House was great! But, Needs improvement on temp control. Master bath needs shades. I think there may be a critter in the attic??? Thought we heard wrestling a couple different times from where the opening is in master bedroom…above entrance from stairs.

Everyone loves Oak Creek Canyon and this house makes your stay even more enjoyable. The house is full of surprises and craftsmanship that you just don’t see anymore. Everything and anything you could ever need is there! The views are priceless. Alex the host is a phone call away and there for anything you may need. If you are a VRBO traveler, don’t miss out on this house your next trip to Oak Creek Canyon, Az.

We enjoyed our stay. Having spices and a few cooking items like vinegars and oil was helpful. Also, the full coffee setup was appreciated. The stairs can be tricky, so not for those with balance or knee issues. There is more than enough space and we enjoyed being able to walk to town and local hikes. *for the host, your Red Rock pass has expired so we used our own national parks pass where we could and had to pay for a pass at one site.

Beautiful home and furnishings in a lovely and tranquil setting that’s very private, yet centrally located. The Zen Retreat was perfect for our multi-generation family vacation! The spacious kitchen is extremely well-stocked with lots of cookware, utensils, dishes, spices, etc., and was a fun kitchen for multiple people to be working in at the same time. We also all enjoyed the variety of outdoor sitting areas, including the large outdoor table for family dinners. Inside and out it’s a wonderful and comfortable home base for family adventures in Sedona!

It’s seldom a house has such an inviting, relaxing and rejuvenating vibe. We stopped here to rest and focus before hiking the Grand Canyon (Phantom Ranch). The kitchen had everything you could need, and the multiple conversation nooks and rooms made it feel spacious. Best of all was the LOCATION - we could walk to the huge arts center and the surrounding restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back!

This is such a beautiful home with touches of whimsy all around. From the beautiful tile work to the carved pillars in the dining room, it just felt like we were in another world. We loved the proximity to a coffee shop and Tlaquepaque and rarely had to move our cars. I appreciated having a property manager meet us upon arrival and give us a tour of the home. Shows that the owner cares about his property and his relationship with his neighbors. I would definitely recommend this home and will book it again on my next visit to Sedona.

We were a group of 6 adults in town for a family wedding. The home was spotless, well-appointed, close to town and perfect for our group. Rebecca made the check-in process so easy. Beds were very comfortable. We hope to return someday!

The house was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed our five day stay. The beds were also comfortable. Our favorite patio was the meditation patio up on the hill. My sister, brother, husband and I were there every afternoon/evening for wine, snacks and star gazing. The low lighting was so pretty. We are all in our 70's and the easiest way up to that patio was through the master bedroom, which meant we had to carry our shoes upstairs to put on before going out. The outside path had steps only part of the way up.
The location of the house was perfect! The views of the red rocks were awesome, you could see "Snoopy". We walked to Tlaquepaque twice, it was so convenient.

Great location. Quiet but close to shops, restaurants: easy walk. Home was so well stocked, clean and left nothing to want for. Alec, host, is so responsive to questions before stay. Clear directions for travel, check in and out. He even met us at the property when we arrived to orient us. We will be back. Have stayed at other excellent VRBO properties but Alec steals the show.

Beautiful home with all the modern amenities. Secluded and peaceful, yet close to the uptown and art district of Sedona. Wonderful views and close to hiking trails. Nice chef’s kitchen to prepare family meals, comfortable bedrooms, and several decks to enjoy the outdoors. Only slight drawback was the location of one full bath being on the first floor while the two guest rooms shared a bath on the second floor. The master suite was extraordinary however. Concierge Rebecca was wonderful answering any questions or concerns.

Home is amazing! It is wooded and feels secluded, yet close to many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Really beautiful retreat. Home was well stocked for cooking (pots, pans, spices etc). There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space for everyone. Very comfortable seating, rooms and beds!

From the moment we arrived, we could feel a sense of calm. This home is wonderful. Becca met us and showed us around the property. There are so many wonderful areas to explore. The home is beautiful inside and out and is so well furnished with anything and everything needed. The location is perfect within walking distance to many restaurants and the arts shopping area. We loved the meditation area!! A great place to dream, reflect and calm your spirit. We hated to leave and hope to return to this wonderful home/experience one day.

