Had a great experience here, couldn’t ask for a better location! Very short walk to the beach and walking distance from a lot of restaurants/shopping. The unit was clean and the porch was perfect for relaxing and watching the sunset. Would definitely recommend!

We chose the 2 bed 2 bath apartment. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. The view from the deck was awesome, you can see sunset right from the deck. It’s also close to a lot of good restaurants and shopping. Will definitely come back again if we happen to visit the area again.

This was our 3rd stay on the island and the best place we've stayed yet. The house is well positioned, right across from the beach. The porch is awesome for sunsets. The house was comfortable and everything was really clean. We were also appreciative of the good condition of beach chairs/umbrella and wagon. It was great!! Thankyou We'll definitely be back!

My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic anniversary trip at Mike's place. Self check-in was a breeze and Mike did a very good job of communicating with us. The wrap around deck and views of the gulf is obviously the gem of this rental! We loved taking in the sunset from the deck each night. Inside is very clean, charming and has everything you need for cooking and the beach. The cooler, chairs, umbrella, and cart were so useful to have. We loved the location of where we were at. Only a couple minutes to walk to Bridge Street and all of the shopping, restaurants and bars there. We had plans to go up to Pine Street at the north end of Anna Maria one day, but once we parked our car - we never wanted to leave the area, and had no reason to. The beach across the street was not very busy with other people. It was so nice to feel like you had the beach to yourself. I would highly recommend Mike's place to anyone and we would gladly return!

The best part of the trip was the huge second story deck with a perfect view of the ocean. The place was comfy and cozy and the beach chairs, wagon and umbrella were a perfect addition.

This property was perfect for our needs. It was very clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. We had a very early morning flight and got to the area earlier than expected. We drove by the place to check it out and met the owner - he was very accomodating and gave us tips for the area and allowed us to check in early once all necessary cleaning had been completed.
The beach area right across the street is perfect - it's one of the only areas that's not crowded. The owner mentioned the reason for that - I can't remember what it was, but it was definitely noticable - if you look at the beaches up and down from where we were, they were much more crowded.
The place was very quiet inside. The views were beautiful. The sunsets were incredible. We could walk to restaurants and convenience stores, but parking was easy and driving anywhere we wanted to drive to was easy too. We will definitely come back!

My family of five, all adults, spent one of the most memorable vacations of our life in this Salty Living rental. The views of the Gulf, the deck, the prime location and the very comfortable apartment totally isolated from the heat and noise, gave us such great times that we know we will always remember. Walking to the beach and to the historic bridge street of Bradenton was really easy and quick. Mike, our host, stayed in touch with us for all we needed with great support and response. We all highly recommend this beautiful place!!

We had a great girls weekend ! This is in a great spot for walking to shops, bars & restaurants. Directly across from the beach and beach gear was provided. We will be back!

We had a great stay! We were a couple blocks to the beach and towels and chairs in the rental allowed us to pack light.
The Bridge St. restaurants are a short walk, but the best restaurants and stroll was right over the Cortez bridge, only a 10 minute walk.
Mike responded right away when we had questions about storage for an early checkin and helped us find grocery delivery- zero need for a car the entire week.
The rental was very clean, especially appreciated by two ladies who don’t like Florida bugs.
Thank you for a great visit! Enjoyed the outside porch almost as much as the beach.

This was our 2nd stay at the property and needless to say, we will be back again. Captain Mike’s property is perfect- super clean and comfortable. You can’t beat the location- close to beach, shops and restaurants. He’s thought of everything you could possibly need. We brought our kids (in their 20s) this year and they loved it too! The two bedroom unit was perfect size for our family of 3 adults. Very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, nice that it included beach chairs, cornhole, and other toys to enjoy the beach. The best feature for us was the large deck, with the high lifeguard style chairs which allowed us to see over the railing and watch the waves roll in while we sipped a frosty beverage! Plus the location allowed us to walk to shops and restaurants. Very much a plus in a place where parking is sometimes a challenge.

My husband and I and another couple stayed for a week in the two bedroom upper floor unit and had a great time. The rental is very clean, the kitchen setup is great, and the two bedrooms/two bathroom set up was convenient. The location is perfect for seeing the sunset and an easy walk to Bridge Street. The beach is right across the street and the beach wagon/chairs/umbrella provided are very handy. The large balcony has plenty of chairs for just hanging out and enjoying the salt air and beach town atmosphere. Mike is extremely helpful, responds promptly to all messages and a perfect host. I highly recommend Salty Living.

When we made the reservation, I didn’t realize that the wrap around 2nd floor deck was just for us to enjoy! What a pleasant surprise. Water views from almost every side
The property was so well maintained, and you have thought of every amenity that one would need.
We have been to AMI 4 times, and this was by far the best property that we have stayed, and we will definitely be back!

Place was very clean and just as it was described. Manager checked in to see if everything was ok and then he described all the place to eat that were good and asked if there was anything else we needed. Will definitely stay there again! Wrap around deck and the deck chairs were great! Beautiful place to watch the sunset and sun rise out the wide open windows.

Very good experience-property was clean and well kept. Capt Mike was very helpful and very responsive when needed. Wonderful private deck with great ocean view. N main road so traffic can be a bit noisy when on the deck but quiet inside the condo. I definitely recommend!

We loved the 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with great view of the gulf. Close to lots of places to eat, shop and play. Owner, Mike was very easy to work with, took very good care of us, was easily contacted. Beach just across the street.Hope to stay there again.

Salty Living Apt A
Location was great. Noisy at certain times due to closeness to the main road but within walking distance of just about everything. The property was well equipped with everything you need. Had plenty of beach towels, umbrella, suntan lotion and chairs and the buggy was a bonus to carry everything. They truly thought of just about everything an out of town traveler would need to enjoy time at the beach. Highly recommend.

My daughters, mom and I stayed at this property and we can't say enough about the location, property and Captain Mike! The beach directly across from the property was absolutely beautiful and never over crowded. So many options for shopping and restaurants within walking distance or a short ride on the trolley. Mike's dolphin tour was the best we've ever been on! Highly recommend staying here!

Perfect Beach Getaway
We stayed here for the long holiday weekend with our three grown children and have nothing but good things to say. The unit was cozy, comfortable and clean. It was right across the street from an amazing beach and had a great view off the porch too! Easy walking to the beach and several restaurants. Even though it was a holiday weekend we were not bothered by any noise or crowded beaches. The owner was very responsive and checked in to make sure we were ok. My daughter said that the sleeper sofa wasn't very comfortable, but we did not have high expectations for it anyway. On a plus, this was our first visit to Anna Maria Island, and it is the best beach we have visited on the Florida Gulf Coast so far. Not many people, no tall buildings, and the beaches still have a lot of vegetation and are quite pristine. We definitely hope to be back!

Lovely property across from the beach. We were able to walk everywhere in the area - to dinner, shops, beach, marina. Really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, towels, toys. Only thing to be aware of is that the house is near the corner of a busy interaction, so there was a lot of traffic and traffic noise - hard to hear inside with the nice new windows/doors, but made crossing the street with little kids a bit of an adventure.
