House was just as described and James was very easy to communicate with throughout the entire stay. It was nice to have a small bar across the street for an end of the night cocktail. It can get really noisy at night as mentioned in other reviews but nothing that a sound machine couldn't fix. Location was great as it was only 10 minutes or less to all the places we had on our list to visit. Overall a very nice house and would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Louisville area.

I enjoyed the stay but had a few hiccups. The floors in the main hall were warped / spongy One of the bedrooms is open and in he middle of home which is where the floor is warped. Host was nice and responded quickly.

We had a lovely stay here for a few days. James is a communicative and enthusiastic host. The space is clean, spacious, and accommodates a flexible range of needs. As others mention, there is a bit of street noise, but it didn’t really affect us. Beds are comfortable and you’re a short walk from tons of attractions, restaurants, and bars. The architecture throughout the neighborhood is a museum in itself. Highly recommend this place!

Three couples for a quick weekend, great place to stay. Close to downtown and so many cool spots right near the house. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to check those out because we already had so many plans. Property owner supplied all kinds of helpful information and extremely easy to work with. Two kitchens in the unit! Beds comfortable, lots of space. Was concerned about the noise potential given the location and other reviews, but didn’t bother us at all! Would definitely stay again.

Loved the place, loved the neighborhood, enjoyed our Christmas in Kentucky greatly despite subzero temps! Excellent host!

We had a party of 4 adults, in town for a bourbon tour weekend. The check in process was seamless, and the house was very clean. The house itself is beautiful and full of character. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was close to everything. We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return!

This property was exactly as described. It is in a nice walkable area with lots of food, drinks and shopping options. The road outside is a bit noisy with cars going by. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed it and would stay there again!

Very nice place, great breakfast and lunch place very near. Easy access, quiet neighborhood.

The property was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. We frequented the laid back bar across the street, which often had food trucks parked outside for a convenient snack. There was also a great breakfast spot within a couple blocks. Despite this convenience, the location felt safe and relatively quiet.

We had three adults and five kids in the group - it was the perfect amount of space and sleeping spaces for us. We wanted a place that would meet our needs - ability to make breakfast and other meals if needed and comfortable to lounge after going on long explorations during the day and in the evenings. The kids appreciated having access to their favorite apps on the TV's and the snacks. The adults appreciated the coffee maker and larger dining spaces. The nostalgic hipsters loved being close to the eclectic, retro, and toy shops. The only bummer was that the Shop Bar across the street did not have drinks to go!

It's in a great location in the Highlands neighborhood, close to many restaurants and bars. This is a much better option than staying directly downtown (and cheaper). It's also a reasonable walk to Nulu distilleries Rabbit Hole (well worth the visit) and Angel's Envy. It's a short drive to downtown. We visited several distilleries south of the city in Bardstown. The owners were very responsive and check-in was easy. One note if you're a light sleeper - the place is an end unit facing the street so you do get car noise overnight. Didn't bother me at all, but worth packing a noise maker if you think that would be an issue.
