Nice stay, great views and close by town for whatever you might need. However, there's not easy access to the lake for out of shape or older folks.

Every year we do a week long family trip, this year took us to the Kalispell area and Glacier Park. Fortunately we discovered this incredibly clean and comfortable house on a cliff up from Flathead lake near the town of Lakeside. Plenty of room for the 5 of us with everything we needed. Restaurants, a small grocery and a yummy cafe are in Lakeside a short drive away. Sailing and kayaking are close by and the entrance to West Glacier is about 45 min away. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer location and a gorgeous view.

We were a group of meditators. The house suited our needs in a wonderful way.

This is an amazing property with a million dollar view! It is a hike down to the dock, but totally worth it. We had a whole cove all to ourselves. I would definitely recommend this property

The house was very nice. The access to the lake (Flathead Lake) was not as easy as the pictures indicate. Quite the walk down and climb back up. Furniture in the house was a little dirty. The previous guests had just checked out the morning we checked in, so cleaning may have been rushed. Overall though, house was very nice, and comfortable.

The cabin was nice, roomy and clean. It was easy to get a hold of Kathy for questions. The walk down to the dock is a little more strenuous than what we were anticipating. It seems that you may also have to share the dock space but we got lucky and had it to ourselves. Overall this was a great stay!

We really enjoyed this property. The front picnic area seemed to be smaller than the pictures indicated, but that's not an unusual thing to happen, photographers can get pretty good at what they do. The kitchen was also smaller than we thought but it worked out okay. The "hike" to the swim doc was quite a workout, 10 of the 12 of us were over 50. But it got us prepped for our hiking adventures. We loved the lake, so beautiful. Couldn't have asked for a better cove.

Our family of 11 had a great time at the Deep Bay Cove. The water was like glass and the lake was perfect for floaties and water toys. We played in the water every day and fun was had by all, 3 yr olds up to 60. Rented kayaks and paddle boards one day in Lakeside and they were so much fun. It is a bit of a hike to the water but we looked at it as good exercise. The house was great with very large comfortable bedrooms. The living area was huge and open to the dining and all of us could relax together playing games and watching tv. We hope to come back!

This house was everything we hoped for! The house was comfortable & cozy. It was the perfect sleeping arrangement for our group. The kitchen is on the small side but it just the excuse I needed to kick the kids out and let the adults cook in peace. The walk to the dock and lake is steep but the road is easily accessible. The water was clear and refreshing. We brought paddle boards and inflatable tubes, the kids & adults had a blast. The traffic noise was a little bothersome when sitting outside but we noticed it calmed down after the holiday weekend was over. We would definitely consider renting again.

We had 12 family members stay here. There was more than enough room for everybody. The lake is beautiful and peaceful (steep incline hard for older people). An hour from Glacier National Park and such a pretty drive. Would highly recommend!!

This property was very spacious, even larger than we needed for two people. We used it mostly for a workcation; the internet was shaky at times but for the most part it supported two full-time workers. I could imagine the kitchen being a little small if filled to capacity, but it was more than fine for us. It was a great change of scenery for us and I'd recommend it to others.

We really enjoyed our stay! The host was extremely accommodating and the photos of the space do not do it justice! We are already planning our return trip!

This place is amazing and close to so many fun things to do with your family. We enjoyed every minute there!

First the bay that this property on is SPECIAL. Like truly magical. Feels very private and the water is almost always calm. This alone is a reason to choose it. However you should know a few things that may affect you or not: 1. It is a steep (like would require 4 wheel drive to manage in a car) walk down to the lake. It was challenging for some of our older family and would be really hard if you had to carry an infant or had any physical disabilities. Even with able bodies we wanted to remember all our things so we didn’t have to do it a lot back and forth. 2. The Kitchen is TINY for the number of guests it hosts. As the other reviews stated there’s no food storage areas really either. What we did was to empty out the bookshelf near the kitchen and use it as a pantry (I recommend the owners just leave it empty so people can use it!) 3. The images on the site show an outside area that we were excited to use but it’s not as we expected at all. The table and chairs are right in front of where you park your car and it really just feels like hanging out in the driveway. There is no real outdoor space by the house. 4. We got a lot of bites IN the house. Not sure what it was from, we couldn’t see any mosquitos or anything in the house but it was real bad. So bring bug spray. 5. The WiFi when we were there was not adequate for working. The management definitely tried to help us by resetting the modem (it’s locked in a little room in the house so inaccessible to us) and they said they were going to upgrade the speed so maybe it won’t be an issue in the future but it was terrible for us as we were needing to conduct some business while there. If these things aren’t deal breakers for you then I would highly recommend the space. It slept us all comfortably, the location is amazing and we had a blast.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location felt very private and was a nice place to get away from the crowds. The bay is protected from the rough water on Flathead and is a great place to swim.

We had a great time with all our family. Age range between 6 months to 71 years, 16 of us! (A few littles). Great space for a big group. Plenty of room to hang out in house, beds for all, and the water/bay and dock was great!! Lots of fun lake time. The grassy area above dock was fun for lawn games! Dock could use a little tlc and ladder repair but overall was great! Used the boat slip which was Great as we brought a boat. The walk up/ down from that was very steep, good work out! The walk down to sun dock was a bit steep too but is a space to drive down which worked well for the grandparents! Great week of memories!

Our family had a wonderful time at the house! The location was great and we had the cove to ourselves! The kids ( grandkids ) enjoyed the upstairs room with plenty of twin beds. We will come back for sure!

Good - 3-1/2 stars. Kitchen poorly equipped, dock unsafe - ladder from water about to fall off. Property worn, needs attention. Enjoyed being able to go into lake many times while we were there. Quiet location in a isolated cove, nice view from cabin.
