to congregate, the deck was phenomenal, and the view was incredible!! Our stay was a little late in the year, so the pool didn't get a lot of use, but it would have it was a month earlier. The beach was quiet, and we enjoyed our daily walks. The people on the beach were very friendly and enjoyed seeing the dogs running around. The downtown was very quaint with a number of restaurants, and we didn't have to go far into the Isle of Palms or Mt Pleasant if we wanted something different. Highly recommended!

Great house for family vacation. House is directly on the beach. At high tide, water is directly below the deck. Pool is an added bonus.
Property manager was responsive to requests and questions.

Loved this property. The layout of the house with the living area somewhat separate and away from the bedrooms was great for a multi generation family vacation. There are fabulous water views on 3 sides of that living area. Young adults loved the pool table; grandparents loved being so close to the water. The house being so close to the beach is unique at Sullivan’s. Bedrooms are simple and comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked; we cooked all week and had what we needed.

For anyone who has the dear memories of growing up in a lived-in, well-loved family beach house, I need not say more: this is it! This home is large enough to give everyone space, small enough to bring everyone together for meals or for time in rocking chairs on the ocean-overlook balcony. We played pool volleyball , had long sunrise and sunset walks on the beach. Well-stocked kitchen, nice linens in all bathrooms and beds, we couldn't have been more at home. We will be back!

The location was amazing. Right on the beach with easy access to the beach. Wonderful views from the deck. Saw dolphins in the early morning. Property manager, Sarah, very responsive. The house was spacious so we had plenty of room for the 9 adults plus 2 year old who stayed there. Air conditioning worked well. ( was a very hot week) The house itself including the pool area was pretty run down , could use some significant maintenance work. Not quite like the photos on line.

I was disappointed as I walked to the yard and pool. Lawn was not maintained and covered in ants. The pool and area around it needed a good cleaning and landscape attention. House needs minor repairs and TLC to bring it to its best potential. When I contacted Sarah the property manager with my concerns she had a gentleman there the next day to address ants and a few other areas of concern. Then there was the location. Absolutely breathtaking. Right on the beach! Waking up to dolphins putting on a show at least twice daily, sunrises and sunsets, sandbars to explore-have to time it well current is strong and changes quite fast, and an amazing deck.(which I fixed the sliding glass door to open and close that had been a prior concern from 2021 review) I would say current condition slightly overpriced but for the area reasonable. I hope they spend some time and money because this house could be a real gem. Lots of family memories made!

Making memories

Graduation celebration
We had the most lovely week at our favorite place on earth! The house is perfect and we were so sad to leave. We had many adult children stay with us to celebrate a high school and college graduation. The beach provides 360 views from the interior of the home. The pool and volleyball court are an amazing amenity and the home is centrally located. The house is well equipped and we had zero issues. I will absolutely be reaching out to the manager in the future. Wonderful experience! Thank you!

The house was right on the beach but it was a public beach so we had random people hanging out at the foot of the stairs going to the house.. The house was clean but a little more worn than I expected.
The air conditioner upstairs did not work but Sarah made sure that someone came out the next day to fix it.
All in all, it was a good experience

The Perfect Spot
Girls trip of friends old and brand new. Amazing space. Big table for meals and games. The number of bathrooms mentioned at some point by each of us - there were many and all were clean and provisioned. We had the ability to easily walk the beach each day. Will definitely return!

We loved the location right on the beach, beautiful views, large spacious home. My only complaint would be that the cleanliness of the house inside and out front was not clean as I would have expected for rental home.

Magical Location and communication for family trip!
Sarah was amazing from start to finish with communication! The property’s location couldn’t have been more beautiful for a family getaway. It’s next a a public access so plenty of people watching and a sand bar appears half of the day so boats docked and it was so fun to watch! The house is definitely lived-in, which was great for our needs. We felt relaxed and able to have fun without ever feeling like we were messing something up. It was clean and safe! VERY well-stocked. I shouldn’t have brought all the supplies we brought. They had a booster seat and pack-n-play for
littles for us to use! We left feeling like we just experienced a trio of a lifetime.

House was a great vacation spot
We really enjoyed staying at this property. We had a few issues that Sarah or Chris tried to address once we told them about it. The grounds are not nearly as picturesque as the photos appear but overall it was a great property! There is a public beach access right beside the property, so weekends were pretty crowded. We had to claim our piece of the beach early!

Spectacular ocean views
The house location was amazing. Gorgeous views of the ocean from all windows. The house was well stocked with supplies which was helpful. The house itself could use some upgrades and TLC .. the pool was nice but was never cleaned so it was full of sand and bugs.
Overall we had a great time!

On not at the beach!
We've rented for many years at Sullivan's, always "at or near" the beach, but this was the first house that was truly on the beach. Walk down the back stairs and you are standing on the beach. We loved our stay and will be back!

Ideal location with breath taking views
The outside of the house is in much better condition then the inside but the house was exactly what we were looking for! A little TLC would go a long way and the coffee maker needs to be replaced. Other than that, we had a fantastic time and would rent this property again. The property owner was extremely nice and hospitable and very quick to answer. We had no problems whatsoever!
