We had a wonderful week at Marks, although when we got there his caretaker had not removed the garbage and we had nowhere to keep our bags of garbage but in the house for a day or two which got smelly. He had put a hammock down as part of the items we could use but removed it from the house which was very disappointing to my boys who were looking forward to it and left ours at home. There were a few issues such as limited wifi that we were not aware of before hand as well. The only thing we hated about the house is the lack of insulation between the walls. You could here a pin drop on the lower level. Needless to say everyone was a bit on edge in the morning from being woken up by the noise of walking on the floors Or morning conversation. And at night when the older folk went to bed early it was hard to fall asleep. Even though the kids tried to be respectful you could hear them. The layout of the house was amazing and whenever we called mark he’d try to figure things out. Lastly I did not realize how hot it got at night and on those hot nights even the cool mountain air does not cool you of and there are no fans in the house except ceiling fans which were of little use. On the cold nights by the time you need the heat you can’t get it because all thermostats are covered locked and controlled by owner so you must call him to adjust. By the time we realized it it was always to late to call. He has a washer dryer but we did not use it. And scant on the linen. Each person got 1 bath towel, 1 hand &1 washcloth for the week.

The cottage is HUGE and will give you both a rustic/log cabin experience but with ALL the modern trappings including excellent plumbing / kitchen and electronics. Very attentive owner who makes things easy but also takes very good care of his property. Rooms are large and you could sleep 12-13 people easily. Top two bedrooms have en suite FULL bathrooms - bonus. The huge wrap-around porch on the middle floor is a real highlight. You could literally do laps around it, Thank-you Mark.

Horizon77 was a delight in the country. The home is very spacious. We were a group of 8 and everyone had a spot without overcrowding each other. The home is set in a peaceful area with a beautiful view of the Baie in the distance. Mark was readily available when we had questions or issues.

Our family and friends spent a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at Mark's cottage. The place is very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. From the balcony we had a beautiful view of the Baie St-Paul and the mountains across from the cottage, as well as the sunrise. Definitely recommended.

The chalet was clean and comfortable with all the tools that one might need in the kitchen. Roma was readily available if we needed anything. The view from the chalet is spectacular. We recommend seeing Roma’s suggestions for things to do in the area (left on the coffee table). We went for a day trip to get the recommended trout pie and we were not disappointed! Highly recommend this location for a short or a long stay.

This 4-season, fully-equipped and comfortable home is a great get-a-way spot. Peaceful and quiet, with a spectacular view and all the amenities, you won't find a better retreat in the region. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Can't wait for ski season...

We loved the chalet, the magnificent views, and the peaceful environment. We enjoyed exploring Baie St-Paul, l’Isle aux Coudres, La Malbaie, Tadoussac, and Ste-Marguerite. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the chalet to others.

Chalet très bien équipé, super propre et lits très très confortables. Nous avons adoré notre séjour à cet endroit et nous y retournerons sans hésiter ! Merci à notre hôte, nous avons eu une excellente semaine ! Massif environ à 25 minutes de voiture.

Owner and support staff really helpful and nice. Beautiful Scenery. Convient distance to town and nearby world class skiing resort. Would really recommend it to my friends.

Eight of us stayed for 5 days and had a great time. This home is absolutely impeccable. The attention to detail is second to none. The views are awesome while sitting on the porch relaxing. Your out away from town but town is only 10 minutes down the mountain. If your looking in this area, this is the place. No disappointments.

This home was truly a beautiful place to be, set up in the hills but with magnificent views of the St Lawrence. Very well-equipped with spacious rooms....the wraparound deck provided many beautiful mornings and evenings.....it was the perfect places for our two families to meet and spend a wonderful wee in this lovely area. ...highly recommend Taddousac, the Charlevoix fromagerie was excellent, Quebec city. Roma provided a list of "pics," and these were really helpful (even though we hag been to the areas before this gave us a lot of new ideas : )

This is a beautifully appointed home with numerous amenities to make one's stay comfortable and pleasant. Roma is considerate, accommodating and highly responsive to all queries. The setting provides opportunities for serenity and total relaxation. Intimate enough for a couple whilst being well equipped for a large group. Highly Recommend!

We spent an entire week at Horizon 77 and don’t regret one bit of it. The cottage is nested on top of a small mountain facing the bay. We walked around a lot and drove along the coast but it is difficult to find a place with a better view than Horizon 77. Away from the village and the noise, you can take pleasure in the singing of the birds every morning, sipping a cup of coffee on the terrace. From arrival, we enjoyed every moment, the cottage is well supplied and we didn’t feel that anything was missing. Roma was kind enough to provide us with some information about the area and the most interesting places to visit or tips about best places to eat. We did follow some of her advices but also took a leap of faith and explored some on our own. Beside that we took the time to discover the area on land and water and had an enjoyable experience kayaking on the Gouffre river. On the communication side, everything went smooth from the first contact until the departure from the cottage. I didn’t feel that we got swamped with too much information nor I felt that there were any questions that were not answered on time, everything felt timely and appropriately. All in all, it was a lovely experience and we might consider coming back.

A picture-postcard of Baie St Paul and the St Lawrence Valley. The chalet is comfortable and cozy in the winter with a sauna and wood fireplace. The views are panoramic. You really feel you are in the heart of Quebec culture! We loved our experience.

Le site est fantastique et la maison est formidable. J'y ai séjourné à 4 reprises et c'est toujours aussi agréable. Je vais en faire une tradition .
