Affacciato sul magnifico Forth Bridge, questo delizioso cottage è ideale per gruppi più numerosi, vicino alle spiagge sabbiose di Aberdour .. Piano terra: soggiorno. Sala da pranzo / cucina. 2 camere da letto: 1 matrimoniale, 1 doppia. Bagno con doccia e servizi igienici. Scale a gradini aperti al primo piano: 2 camere da letto: 1 matrimoniale (5 piedi), 1 doppia. Bagno con vasca idromassaggio, bidet e wc. Riscaldamento a biomassa, elettricità, biancheria da letto e asciugamani inclusi. Culla. Lettino da viaggio. Seggiolone. DVD e piccola biblioteca. CD. Fornello elettrico. Microonde. Lavatrice. In una fattoria funzionante nella splendida campagna aperta con vista sulla magnificenza dei Forth Bridges verso Edimburgo oltre, questo delizioso cottage offre eccellenti alloggi per le vacanze. Si trova a sole 3 miglia dalle sabbie argentee della spiaggia del pittoresco villaggio di Aberdour, con il suo bel castello e interessanti negozietti e sale da tè. Vi è un facile accesso in treno dal villaggio ad Edimburgo, a soli 20 minuti di distanza, perfetto per visitare la città senza lo stress del parcheggio. Oppure guida attraverso i deliziosi villaggi di pescatori dell'East Neuk fino a St Andrews. Deep Sea World 5 miglia. Golf 2 miglia ed eccellenti passeggiate e ciclismo sul sentiero costiero del Fife. Negozio, pub e ristorante 3 miglia.

Our stay at the cottage was wonderful, the home is extremely spacious and always warm and welcoming.The property is managed by cottages.com and advertised through other third parties, due to this, we didn't receive the checking in information at all but luckily the owner was on site to help us.A perfect base for exploring fife and the Lowlands.

Cannot praise Bankhead cottage enough. It is a really lovely well equipped cottage in a great location with amazing views.

Came up for a family wedding, stopping for 3 night. Lovely cottage and very spacious. Has everything you could need and more. Would definitely stay again.
Kids loved waking up every morning to see the cows through their bedroom window.
Found the property using google maps with no issues.

We loved our stay, the house was pretty clean and very nice. The location was perfect, although it was hard to find the address- just the name of the farm was given, and luckily Google maps had it. No communication about check in or check out though- it was unlocked when we got there, but we received no information about the key/lock/property rules or anything. No wifi. It was fine but just unexpected. We also were apparently supposed to bring our own toilet paper and paper towels, which we had no idea again because we didn’t receive any information from anyone before we arrived. There was a roll there leftover and we bought more- we also bought dish detergent, laundry detergent and left it there. There was some tea and coffee packets, and a tiny bit of sugar/salt/pepper and we left extras of what we bought as well. Towels and sheets were provided. Tv worked, but the DVD player did not. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and all the appliances worked. No dryer, but there was a drying rack and a line outside. Hot water worked in the shower. Tub was not clean- I tried filling it but there were a bunch of bugs once it filled past the jets so I emptied it and gave up. Beds were pretty comfortable, the upstairs bed is not a king though.
Aside from the lack of communication and a few missing essentials, the place itself was beautiful and we would probably stay again. We loved the cows and the view was incredible. Value for money though… it was on the high end for our family of 5.
