Questa deliziosa gamma di edifici è stata convertita in modo simpatico in case vacanza. I cottage si trovano all'interno dell'idilliaco villaggio di Hareby in una parte pittoresca del Lincolnshire Wolds. Le proprietà per le vacanze formano un cortile chiuso e sono state modernizzate con gusto mantenendo molte caratteristiche originali. Vantano soffitti a tutta altezza con travi a vista, piastrelle per pavimenti con riscaldamento a pavimento e stanze umide piastrellate con docce. Offrono una base di vacanza ideale per esplorare tutto ciò che questa zona panoramica ha da offrire con super passeggiate lungo tranquille stradine di campagna. Ideale anche per gli appassionati di ciclismo ed equitazione. Bolingbroke Castle 1 miglio, Snipe Dales Nature Reserve / Park 3 miglia, East Kirkby Aviation Museum 5 miglia, Horncastle Antiques 7 miglia e la città mercato georgiana di Louth a soli 15 miglia. Esplora i Bombardieri della Seconda Guerra Mondiale o segui le orme di Tennyson. La città di Lincoln e la località costiera di Skegness sono facilmente raggiungibili.

We had a brilliant time.
The Bran House was a very well looked after property and well appointed. The owners were excellent at responding to questions.
The location was perfect for us with access to the countryside and the beach - plenty of different places to go to. Our grandchildren spent 5 days on various beaches which were spacious with great waves/surf.
We ate out in Spilsby and visited antique shops in Horncastle where there was a good place for tea and cakes (The School House)!
We had really good weather too!!

The Bran House is a pleasant, clean and comfortable house in a quiet location. The fact that is has three en-suite bathrooms makes it possible for single people to go away together without having to share toilets, showers, etc. The only constructive criticisms I have is that the bath towels were scented and didn't dry the body easily. The bedding was scented which isn't ideal for somebody like myself that is scent sensitive. I felt The Bran House could benefit from more tea towels/towels in the kitchen and perhaps a couple of small sharp knives. I would give The Bran House an overall score of 8 out of 10 and would recommend it to anybody that enjoys walking or just wants to get away from it all.

A lovely cottage but very isolated which may not suit everyone.We enjoyed being able to walk along very quiet lanes where only a couple of cars passed each hour.The hamlet consists of only 12 properties ,four of which are holiday lets.The lane to the nearby village which has a pub but no shop was very uneven.The closest town was about 15 minutes away which had a supermarket and some places to eat.The upstairs bedroom does not have a door but has a staircase straight off the kitchen.This means people in this room were disturbed by others using the kitchen.
The cottage was reasonably well equipped and clean.Unfortunately the dishwasher broke down on the second day and the owner was not able to get it replaced until after we left.This meant time was spent washing up rather than relaxing or going for an evening walk.The internet was really poor and some of our gadgets just couldn't connect at all,a downside to the countryside.Phone reception was good.A number of places to visit were within 30 to 50 minutes drive.
If you are looking for somewhere off the beaten track and prefer to cook rather than eat out then this would be ideal.At night there was not a sound other than the hoot of an owl.
