Bayside Shore Front Cottage Near Bar Harbor
Costruito nel 2001, il cottage è progettato per godersi il tempo dentro e fuori durante le nostre estati spettacolari. E 'situato in una posizione tranquilla 75 piedi da alta marea. Ha 4 bdrms e 3 bagni. Nessuna strada o sporgenza da percorrere quando si cammina verso la nostra spiaggia privata. Siamo a 25 minuti da Bar Harbor e 20 dal Parco Nazionale di Acadia, e solo 7 minuti dal Bar Harbor Airport e 35 dall'aeroporto internazionale di Bangor. Ora abbiamo INTERNET AD ALTA VELOCITA DA Time Warner e TV via cavo con un DVR. Abbiamo due TVS a schermo piatto. UNO È IN SOGGIORNO L'altro È NEL DEN / BDRM. Ora abbiamo un terzo bagno.

Il casolare si affaccia sul tramonto e Blue Hill Mountain tutta l'area dell'oceano inter-costiera di Union River Bay e Blue Hill Bay. Scale di legno passo verso il basso per una tipica zona di marea Maine, tranne che per il torrente sul lato sud della proprietà.
Al rocce bassa marea drappeggiate in fitto intrico di alghe di colore giallo-verde e marrone-viola circondano la nostra spiaggia di ciottoli. Questi sono chiamati Rockweed e sono una parte importante del nostro ecosistema costiero. La costa offre molte possibilità per la pettinatura e l'esplorazione della spiaggia. A svuota ruscello nella baia sul lato sud della proprietà e incoraggia gli uccelli e altri animali selvatici a visita.
Un grande ponte e un balcone vicino alla camera da letto al secondo piano sono ottimi posti per fare un picnic o per stare fermi e godersi uccelli canori, anatre, gabbiani, aquile, a volte tacchini selvatici, scoiattoli, persino foche e falchi pescatori, a seconda del periodo dell'anno.

3 generationally together quite comfortably. The house is lovely and spotless. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Two nice seating areas. Excellent access to the water for our kayaks. At low tide there’s a great pebbly beach. Convenient to Ellsworth shopping and Acadia for all its activities . Host was very helpful on a few occasions when we had question.

We had a great week at this home. A nice home base for trips into Acadia and Bar Harbor, but also nice to sit by the water and listen to the birds and watch the wildlife. The home was perfect for our needs, very clean, spacious, and comfortable! Thank you!

We loved our stay. I liked the layout of the house better than any Vrbo I've stayed in. Two of the bedrooms have wonderful views and small private bathrooms. The house was great for two couples (what we had) but could easily have been very comfortable for three couples, since the bedrooms are spaced out and all with bathrooms. The house faces west so the view of the sunsets are spectacular! We cooked local seafood every night and found the kitchen equipped enough to do so. There are small stretches of woods between the neighboring houses so the house and beach area feels very private. We loved the creek in the woods emptying into the ocean. And the tides are extreme enough that it was easy to have an evening fire below the tide line. Only blips were minor. Our disappointment that the wood stove in the house was off limits (ie insurance) And there was a neighbor with an unhealthy relationship with his leaf blower on several evenings.

This home has everything needed for a long stay.
Lots of towels, kitchen well equipped and lots of books and games.
The view was amazing.
However mosquitoes were horrible making it difficult to sit outside at night and enjoy the sunset.
Tiki torches or fire pit would be recommended to decrease mosquitoes.
The house is VERY dated and needs some TLC. ( toilet seat taped together, furniture very used, one bath was very stained from use and the other had mold around bottom of door)
Kitchen microwave and cabinets need a good wipe down as well does the area along lower cabinet over hang (lots of food crumbs, dust and dirt)
We also had an issue with spiders during our stay.
Several in sinks and showers.
The home does not have central air conditioning. It would have been nice to open windows for the breeze . However the screens do not fit correctly. They are for older windows.
The town and area are nice. The drive to downtown Bar Harbor was at least 30 min and 25 to most parts of Acadia area. We did not mind the drive because we wanted to be on the water and have some privacy.
