Godetevi l'ospitalità di una delle a conduzione familiare, le micro imprese di Bend in una strada tranquilla in una accuratamente ristrutturato, 1922, ovest bungalow lato. Questa dimora accogliente, chiamato per i residenti Westlakes, 60 anni della casa, si fonde nuovi arredi e finiture, con carattere storico tempo e il fascino. La grande partita vanta splendidi lillà, caprifoglio e iris in fiore in primavera, un giardino delle farfalle selvaggio in estate, e l'abbondanza di spazio per gli uomini di neve e forti neve in inverno. Una grande casa per out-of-town nonni in visita parenti nella zona. Il Cottage Westlake si trova a nord di Portland Ave NW 3rd St.
La casa può ospitare fino a 6 persone in due camere da letto con letti queen-size in ciascuno (materassi nuovi 'NovoPure' per il 2014) e una full-sized divano futon in una camera familiare semi-privato, ma 4-5 adulti è probabilmente più confortevole. Un camino a gas rende il salotto accogliente in inverno. Estate sole fa tutta la casa allegro.
Il First Street Rapids sul fiume Deschutes (un luogo ideale per nuotare nelle calde giornate estive) è una breve (quattro blocchi) a piedi dal Westlake Chalet. Dal Rapids si può seguire la traccia del fiume a valle per miglia lungo un sentiero ben marcato.
A dieci minuti a piedi si arriva in centro per godere birrerie, ristoranti, negozi di antiquariato e, naturalmente, vecchio stile gelateria di Goody.

Another great visit to Bend and, once again, Eric and Barb and Westlake Cottage did not disappoint. Clean, well appointed, quiet - everything we needed for resting and relaxing after our adventures in the Bend area. Eric and Barb are excellent hosts - timely responses to our questions and always ensuring that we had what we needed to enjoy our stay. Definitely would stay at Westlake Cottage again.

We enjoyed our stay at Westlake cottage. It was easy to walk to the Deschutes River and find a spot to sit on a rock or dip your feet or even sit in the river if you so desire.
The house was clean. The towels and linens were great. The shower is fabulous and so is the soaker tub.
We love to cook and found all the dishes and cookware to be suitable for our needs.
Eric and Barbara are close and available to help as needed.
Mule deer roam the neighborhood and even hang out in the yard. Birds were abundant as we sipped our coffee in the morning on the back deck.
A perfectly acceptable house for a small family or a two couples to call home for whatever length of time is needed.
It’s easy to get to the main arteries and the downtown space from this location. The neighborhood is very quiet.
We explored Mt Bachelor, Elk Lake, sparks Lake, the McKenzie River and even went off to Crater Lake for the day. All trips were easy from this location.
A great vacation for us.

Our second visit to Westlake Cottage was great! The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived and had everything that we needed for an enjoyable visit to Bend. Barb and Eric responded quickly to our questions. We look forward to our next visit and stay at Westlake Cottage.

The house is very clean, well appointed and an excellent value since there is no cleaning fee. However, we're a little old for hard futon mattresses, so I'm afraid we won't be renting this place again. Despite the name of the house, there is no lake nearby.
