Light, airy and modern comforts in the historic center
Questa casa è stata costruita quindici anni secondo i rigorosi standard di un architetto messicano e un proprietario americano. Situato in una stradina senza uscita, la proprietà è a pochi passi da tutto nel centro storico di Oaxaca, ma è straordinariamente silenzioso, soprattutto di sera e di notte.
Al piano terra troverete un piccolo salotto, una cucina completamente attrezzata e una zona pranzo, che si aprono tutti sul cortile interno. C'è anche un ufficio con un futon che si apre in un letto a una piazza e mezza e un bagno di servizio. Al piano superiore, troverete la grande camera matrimoniale con letto matrimoniale e bagno, con due lavandini e una doccia. Questo livello ha anche due ponti sul tetto con vista sulla città e sulle montagne. All'ultimo piano, c'è una piccola camera da letto con un letto full size e un piccolo bagno con doccia. Questo livello ha anche una terrazza sul tetto con viste incantevoli e privacy.
La casa dispone di Wi-Fi in tutto e un telefono che puoi usare per le chiamate in Messico o negli Stati Uniti e in Canada.
Nel giro di un paio di isolati dalla casa, troverai diversi buoni ristoranti, caffetterie, un tradizionale mercato coperto e negozi di vario genere. Santo Domingo, lo zocalo e altre attrazioni turistiche sono raggiungibili a piedi in dieci o quindici minuti. La stazione degli autobus si trova nelle vicinanze e i taxi sono facilmente salutati nelle strade vicine
I proprietari della proprietà sono americani che si sono innamorati di Oaxaca e desideravano una base di residenza in città da cui esplorare la regione. La casa è stata allestita per il nostro comfort e confidiamo che sarai felice lì come noi.
Il nostro responsabile della proprietà locale, Amado, ti incontrerà presso la struttura al tuo arrivo ed è disponibile per aiutarti in caso di problemi durante il tuo soggiorno. È anche un'ottima fonte di informazioni su Oaxaca. Anche se molto probabilmente non saremo a Oaxaca quando ci sarai, siamo sempre disponibili per telefono o e-mail.
Alma verrà a pulire la casa una volta alla settimana e potrà essere assunta direttamente se desideri che venga più frequentemente.

Could not have imagined a better home base for our three weeks in Oaxaca. The house is beautiful, such special architecture and details, incredible art, well equipped kitchen, amazing natural light upstairs and is cool downstairs, and more than ample indoor and outdoor living spaces. The views of the mountains from both bedrooms were so moving. Beds and pillows are comfortable and having 3 bathrooms was nice. Great water pressure and hot water. We were both working remotely and having separate workspaces with desks was great. The WiFi is as reliable as it gets here. There is no AC and it can get pretty hot in the house during the day so we often started working upstairs and then moved down and that was totally fine for us. We aren’t AC people and sleeping with all of the windows and doors open was so lovely for us. The only thing that would make this place better is more comfortable seating on the roof areas like a chaise or two, and a table and umbrella for shade. It was great to have weekly cleaning. I think this is the perfect neighbourhood- a short 15-20 minute walk into the centro and far enough away to be restful. Really nice to have the market around the corner, fresh tortillas, and a great bakery. Def get a crepe around the corner, catch a show at La jicara and wander the sweet streets. You won’t regret your stay here. Thank you Robert for having us!

We loved this casita. It was in a good location on a street with very little traffic. There is a good taco shop (El Sabor de Cecy) a block away. I loved walking the two blocks to the mercado with the vendors selling cheese, meat, bread, fruit, fresh flowers and yummy tamales. It is about 850 meters walk to La catedral restaurante for something more high end. ( the eggs benedict there were the best I have ever had) The place is just like the pictures. We loved the two spacious terraces with views of the mountains and the city. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to cook in. It really shows when the owner actually spends some time in a vacation rental. There is everything you need for your stay and it has a very homey, comfortable feel about it. There is some unique art work in the home that I enjoyed trying to figure out the meaning of. I loved the beautiful custom wood staircase. We stayed in Oaxaca for 18 days so we really appreciated how spacious and comfortable everything was. Robert was great about answering questions before our arrival and Amado, the property manager, was there to greet us and explain some things about the property. It was good to have him good over some things. We never did get the hang of the trash collection in the city. Ha ha. They ring a bell at some random time and you bring the trash out. But, there is an outdoor trash receptacle we used. We were there the last two weeks in October and the weather was perfect. Very clean.

The house is even more beautiful than the pictures! Delightful indoor and outdoor spaces! Each floor has its own bathroom and a patio. Amado greeted us when we arrived and helped out with all of our needs. We highly recommend this lovely home to anyone traveling to Oaxaca!
