Il Marina Suites di Straits Quay è uno sviluppo del famoso E & O Hotel Group e vanta un design incredibile e sentimenti estetici. L'unità si trova proprio sopra facilmente accessibile ristoranti sul lungomare, caffè, bar, boutique, saloni di massaggio, parrucchieri, noleggio di biciclette, e di Sam Groceria (un negozio di alimentari con prodotti locali e occidentali). Tesco e altri ristoranti sono a meno di dieci minuti a piedi.
Il quartiere intorno a Straits Quay è molto pulito, sicuro e conveniente nella sua vicinanza a ristoranti e altri servizi. Portate i bambini a stretto verde, un parco giochi d'acqua a piedi libero e pulito dall'appartamento. E non dimenticate di godere di una giornata di cammino o di notte con l'acqua, su stradine lastricate.
La nostra unità è in una splendida posizione in quanto si trova tra George Town e Batu Ferringhi, e lungo la strada da Gurney. Trascorri qualche giorno esplorando la storica città dell'UNESCO e altre passeggiate lungo le spiagge o visitando The Tropical Spice Garden, The Penang Butterfly Farm o ESCAPE Theme Park sull'altro lato dell'isola.

La linea 102 dell'autobus rapido riprende appena fuori Straits Quay. Rapid linea bus 101 preleva tutto da Tesco (circa 10 minuti a piedi). Entrambi gli autobus ti porteranno o verso Batu Ferringhi o verso la città, dove alla fine si fermeranno al Komtar Bus Terminal (dove puoi prendere qualsiasi altro autobus). C'è anche una fermata dell'autobus Penang Hop e Hop Off per la via della spiaggia a pochi passi dall'unità!
2) Afferrare la Malesia
Se disponi di dati mobili, ti consigliamo di scaricare l'app Grab sul tuo telefono. I driver sono molto più convenienti dei taxi sull'isola e il servizio è altamente raccomandato.
3) TAXIS
Se gli autobus non ti vanno bene o se non disponi di dati mobili ci sono sempre dei taxi che possono essere trovati proprio fuori da Straits Quay.

We enjoyed the apartment, it,s location and facilities were excellent.

My husband and I spent four wonderful weeks at Lilian’s condo. It felt like our home away from home!
The space was perfect and very comfortable for the two of us and came well equipped with everything we needed.The unit is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was had all the necessary items needed for cooking and preparing meals. Everything equipment was in good working condition. There was a very good supply of clean linens at our disposal. It was nice not to have to worry about dish soap, hand soap and shampoo since it was all supplied for us.
Lilian was very friendly and welcoming. She was easy to contact and responded quickly with anything we needed regarding the condo.
The location of the condo was excellent. There was a small grocery store in the complex that has everything you would need. It was handy have the restaurants in the complex for a nice meal out.
There is a wet market and larger grocery store within away walking distance. The 101-bus stop to Georgetown or Batu Ferringhi is just a short walk to the main road.
We had a nice time enjoying the pool. It was very peaceful and relaxing.
My husband and I will definitely come to Lilian’s condo the next time we are in Penang!

We stayed at straits quay for 5weeks in Jan/Feb. The appartment was very well equipped, spacious and clean. The pool was amazing and very quiet.
Our host Susanna met us on arrival even though it was 0100. Unfortunately our luggage was left in Kuala Lumpur by the airline. We could not get through on the phone to the airport the next day to find out when it would be delivered. Susanna helped us and managed to obtain information .Our luggage arrived at 1800 .
The only downside was the building works going on which made the area quite noisy at times. I think the photos need updating as the view from appartment is not as shown on Home and Away.
My thanks to Susanna for letting us stay in pleasant appartment.

Winter break.
We stayed at straits quay for 5weeks in Jan/Feb. The appartment was very well equipped, spacious and clean. The pool was amazing and very quiet.

Great location in Straits Quay, just 5 minutes to Gurney Drive and 10 minutes to Batu Ferringhi. Lot's of shops, pubs and restaurants in Straits Quay (you don't even have to go outside if you don't want to!). Sam's Groceria is downstairs as well. Great pool, small fitness center with just the basics. Susana is a great host as well. With all of the condos being built in Seri Tanjung the views from the condo aren't what they used to be but if you want to be down on the water in a great location this is the place to be!

Great location in Straits Quay, just 5 minutes to Gurney Drive and 10 minutes to Batu Ferringhi. Lot's of shops, pubs and restaurants in Straits Quay (you don't even have to go outside if you don't want to!). Sam's Groceria is downstairs as well. Great pool, small fitness center with just the basics. Susana is a great host as well. With all of the condos being built in Seri Tanjung the views from the condo aren't what they used to be but if you want to be down on the water in a great location this is the place to be!

Fantastic resort and a really nice apartment. Susanna was very welcoming to my wife and I. Fantastic pool in the complex which was great for early swims ( and later ones too). Easy reach of most area on public transport if needed or grab a cab! Highly recommend this place to others!

My husband and I stayed here for 10 days , enjoying all the comforts of home in a clean and roomy 1 bedroom apartment. The location above Straits Quay Mall and Marina , was so good as many restaurants, grocers and specialty shops were on our doorstep. Most enjoyable to sit downstairs on ground floor of the mall , overlooking the water. Tesco was a 5 minute walk away and Convenient to Rapid Penang bus service 101 caught out front to take you to Georgetown or north to Batu Ferringhi and further. The 102 service however, which swings by Straits Quay was “elusive “ . Grab or Uber cabs are also available. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

This is a place to be if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle ie it is in a very quiet part of town. The apartment is comfortable, clean and tastefully furnished. There is a fully functioning kitchen and washing area for your use and is well stocked with the required necessities. This is a top floor unit with a big balcony, although it faces away from the sea but you will still be able to get some seaview at certain parts of the unit ie the living room and left hand side of the balcony. The gym is small but sufficiently equipped and generally unused. The swimming pool area is also large enough for a decent lap. Travel-wise, it was easy to get a taxi to get to anywhere on the island. To put things into perpspective, it would take you 15-20mins to get to Georgetown in a car. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Thanks Shuli & Miguel for making it a wonderful holiday!
