Porta la tua famiglia nella nostra pittoresca e assonnata casa sul lago, sulla desolata sponda settentrionale del Lago Weir di 6000 acri a Ocklawaha, FL, dove Ma Barker ebbe la sua famosa sparatoria con l'FBI nel 1935! "Edith Ott's Cottage" (vintage 1936) è perfettamente situato a 10 miglia da The Villages, a 14 miglia da Ocala, a 55 miglia dall'Università della Florida, a 70 miglia da Disney ea 90 minuti da entrambe le coste. Il sole sorge e tramonti saranno goduti da un ponte posteriore perfetto con vista sulla spiaggia di sabbia bianca di 100 'ed è ombreggiato tutto il giorno sotto enormi querce dal vivo. Vuoi goderti lo stesso dall'interno? Il portico bonus è riscaldato e climatizzato e offre spettacolari viste sul lago / spiaggia dalle sue tre pareti di finestre. Aggiornato cucina, lavatrice, asciugatrice, tv via cavo e wifi. 3 camere da letto (2 con vista lago e master si apre sul ponte) e 2 bagni. Nuoto, pesca, kayak, sci nautico, wakeboard, paddle boarding e altro ancora nel tuo cortile. Vieni a goderti la rilassante e rilassata vita sul lago! Questo NON è un duplex. Ha semplicemente porte d'ingresso separate ed è un "piano diviso".

This was a 4th stay at the Ott Cottage. Kent and Dana are great hosts and very accommodating. The cottage location is very convenient to the lake with great views of Lake Weir. It nice to be able to launch a boat the nearby boat ramp and able to keep the boat in the water at the cottage. We will going back again

So good stuff first, it was in a good location and close to the boat ramp. Plenty of parking. Right off the lake, probably would have been great for jet skis to come right up to the house. It was a very old house and the air conditioning was an issue, you're not allowed to make it lower than 75 so it was fairly hot. The biggest issue we had with it was the bugs, there were ants coming in the window. They were in the carpet, on the ceiling. They weren't fire ants, and I'm a Floridian so ants don't usually bother me as long as they aren't fire ants, but that's not what I expect when I rent a house. It was nice enough but we won't be returning.
