If you are coming to visit Cooperstown or just to visit the area this place is a must. The property and the house are beautiful. The place was spotless, the manager was so helpful. We will definitely rent again.

This house was perfect! Both the property manager and owners were attentive and hospitable. The house had everything we needed. It was close to All Star Village (10-12 minutes) but felt like our own vacation every time we went back there. Our kids really enjoyed the ponds and other games that were available at the house. The kitchen was well equipped, and everything was easy to find. We would definitely stay here again!

I feel like I need to start this review with “once upon a time”…. From start to finish this property was full of wonder amazement and joy!!!! LuAnn met us at the property to welcome us and give us a tour. Everything was more beautiful than we could even imagine… the deck, the views, the living spaces,kitchen .. EVERYTHING! We had 3 families- total of 6 adults and 4 teens and we all fit perfectly. Beds were super comfy, house was incredibly clean, kitchen was huge to cook, eat, and hang. Felt like we were truly AT HOME.. but in a fairy tale kinda way. We saw chipmunks, deer, ground hogs, birds, rabbits, frogs and fireflies… our boys fished and caught many!!!, went on the paddle boat and the floating dock, played games, had fires, BBQ’d and enjoyed the outside HUGE table by the pond, relaxed on the deck… this property truly blessed our families and created lifetime memories we will forever cherish! This was our second time staying at Denise’s house and we loved it even more the second stay. The house was spotless when we arrived and improvements done since last year were a nice touch. The property was relaxing and pristine as we remembered. We truly enjoyed hanging by the pond with our family, listening to music, and enjoying the breathtaking views. Oneonta is close for shopping and restaurants which makes this location very convenient. So many great memories were made. Thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property while our son played in Cooperstown All Star Village for the week! It was only about a 10 minute drive, so it was great to be able to come back to the home and relax and grab meals in between games. The property was clean and well maintained, and the property manager was really nice in meeting us when we arrived and showing us around. While we didn't have much downtime with baseball, my younger girls enjoyed fishing in the pond. We would definitely stay here again!

The pond, paddle boat, fishing and exploring were endless fun for my 11, 9 and 5 year olds. Air hockey and pool table were icing on the cake. The house was roomy with endless sleeping options, and kitchen appointed with every supply. The owners and manager were friendly and extremely helpful. We were here for baseball at All Star Village (house is in a great location for the tournament) but we would come back just to enjoy the house and surroundings again!

Couldn't have asked for a better getaway for a family that has been cooped up in the house all spring and summer. Owners and manager where excellent, house was clean and very well stocked with supplies and things to do. We spent 90% of our time in the park like yard catching frogs in the pond, playing games and chilling by the fire pit. Definitely recommended, definitely would go back. Kids are already asking when we will return! I will definitely miss watching the incredible sun sets and moon rises while having dinner (and a beverage) at the picnic table pavilion.

The property and the surrounding area is as beautiful, refreshing, and secluded as one could hope. Amazingly rich biodiversity and a clean, well-kept home. Very responsive and kind hosts <3

The boys spent all day fishing and catching frogs, even adding in mid day s'mores down by the fire. The house was clean upon arrival and Holly the property manager greeted us with a tour and even checked in during our stay to make sure all was well. Denise the owner was responsive to all messages and questions and offered lots of recos. We will be sure to return.

Denise’s house was perfect for our family especially during COVID. We were able to entertain ourselves between the beautiful sunsets, relaxing location, fully equipped kitchen, tv, swimming hole, fishing, pool table and air hockey. We didn’t feel like we had to leave the property to be entertained. However, Oneonta is very close if you are looking for restaurants and shopping. The house was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We felt the pictures online didn’t do this house justice. Denise was very accommodating and responsive. She has a property manager available if needed. My husband and I both agree this was one of our favorite rentals and would definitely go again. I imagine the Fall foliage is breathtaking here.

A great place to stay with our ten year old boys! Plenty of space for the 4 of us to spread out, an incredible view, loved the sounds of bullfrogs from the ponds next to the house. The house and kitchen are well-stocked and spotless. Communication with Denise was easy and quick. Walter checked on us after a storm. It was all very nice and relaxing. We recommend a drive to Oquaga State Park for a swim at a lake with a great beach. Plenty of farm stands in the area. Thanks for our lovely stay!

