This is my family's third year in STX over the holidays, and our first stay at Schooner Bay. The first thing we noticed was the amazingly clean smell as soon as we opened the door. Later when we met longtime housekeeper Carmel, we understood why things were so clean! This 2-bed, 2-bath condo is very spacious and well-appointed. We stayed for one month and can't say enough about our time in Tom's unit. Our 19-year-old twin daughters loved the walkability to several great restaurants (Bistro, Marias, No Bones), and we parents loved the safety of the area and condo complex. Overnite security guard right across the street from our unit was an added comfort. The TV started to go out a few days after our arrival. We were impressed with both Tom's responsiveness and property mgr Jonathon's quick action. He had the TV replaced and fully hooked up by the time we made it back from the beach that same day. The teens especially appreciated that while they were with us for part of the trip. They enjoyed playing video games, watching movies, and having music playing thru TV. I worked for part of our stay and fast internet and backup generator were both reliable and a must. The outdoor gallery was also spectacular and we went spent much time out there, day and night. The flowers & greenery around the gallery (& entire complex) is so lush, that you almost feel like you are in your own private little corner of paradise. We can't wait to come back and stay again in Tom's condo!

Property and condo was very clean and comfortable.Beautiful view of the bay and pool was wonderful. Unfortunately it was noisy in the mornings with the working dock near by.

We greatly enjoyed a week stay. The location was great with restaurants and stores within walking distance. The parking spot was within 15 steps of the door. We greatly enjoyed watching the hummingbirds every morning in the flowering shrubs next to the balcony where we are breakfast daily. The host is a most excellent communicator. He gave us some great tips on places to go and things to see. The photos of the condo are spot on. The bed was very comfortable. The host provided plenty of towels.

Vacationing in St. Croix
The property was well maintained, spacious,clean, beautiful view of the Christiansted Harbor and easily accessible to downtown Christiansted. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to others.

My husband and I, and two children (9 and 11) stayed for 9 nights. The condo is exactly as described, not fancy, but cozy and clean. We loved the gallery (great for breakfast with a view). The parking spot is very close, made it easy to haul our snorkeling stuff back and forth. Both pools are nice, clean, and with wonderful views (the pools are open until 10pm, so we loved taking a swim after dark, so beautiful and you can hear the music from the bands on boardwalk). The second pool is a little tricky to find, it's a bit of a walk, but my kids loved it as it has a lot of pool toys and games. In the apartment you get quite a bit of noise during the day, from the marina and other businesses located right outside (they were doing some repairs while we were there) but it wasn't a problem for us as we were usually out and about exploring the island. We loved the location, so close to Christiansted with its wonderful restaurants and boardwalk. Also, Protestant Cay and The Buccaneer are close if you want to spend a day on a beach with service, we did both and loved it. The location is wonderful, in a great spot if you plan to explore all sides of the island. Tom was very quick to respond to all of our questions. Overall, we loved it and would defiantly consider booking again.

Perfect location!!
Location is perfect!
We barely used a quarter tank of gas to get to the city/boardwalk for (4) days.
Host was very helpful in finding things to do & places to eat.
Housekeeping was friendly upon arrival (we accidentally arrive about 20min early).
Washer & dryer inside condo was helpful!
AC units in all rooms!! (I wish The unit in master bedroom could blow a little harder though).
We had our 14month old toddler with us and had no issues.
Location was very quiet. St. Croix is very laid back & chill.., perfect R&R. But the boardwalk gave us a little “chill” party time.
I would def book again!

Great Vacation!
My wife and I stayed at Scooner’s Bay for a nice 5 day vacation. The condo was very nice with large rooms and extremely clean. Quick 2 minute drive to downtown and within walking distance of No Bones restaurant and the Bistro Coffee and Eatery for breakfast. Great view of downtown from
the pool.

Great VRBO experience
Tom was a great VRBO host; easy to contact and communicate with as needed. The condo was just as described and certainly a perfect location as it was convenient to many of the things we wanted and/or needed. Check-in/Check-out was a breeze. Would definently stay here again .

Great location, neighbors, harbor views, sunsets!
My family just returned from Schooner Bay Condo's and we had an amazing time. This was our first time to St. Croix and will not be our last time. The temperatures, the beaches, the people, adventure tours were amazing every day we were down there.
The unit that we stayed in was great for our family of 4. The boys enjoyed the room with the 2 twin beds, while my wife and I used the master suite. The condo comes furnished with all of the essential items to dine in if needed, which we did breakfast most mornings. Even though they have a table for 4, we are outside on the patio each morning to hear the sounds of the island.
The condo is set on the side of a hill, overlooking the Bay which provides great views from the pool that we used each day in the afternoon hours.
Every neighbor that we came in contact with shared their stories of St. Croix, the local gems to find, the beaches to go to, the shopping markets.
Tom, the owner of this unit, shared so much helpful information to myself while we were planning our trip, guides and information for meals, activities, beaches during our stay.
I wish that we were still there and would use this property that Tom has again when I travel there again.

Continues to be a great home away from home...
I have stayed in this unit, off and on, for much of the past year. I keep coming back for several reasons: The unit is clean and well kept, the price is reasonable, the unit is well located on the island, and the owner is friendly and easy to deal with.
Oh, and while it may seem insignificant, I can't stress enough that the parking space assigned to this unit is the best in the complex! Space is at a real premium on the islands, and parking will leave your bumpers dinged up all the time; this unit has a simple drive-in space right up front, which leads to easy-in, easy-out.
I will continue to make this my home away from home as long as I can.

Amazing vacation
This was our first trip to St. Croix, but won’t be our last.
The condo was very nice, well stocked and close to a few very good restaurant/bars, and close enough to the Boardwalk to walk. No Bones, and Ocean View Cafe are very close, and we ate at each place, a few times. Everything from breakfast to dinner was excellent.
We met some really friendly people at the pool, who visit annually for extended stays, along with Peanut, the pool pup. Peanut was an added bonus for us, as dog lovers. The pool area is really nice, with a great view.
Tom, the condo owner was very friendly, and helpful. Any questions we had he was very quick to answer. Tom left us passes to take a sunset sail on the Roseway. We thoroughly enjoyed, the 2 hour sail, and highly recommend it.
We took a drive to Point Udell. It’s worth the drive, as it’s absolutely gorgeous.
We did a dog days’ out with a shelter dog; we went to Cane Bay Beach. The drive along the Northshore, to Cane Bay is beautiful.
We also enjoyed a “beach bum” day at Hotel on the Cay. It’s a nice beach, and the food was great as well.
Our flight didn’t leave until 4:00, and Jonathon the condo manager allowed us to leave our bags in the office, so we could enjoy a final walk to town, and some pool time before we left. Upon inquiring about a taxi to the airport, Jonathan kindly offered to take us. We really appreciated his ride to the airport.
St. Croix, in our opinion, is a nice combination of St. Thomas and the BVI.