One of my sisters and I travel annually to Sedona to maintain our parents' grave site at the community cemetery. This was the first time that we stayed in a VRBO and it will not be the last. Over the years, we have hiked and driven all of the Sedona area but this house is absolutely incredible and represents everything that anyone could envision about Sedona. I look forward to visiting again. It was a great experience.

This home is absolutely wonderful. It is the best stocked vacation rental I have ever stayed. A true retreat just minutes from shopping and restaurants. Very quiet, roomy, and serene.

This property was everything we hoped it would be! Absolutely loved the design of the house. It was well-equipped and a very easy home for our large family. We had two little ones with us and they LOVED exploring the grounds (as did all the adults). We were in town for a wedding at Tlaquepque and this house was so close that we were able to walk and avoid all the weekend traffic! It was nice to get to meet Alec when we arrived and hear about the history of the home. We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to back again ourselves!

This wonderful private southwest decorated property was so well equipped and in a perfect location. Within walking distance of Tlaquepaque shopping district and fabulous restaurants. Gated patio and lovely serene meditation outdoor space. Even saw deer strolling through the property. Alec was extremely helpful with orientation to Sedona and quick to respond to texts. Lots of sightseeing and restaurant recommendations provided in the house. We highly recommend this special home away from home.

My husband and I love this home in Sedona. It's walkable such that the old town, the Tlaquepaque arts and shopping village, and many other restaurants and attractions can be reached on foot. There are many trails to explore just up the road. But the house itself is wonderful. Its windows gaze out at beautiful rock formations including Snoopy Rock. It's decor is restful and encourages relaxation. The kitchen is well equipped. The owner is attentive to the needs of the guests. We love staying here.

Rebecca, our concierge, was super helpful, and the owner, Alec, was always prompt to reply. We loved this house, and very much hope to be back one day for a full week. Great eclectic house in a beautiful location with many lovely outdoor areas to explore and enjoy. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Bedrooms are all located on the 2nd floor. Everything in the house is labeled which was very helpful. Highly recommend.

Alec’s house is amazing! Loved that you could walk/bike to just about everything from the house. Centrally located and close to hiking and Mtb trails. In addition, the house was very well stocked. Also, the property grounds were secluded and we loved the different sitting areas. The one up above the house was really cool!

This property sits very close to town. It was about a five minute walk to most shops and restaurants. Very close to hiking and biking trails. The house is very comfortable and well-kept up. We truly enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend it to others.

We loved the yard, location, and amenities. We had a few issues with the heating as one part of the house was hot and one was cold, but Alec was very responsive and helped us find some middle ground. Overall a very nice property.

The feel of being tucked away but close to everything in Sedona. Our girls trip weekend was wonderful, the owners had great recommendations for hiking and food. The views were lovely from the home, it snowed while we were there, so the scenery was extra gorgeous. We had an issue with the HVAC, but owner was very responsive. Kitchen layout is a bit odd but had everything we needed and the first flood could use some more comfy seating in the space, but small suggestions to an already amazing place!

WOW…loved everything about this home…it is true to the pictures and details in the property’s description. Being there was a Zen experience…nestled in the buttes of Sedona.
The entire home was spotlessly clean. So appreciated that there were labels throughout the kitchen area identifying where things were…and there was nothing needed…everything provided including K cups and a Britta pitcher in the fridge!! The beds/linens so comfy and towels soft. Shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, soap provided in every bathroom.
We spent our evenings rotating on the five different patios all adorned with decorative lighting and comfy outdoor furniture…stargazing, playing games, talking.
Pulling into the driveway after dark, the sconces light the perimeter and beautiful blue and white lights adorn the trees…breathtaking!!
Yoga pads provided, a mid-size cooler to take out for the day, even walking sticks and umbrellas!!!
Owner Alec responded immediately if we had any questions. As the property was ready, we appreciated being allowed in early. Thank you Alec. Beautiful home, we had the time of our lives!!
When we return to Sedona, your home is where we will want to stay.

I don’t usually post reviews but this place was fantastic! Very close to the center of town but also fully removed. Even with a 3-year old, we had a very peaceful, trouble-free, and relaxing stay. Thank you!

Location, location, location! We are frequent visitors to Sedona and this is our top spot to stay. In Sedina location matters and having the choice not to use a car is a must this property you can walk to all of Sedona's best! From places to eat, shops and trails no need to get in the car! The house itself is charming and has multiple outdoor areas with spectacular sunrise views.
The check in was easy and Rebecca is wonderful. This is our second time staying at this property and it did not disappoint.
