Situato a soli 10 metri dalla spettacolare spiaggia sabbiosa di 5 miglia, questo appartamento con due camere da letto è confortevole e ben attrezzato. Quasi non toccato dalle mani del tempo, Filey è protetto dalla cresta bassa delle rocce chiamata Filey Brigg, da dove le sabbie si estendono verso sud e finiscono verso le spettacolari scogliere di gesso del Santuario degli uccelli RSPB di Bempton. C'è molto da vedere e da fare a Filey e nei dintorni, con facile accesso agli splendidi Wolds del North Yorkshire con viste mozzafiato sulla costa. Il treno a vapore di North York Moors compie un viaggio di 18 miglia attraverso la gloriosa Esk Valley fermandosi a Goathland, famosa sia per i film di Harry Potter che per la serie televisiva Heartbeat. Le gite di shopping nella città di Hull e nella storica città di York, con la sua cattedrale, musei, gallerie d'arte, negozi di souvenir, locande e sale da tè di fama mondiale, sono a poco più di un'ora di auto. Le passeggiate costiere e di campagna abbondano, con qualsiasi cosa, dalle camminate energiche a distanza a sentieri e piste ciclabili tranquilli attraverso villaggi tranquilli e città animate. La Cleveland Way e la Wolds Way offrono impareggiabili passeggiate su lunghe distanze. Ricco di storia, ci sono molte case, sale e castelli, con Burton Agnes Hall e Castle Howard facilmente raggiungibili. Le città costiere di Bridlington, Scarborough e l'antico porto marittimo di Whitby, le insenature dei contrabbandieri come Robin Hoods Bay, Runswick Bay e Staithes sono tutte facilmente raggiungibili. Apartment 2 was amazing with fantastic views of the sea. Very well equipped with everything that you needed to ensure an enjoyable and stress free holiday. Excellent location for beach, cliff top walks and local shops and amenities.
Had a really enjoyable stay and will definitely be back.

Another lovely stay in a great apartment.
Another lovely stay in a great apartment. We have stayed here on many occasions and I it was perhaps because of this that I was a little disappointed by the new furniture which was fixed to a wall meaning we could not move the beds together in the front room, the mirror has also been removed from this room and there was no hairdryer on this occasion, I understand about the COVID situation but as the iron was there along with the hoover I struggle to see why the hairdryer has had to be removed. The wifi was also hit and miss which caused a few issues with keeping in touch with people again I think I am being particularly picky because we have been so well served in the past. This is still a fab place to stay, the level of cleanliness was as always at a high standard and would highly recommend but on this occasion didn't quite tick all of our boxes.

Wonderful location, right on the beach. Extremely high standard of fixtures and fittings. Milk in fridge and good selection of tea, coffees , hot chocolate and biscuits plus good quality shampoo and body wash in bathrooms. Easy to find and park. Quiet and very clean. My only comment would be that 1 toilet roll for 4 people for 3 nights was not quite enough - a spare would have been good

Another lovely stay in a great apartment. The apartment is in the best location in Filey,right next to the beach with a lovely sea view.
The apartment is in the best location in Filey,right next to the beach with a lovely sea view. Very clean comfortable apartment but the beds were a little hard for us. Others may like a firm mattress. We were surprised that there were no facilities for recycling at the property.
Overall highly recommended and we would be happy to return.

The position on the Beach Road is fantastic for views across the bay. You have to be able to walk up hill/steps to get to the shops.
The plug in the bath does not engage so a bath is out of the question though the shower is amazing.
If you like bird watching evenings are best to see the Gannets diving in the bay.

We have revisited this apartment on multiple occasions and hope to continue doing so.
We have revisited this apartment on multiple occasions and hope to continue doing so. The experience from start to finish is brilliant. In terms of the apartment there is no better view to wake up to and being able to open the windows and listen to the ocean on the beach or crashing up on the sea wall is second to none. We love the fact that you can park up and then just abandon the car for the week if you are happy going out to explore on foot although there are also many fab visitor attractions within driving distance if you want to venture further afield. Cannot recommend this apartment enough, my only hesitation is that I want it all for myself :)
