The owners of this property have an elite reputation for a reason. Not only was the property clean on arrival but the simplest gestures like drinks in the refrigerator, chocolates, cookies and coffee available made it stand out from every other place. They made it easy to get into and easy to check out of. They were available and responsive if I had any questions and so willing to help out when we needed to host a family dinner at the last minute. I can't say enough about the house and owners.

Newly redecorated inside. Walkable neighborhood. Close to grocery stores, pharmacies, Bradenton, Sarasota. A few nearby restaurants were very good. It was nice to have a washer & dryer to use.

Very nice house for a 2 week stay. Much larger than it appears to be online. Well equipped and immaculate. Tastefully decorated. Could use a few scatter rugs as in January the floors get very cold. Overall, nice and we would stay there again if visiting Palmetto.

This house was a great place to call home for a few days. We brought our two young kiddos with us and was spacious, inviting and clean. Communication with the owners was superb and would highly recommend. The location was great as we were In town for a wedding at the Palmetto Riverside B&B!

This cottage is so close to everything. It has been tastefully decorated and the beds are comfy. I found the home to be very comfortable and I think that you will too.

We quickly realized that we had rented a place that was neglected, not a 5 star rental as most reviews showed. One has to wonder what caused the existence of an unwanted guest in the rafters. The owners were quick to react to the issue, but they let us deal with waiting for the exterminator to come to correct the problem. We spent 3 days waiting for the exterminator to appear, one day for the repairs to be completed and the traps set, and two evenings waiting for the traps to capture the vermin. Finally in the middle of the fifth night, a trapped PALMETTO RAT fell out of the attic! We received no recompense as a result of this incident, and the owners never acknowledged the time we spent during our vacation dealing with this issue. With so much time spent at the house, the neglected areas began to wear on our nerves. We started with the backyard. We filled up 20 large garbage bags with dead palms, dead branches, and a variety of leaves, twigs, and sticks. Next the windows received a thorough cleaning, both inside and out. After being there for a week, it was time to change sheets. There was not a second set of sheets for either the master bedroom or the 2nd bedroom, plus the set on the master bed had some stains. The bedspread and blanket on the bed in the second bedroom felt like they had not been washed in quite some time. The bedspread and blanket in the master bedroom had the same issue. However, the bedspread also had a tear. All items were washed except for the master bedspread and additional sheets were purchased. The bedrooms were now in better shape. Now it was time to address the bathrooms. The second bathroom had no hand towels, no bath mat, and no place for the shampoo and soap to rest. The master bathroom had issues of its own. The bottom of the shower curtain was covered with black mold, there were no hand towels, the bath towels felt like sand paper, there was no bath mat in front of the sink, and the light fixture above the vanity had several burnt-out lights. On to the dining area, the chairs in this room had very little padding left in them. When you sat down, it was like sitting on a park bench. We made purchases to correct all of the above shortcomings, including throw rugs. Sadly, the owners did not appreciate what we did, and refused to reimburse us for the hundreds of dollars of purchases made. The items were donated to Goodwill by the owners. So the place is back to what it was, at least it is cleaner and minus one rat.

Great House and perfect location for us to get everywhere we needed around Bradenton. Clean, spacious and comfortable

Overall impression is great. We loved the layout of the home and the special touches Ben and Ann gave it prior to our arrival.

House is much larger than it appears on line. Had a wonderful time.

The pictures and other reviews were right. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back in the future. The house is fully equipped with everything you could need. Groceries, pharmacy and restaurants very close by. A peaceful safe walking neighborhood. I had family visit for dinner and they said they’d recommend it to their friends too.

This cottage is absolutely adorable! When you walk in , you can see the owners have put much time and work into this house. It has an interesting lay out as it is an older home but it has been renovated and updated with creative and beautiful touches everywhere. We had read the reviews which were all positive , and it was just as described by others "A very nice surprise"! We loved the front porch and used it every day. The washer and dryer did come in handy. We also utilized the entire kitchen over the 3 night stay. The only thing we would have changed was the thermostat to 68 (if we could have) But it was not a deal breaker by any means! Everything was great and we will definitely stay again when in the area.Thank you for having this home on the homeaway site!

The house is beautiful. Kitchen set up for a comfortable stay. Master bedroom was a dream! Grocery store not that far from the place. We were there for our granddaughter's graduation. Because of this place, not only did we get to watch our granddaughter graduate high school, but we had a chance to spend quality time with both of our granddaughters but their parents as well. The owners stayed in touch with us. There was a problem with a plugged sink but they got it fixed immediately. So impressed with the quality of the home and the owners as well. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the Palmetto area. Thank you Ann and Benoit for allowing us to rent your beautiful home.

Wonderful

It was close to everything we wanted to do. The house was neat and clean on arrival. Beds were very comfortable Grilling utensils would have been appreciated but we managed. Suggest including the washer dryer in the description for us it was a pleasant surprise. We spent most of our time here on the back screened porch where it was shady and cool. We would recommend this place The only real drawback was the size of the second bathroom but when necessary did fit two plus sized women

We enjoyed our stay that house was lovely the yard was lovely the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful we would definitely stay there again everyone from us parents from the teenagers down to the four-year-old just had a blast at the house and we miss it already

Great house with unique decor, obviously carefully compiled. Nice, working class old Florida neighborhood. Lots of folks out walking their dogs and babies at dusk. Extremely friendly people throughout the area. The best room was the front area outside the entry door. Great place to wake up or unwind. Was perfect base to explore the Palmetto/Bradenton/Sarasota area. Would recommend favorably.

Our family just stayed here on 7/20/17 & We were pleasantly delighted to drive up & see a well manicured landscape...Once we walked in we saw how the owners took time to make this cottage look so pretty & updated! The home is very spacious, all 3 bedrooms were good in size 2 being master bedroom size..The bathrooms were very clean & home was fully equipped..The home also had 3 convenient outside entertainment spaces..plenty of room for family get togethers..The kitchen was my favorite place! Stainless steel appliances worked well & the kitchen was pretty! The neighborhood was very peaceful too. Owners were quick to respond to any questions I had & were very flexible within a limit of course! This was our 1st family vacation on the gulf coast & we would definitely rebook this property!!! We HIGHLY recommend this home if you want to be centrally located to everything! Especially the fact that so many pristine beaches are just minutes away!! Thank you Ben & Ann for your hospitality❤

Loved the house. Everything about it was fantastic. The neighborhood was peaceful and quite, iys just a short drive from several fantastic beaches, the owners are wonderful. They were so helpful and informative the whole time and very easy to contact. Will 100% stay here again we loved it and it had enough space for everyone in our party