We had a multi-generational family getaway. The property was perfect for this: pond fishing (17 caught and released in an hour) and swimming, pool & air hockey, playing the video and board games we brought, s'mores over the fire pit, relaxing on the deck, walking barefoot around the well manicured lawn, plenty of eating space at the large dining room table, etc. All ages connected in new ways and made great memories. Most rental kitchens are lacking good knives or cutting boards, but not this one! There were also plenty of lawn chairs, fishing poles, frog nets, two life jackets, etc. The fishing tackle, pool noodles and blow up float were good things to bring since we had small children. The larger pond is a little more mucky than the pictures show, but that didn't stop us from swimming in it! The room set up is as follows: a large suite upstairs that has two beds separated by a staircase to the lower level with a low wall, and a bathroom. There is a lot of floor space for an air mattress there, too. The main level has the futon in the living room, kind of in the middle of everything, since it is a great room open concept, and a small bedroom and another bathroom. The basement has a bedroom with twin beds, a large rec area, and another bathroom. Since it is darker and more out of the way, we put the mattress down there and still had space to use the TV, pool & air hockey. There are extra sheets for the futon, but you will need pillows, and more sheets if you bring air mattresses. There is an abundance of towels!! The owner and property manager are very responsive to any questions or concerns. Every single person in our group wanted to stay for more days! If we have the chance to return we definitely will. It's a great place to get generations off of their phones and doing thing together!

We just spent 4 days at Denise's home and it was exactly what we planned and hoped for. We live in Manhattan and have been pretty boxed up in our apartment since the start of COVID. We were looking for a home where we could have isolation in a large space and also enough activity for the 2 tween boys to do. BBQ and a book for the adults, check! The boys were at the pond fishing every day and hung out on the floating deck. When inside, they fully utilized the "man cave" downstairs with matching recliners for tv, several rounds of pool and air hockey. My son was devastated when we left! The space is roomy, comfortable and great if you like walking thru trails, forest and roads. We had a really great time.

Perfect place to relax and stay. We were greeted by property manager and given a quick tour upon arrival. Couldn’t have found a better cabin in the woods to spend a nice long holiday away from NYC.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Denise’s lodge. It was secluded at the top of a long, steep driveway in the mountains. Even though it felt like we were isolated, the interstate highway was only 5 minutes away. The house has plenty of space and a lot to offer. It even has a swimming hole. Otego doesn’t have much to offer, but there are nearby state parks with easy hikes. The major attraction for us was Cooperstown about 40 minutes away.

Our family had an excellent week away from it all on this terrific property. The grounds are just as pictured and we spent hours every day outside. Everyone particularly loved the floating dock in the pond, which you can drift about on peacefully or use as a swimming or fishing base. We watched wildlife, did catch-and-release fishing, caught frogs, made s'mores, watched stars and satellites, and played lots of yard games (there was even plenty of room for a badminton set we brought along). I would recommend bringing binoculars for birdwatching and stargazing. The basement game room was also a big hit with our teens when they weren't outdoors. We also very much enjoyed visiting Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame, where the COVID-19 safety precautions in place were impressive.

The property was very clean and well appointed. The land was beautiful and felt very secluded, even though it was only a 15 minute drive to Oneonta and not much further to other great spots. The pavilion near the fire pit is great for meals and relaxing, even during the hot weather. The bedrooms were comfortable and nice and cool during the hotter weather thanks to the air conditioning. The wifi was not great, but that is totally expected given the setting and not a problem or a surprise. We also lost power a few times, but it came back on within a half hour or so. All told, a great week, and we would love to stay again.

This property was perfect for our week of baseball for our boy. One exit away from Cooperstown all star village, but still felt as though you were in the wilderness. Place was immaculate and Perfectly laid out for family. Each floor has a bedroom so even with 2 sets of grandparents staying with us, everyone had their own bathroom. The pool table and air hockey were a bonus for the kids as well as the ponds and 10 acres of property. Truly a gem. We are looking forward to coming back next year!

We had a blast staying at the Little's cabin. Super convenient to get to the Oneonta area, while still feeling far away from everything. The pond and firepit were perfect relaxing spots, and the house was warm, inviting, and entertaining with a bear in the kitchen and a moose in the bedroom! Would absolutely stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

The house and property are beautiful. The view is fantastic. Denise, the owner, was extremely responsive and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Our family stayed at this gorgeous cabin for a fun-filled weekend. This vacation home is stunning on the inside and out. It is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. There is so much room for everyone. The kids had a grand ole' time playing games, fishing and catching frogs. Yes - that is right....fishing and frogging right on the property! The adults had a lovely weekend catching up with each other. The property is adorned with flowers and shrubbery that call forth the most beautiful butterflies. And the night time - WOW - I had a hard time taking my eyes off the abundance of stars in the sky - I was awestruck at the view! The owners, Denise and Walter and the property manager were so attentive to our needs. They were wonderful to work with and they did everything to make our stay comfortable and memorable. A great time was had by all!
