We loved staying at this lovely, cozy cottage literally right on the river. Very clean and comfortable. The neighbors were so welcoming, and suggested Wanda's Cafe and Bakery in Nehalem, which is a delightful must-do. (Get there early if you want to snag any of the freshly baked breads to take home.) You will enjoy the indoor and outdoor amenities, which for us included two seals fishing and munching on their catch right in front of the cottage.

I stayed at River’s Edge for a month, and I was made to feel welcome and as if I were staying in my own home. A beautiful time on the river, which allowed me a much needed time to re-energize and regroup. Loved it.

The pictures of the cottage are accurate except for the view pictures. The view is even better when you see it in person. You are literally right on the river with little fishing boats and tons of wildlife to watch and even a herd of elk across the river at nightfall. The pictures of the cottage are exactly as you see. It is so cozy and very clean and so comfortable for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything that you would need and the bed is so comfy. It was so lovely sitting on the back porch with a glass of wine in the evening staring at all the beautiful scenery and nice to have a covered area on the porch if it is raining. The neighbors in the park are so friendly especially Peggy the manager of the park. The owners are great and always available if you need them for something. I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. It is only a short drive to Cannon Beach, Seaside, Tillamook and other little towns on the coast but a much quieter place than the more touristy places to stay. We will definately be returning to this lovely little cottage.

The property has such a serene, picturesque setting and the house itself was spotless and fresh! We had a wonderful stay and PJ was always so responsive and accessible! It was perfect!

Quiet absolutely beautiful view. Comfortable bed. I had everything I needed to investigate the area. Enjoyed the herons and the eagles.

So lovely by the river. Heron, kingfisher across the way, jumping salmon out of the river, and an eagle perched atop of the pine tree just over the cabin. Hummingbirds zipping by and flickers calling out. So beautiful at night with the moon shining over the river and the stars bright overhead. The deck was perfect to take it all in. The cabin is roomy enough for two and has all the necessities of home. Very clean. We would definitely stay again. Very close to Nehalem and Manzanita. The Nehalem state park is a must see. Downtown shops at Manzanita are lovely. Close to Cannon Beach.

The TV did not work, the gas grill was covered in cobwebs and would not light. The queen bed was great, however the hide a bed very uncomfortable. The river location is awesome. The owners could change some furniture and cozy it up for a more enjoyable stay.

Darling little cabin right on the Nehalem river. Saw many Salmon fishermen trolling up and down and several large fish caught. The cabin has every built- in you could imagine except for a dishwasher. I've never been to a rental with more closet space and all the hangers you could possibly use. Because of illness we unfortunately had to leave a day early. Highly recommend this charming little getaway.

We've stayed four times now and love it. Management is great. Space is small but perfect for my husband, our 14# Lhasa and myself. Great Blue Herons, Eagles Nest across the river, tide moving in and out. Already can't wait to return. Book now! You won't be disappointed!

June stay in Nehalem
Great property, I’d consider it a tiny house community. We enjoyed starting and ending day on the deck. Close to all the major beaches, trails, hikes, cities. The food and people in Nehalem and Manzanita are great.
The neighbor brought us fresh flowers in a vase when we arrived, I slept on the pull out sofa and my daughter on the bed and everything was great. Thank you for sharing your space.

What a beautiful spot, the views of the river and surrounding landscape were stunning! Very friendly Management and neighbors at the park - we felt at home. The home is extremely clean!

Secluded Nature
My wife and I came here for for an anniversary getaway. It was the most beautiful location for a vacation rental I’ve ever been to. If you appreciate nature and a quiet escape you won’t be disappointed. There are also an abundance of spectacular hikes within a 20 minute drive that go through rain forest and look out over sea stacks, beaches, and ocean. Hope to come back here someday.

We came to the Oregon coast, knowing there would be heavy winds and rain. Our cozy cottage in Nehalem kept us warm and dry as we observed the adjacent river, landscape and skies. The cottage was very comfortable and provided everything we needed for our stay.
We would definitely stay here again.

In a small RV/mobile home park with charming little homes and friendly people. Close to “downtown” Nahelem and Manzanita. Large deck is great for watching the little boats go by, the birds, and the fish jumping. Part of deck is protected from wind by glass on three sides.

We loved that this destination was right in between Tillamook, Cannon Beach/Seaside.
We went to Rockaway Beach, Tillamook, Manzanita and Nehalem for food.
We could of easily fixed things too but I cook all week and wanted to relax.

Cozy in the middle

Another great convenience is that this cottage is only minutes away from the beach. It only takes around 20 minutes to get to the amazing Cannon Beach. And do not leave this place without stopping by and trying the delicious homemade ice cream at Buttercup Ice Cream in downtown Nehalem.
